I lost my wallet the other day in the parking lot in front of Water Monkey. I called to see if it had been turned in there and it hadn’t. But the person I spoke with on the phone took the time to go around to other shops and ask about my wallet and call me back later that evening. I have always loved the store it self but having someone take time out of their day to help you and looking for nothing in return is very rare these days. Speaks volumes for the quality of people in this establishment.

Roger and his brother are outstanding merchants. We loved visiting this unique store. Gem stone rings TO DIE FOR - As a stylist I look for the store to have at least one or two brands I recommend to my clients, and there they were. Pixie Mood and Mata Traders both amazing brands that I direct my clients to regularly. In addition the gem stone rings are boho chic- with great price points. A must see in Portsmouth NH for your shopping pleasure.

I’ve been a Watermonkey fan since I first set foot back in 199something. A boyfriend took me there and somehow I’ve taken all my exboyfriends there since. These days I go with my husband and kids. It’s a must whenever we visit Portsmouth, a city we love. The owner remembers us and makes it a point to share jokes. We always seem to find what we’re looking for and we’ve yet to be disappointed. I bought a shirt there and wore it many times. I love the way it smells, it absorbed the store’s aura. It took me a long time before I washed it. If you don’t visit this store you’re truly missing out. It’s a unique and unforgettable experience.

Watermonkey is the place where I get all of my hats. Highly recommended for clothes and hats!
