They have very good coffee! I typically find myself getting a caramel macchiato, or a French vanilla cappuccino. I can promise you whatever your coffee preference is, they have it and it’ll be good. Would highly recommend them!

Great coffee, great atmosphere, bourbon drinks and cigars…Truly unbelievable! The cinnamon rolls were especially good with great cinnamon flavor. The coffee was excellent with a fresh and hearty coffee flavor. I will definitely be returning to this place.

Adorable coffee shop and great choices

Even though my toddler was being a... well toddler, everyone was very patient and kind with us. He had made a huge mess of his drink and they cleaned it up and gave us a new one very kindly. Everything tasted incredible! This place has it all: great coffee and food, wonderful service, and a nice atmosphere. The iced matcha latte was delicious and their latte art is pretty cute!

Always a positive experience at the lofts. I do miss the cozy atmosphere it used to have inside with couches and the furniture being rearranged each day, but the coffee is decent and the workers are always very helpful.

Cute spot but food is way overpriced for what you get. Ham sandwich $7, Swiss cheese, sliced ham on bread. No side. Underwhelming. And the baristas always seem to busy to take my order, not sure the deal with that.

Whats not to love about Coffee at the Lofts? With fast friendly service and prices that are comparable to larger chain franchises and amenities such as free wi-fi and a variety of seating arraignments ranging from cozy to large group tables this is simply the best coffee shop in the area.

This is a daily stop for me. Staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere inviting. The only problem is that all other coffee has become undesirable after drinking lofts coffee.

This place has great food, great coffee (and mimosas!) And one of the freshest menus in town. I cant stress enough how refreshing the interior is, clean as a whistle. The workers are experienced and efficient. Love this place. Very pricey, but hey! So is Starbucks!

The food was really good; especially one of the flatbreads that’s we tried. A few friends of mine were able to sit outside and enjoy a well-made cup of coffee and bible study in what felt like a safe environment. While the atmosphere was wonderful I wasn’t able to give this a 5 star rating on the instance that the service wasn’t perfect. I realize they’re human though and may not have realized that their service wasn’t the best, however there was one waitress there who was a wonderful server and very kind. I do plan on going back, I truly enjoyed the day there.

This place is excellent. It is very clean and cozy. I was impressed at how new everything looks. They brew coffee in there as well, which is cool. The food was good. I got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, it was pretty basic phone did the job. Good coffee as well. I am making a return trip to Ohio next month and I plan on going here again.

One of my favorite locally owned coffee shops. They offer a wide variety of artisan coffee/tea drinks, wine, all while still offering the basics too. I love to get hazelnut blended ice frappes and bring my own travel mug for iced coffee. The setting is comfortable with a lot of natural light. Depending on the drink it can be a little more pricey, but they provide high quality ingredients. Good place to study, work, relax, or catch up with a friend!

Great place! Id never been and had my puppy with me. I went in to purchase a water and was told free water was available in a bowl! And then the barista was kind enough to take my order outside and bring me my food and change so I wouldnt have to leave my puppy!! Wonderful and kind people and place! ♥

I didnt go inside but I really appreciated being able to get things like macarons there. I had a mango smoothie and a honey lavender as well as a pistachio macaron...Nice!

Good cappuccino for there, and good beans to take home.^ This was my original review. Let me amend this. Coffee @ the Lofts is fantastic.After several disappointing, overly milky, sad excuses for cappuccino at other coffee shops across the region, I got back to Portsmouth and ordered a dry cap from the shop.It wasnt just good. It was amazing. Perfectly balanced, just enough of the milk foam sweet to give it that perfect dark chocolate bitter-sweet flavor.The beans here are good. The baristas know how to make the drinks you ask for. I cant offer any better recommendation for coffee anywhere in Portsmouth or the Portsmouth area. If youre outside Portsmouth, its worth the drive.

Portsmouth is my hometown, and I was excited to be home after a couple of years and finally try this gem of a coffee house. The young mad working the register (I forget his name, but he was from Chillicothe), was so polite and very knowledgeable. I love that Portsmouth has a coffe house like this and I love that the owner is also from Portsmouth. The coffee was very good as was the food! The entire place is aesthetically pleasing. I also love that the coffee house has a full liquor license!! I cannot wait to come home again and enjoy quality and a glass of wine or whiskey with my sisters!

Very cute, chic, and trendy. They have a wide selection of syrups for your coffee or tea. They also have fun brunch, breakfest, and dinner options. Such as mimosa and waffles. For a small town I was very surprised, they also took care of things when asked. Plus they have a variety of tarts, cheesecakes and muffins.

Whether you like hot coffee, cold brewed coffee, flavored coffee, or even just some good ole morning muffins, you will leave satisfied not only in your order but also in the great service.

Great place with a lot of options! Coffee, tea, wine and beer all in one place? Sold! They provide pour overs and other slow brews as well as cold brews. Girst time visitor but I will be back for sure whenever I am in Portsmouth. Their indoor seating is open and spacious along with an awesome outdoor patio areas.

I love this place. Really great area people watch while eating my muffin and having my coffee. Its much easier for me to walk down the street and do my online classes in such a great non judgement free zone in this beautiful spot! The hours are great and works around my schedule well. Who can forget the fact that beer can be bought. Great Service everyone the staff begins to call you by name and very great at their jobs. Its really good coffee and drinks. I myself cant try any of the foods because of allergies. Only thing is its always packed and its rather expensive.

The last 3 times i’ve been here the coffee has tasted like cigarettes. The first time i had been here i thought the coffee was delicious. I don’t know if every time i’ve been i’ve gotten old coffee or what. I always get a flavor added into my latte but it still taste like cigarettes.

I really love this shop, the drinks are great. I just had the food here for the first time and it was awesome. Ill definitely start coming here more regularly to work.My only complaint is that the cashier rang up my matcha latte as the default milk when I had asked for soy. I noticed the taste was off but didnt think anything of it until I checked our receipt (when I was a bit more than halfway through the drink). Being super lactose intolerant, this is going to wreck my day possibly into tomorrow. Im about half an hour post drink and its already messing me up :D

This place would be at home in any large city in the world, and would stand out anywhere as an excellent gem of an amazing coffee house. To find it in a small town like Portsmouth is absolutely amazing, and it really stands out as a fantastic treasure in Scioto County.
