The folks here give the best customer service!! They are attentive, and accommodating. Vladimir speaks Spanish which has been very helpful as my mom prefers to communicate that way. Theyve replaced lost and broken hearing aids for her without a problem. They have always scheduled times that met her needs. Darien and Connie have both shown an extraordinary amount of patience and kindness to both me and my mom. I really recommend this hearing aid establishment, the people are dedicated and are the best. I had a fantastic experience at Mt. Hood Hearing! I’d been struggling with what seemed like an ear infection for weeks. I was able to get an appointment quickly and Darien was super friendly and helped me get scheduled. I’m anxious around doctors usually, especially when there’s testing involved, but Dr. Gutierrez was so friendly and put me at ease right away. I left feeling like I’d just gotten to visit with friends. The office felt very safe in terms of Covid procedures, too. I don’t thing I touched a thing, not even a door knob. I highly recommend Mt. We have had such a wonderful experience with Mount Hood Hearing Center. My mother lives with us because she has dementia. So we take her to all of her appointments and help her with many aspects of her life. We recently picked up her brand new hearing aid and it’s amazing. I was recommended to Vlad by my daughter. The service I got is terrific. Vlad explained in details what my requirements were and he was very patient. I was able to try the hearing aids for 30 days without having to pay anything up front. I saw Vlad once per week during the trial and being satisfied I bought the hearing. From the initial consultation through post-purchase follow-up, Vlad and the staff at Mt. Hood hearing exceeded expectations. I was already wearing a demo pair of hearing aids from my ENTs audiologist. They were high end and I was happy with them and intended to purchase them there. A good friend suggested that I go see Vlad because he is so knowledgeable about so many hearing aids and gives great service. In the first meeting with Vlad, he reviewed my hearing report and did some additional tests that the audiologist had not done. He suggested a different brand (also one of the top brands) and gave a very thorough education on features, the app for my phone, and all the follow up that he would do. And for a price that was several hundreds of dollars less. I made the decision to go with Mt. Hood Hearing. When I told my audiologist, she said that the model Vlad recommended was excellent and that the follow up he offers is also excellent. I felt very good about my decision. I really like being able to enter questions through the app, to which he answers almost immediately. All through the trial period (before purchase), I met with him weekly, we did some tweaks, and I am very pleased with these hearing aids. The staff makes sure to greet you and respond to any questions. Its a wonderful customer service level!

I received exceptionally good service at Mt Hood Hearing, from the office personnel to the audiologist. Mr. Gutierrez used data from my exam to help me choose the best hearing aids for me. He then used loaner hearing aids for 6 weeks to adjust the device I had chosen to optimize my hearing in the environments I live and work in. When we were certain I had the right hearing aid for me, I returned the loaner devices and purchased my own. The result is an amazing improvement in my hearing with exceptionally comfortable, inconspicuous hearing aids. I highly recommend Mt Hood hearing for anyone who may have difficulty hearing.

The Receptionist was VERY helpful and friendly throughout my time there. I looked at several hearing aid providers before deciding to work with the team at Mt Hood Hearing. The first product I tried just didnt seem to be a good fit for my needs, so they gladly took them back, and suggested a less expensive hearing aid that I was happier with. Getting used to hearing aids can take some time, and I am also fairly fussy about sound quality and have sinus issues that affect my hearing too, so over the course of a couple years I have been back to Mt Hood many times for adjustments and fine tuning. The staff has been professional, friendly, patient, and understanding of my needs EVERY TIME- this is not a business that is just there to sell you a product, they really care about your hearing needs and keeping you satisfied. They also successfully assisted me in a dispute with my insurance provider over coverage, and quickly had a replacement for me when I lost one of my hearing aids. Mt Hood Hearing has consistently gone above and beyond in helping me with my hearing needs.

My husband Mike is blind and also needs hearing aids. We actually live in Gresham, OR and must drive about 15 miles to Mt. Hood Hearing instead of using a local hearing aid company. We had followed a former audiologist to this business but after she left we kept coming in because of Vladimirs excellent service. My husband is a stickler for service. Hood hearing had all of the latest high tech and skill sets to do the job right for me. The facility is clean, professional and convenient in location. They told me they had hearing aids from $300 to $4,000. they said if I bought the hearing aids from them I wouldnt have to pay an $85 exam fee. The bait and switch came in when they said oh we dont have $300 hearing aids for you only the $2,000 and up brands. The whole hearing aid industry is a scam even though Congress rewrote the rules in 2017 they have not been enacted yet.

Although it is NOT A PLEASURE to have to use a hearing aid in the first place, the care and attention I received in getting it right,softened the blow! My 91 year old father has been struggling with his hearing for years. 10 years ago my brother bought him some good hearing aids and when those wore out, my father replaced them with amplifiers which he bought through a magazine add. After struggling to convince him that he really couldnt hear, he agreed to allow us to buy him new aids. He found Mt. Hood Hearing and I was so grateful. Vlad and Darien are wonderful and the process was so respectful and professional. The technology of hearing aids has come so far and now that my dad has the aids, he looks and acts so much younger. Hes delighted that he can now hear the grandfather clock ticking in his apartment. We are so appreciative for the care we are receiving through Mt. Hood Hearing!

Vladimir knows what hes doing, and he will help every step of the way. Beyond hearing aids, hes an all-around audio expert. He has the ability to intelligently look beyond simple EQ settings for all the issues that may affect sound quality both in regular use and separately for Bluetooth streaming. Additionally, the Phonak device I have recently got full blue tooth, phone-based controls. Vlad has lobbied with the company for user interface and support features (I identified some specific issues), and they delivered! Staff is super-friendly and courteous.

My husband recently was fitted with a hearing aid at Mt. Hood Hearing Aid Center. Ive been bugging him for a long time to do something about his hearing. Although his hearing loss was mild, it was frustrating to me when Id have to shout to get his attention. The staff at Mt. Hood Hearing was thorough and honest. They were very careful to recommend the best hearing aid for his type of hearing loss and the one they felt hed be most successful in adapting to, not simply the most expensive one. He wears it all the time. He loves that he can talk on his cell phone without holding the phone as the hearing aids have bluetooth functionality. He can keep up with conversations in a crowded room or where there is a lot of background noice. We have been very pleased with the follow up care as well. He was monitored weekly during the first 30 days, and even now if he has any issues or questions, they are always willing to work with him and his hearing aids so that he continues to have the best possible experience. I purchased custom ear plugs from Mt. Hood Hearing Aid Center and absolutely love them! The office is very comfortable and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

For me the experience of having my hearing tested was a real eye opener. Learning what type of hearing loss I had and my options to correct it was so different than what I was expecting. The professional and caring customer service I got was the best. My background as an engineer leads me to question and analyze everything. What I love about these new hearing aids is the technology behind them. The ability to adjust each hearing aid to match what each ear is experiencing is amazing. The coaching app that is available for smart phones really teaches you to learn to focus to a persons voice at different levels of background noise. Because the hearing aids use bluetooth technology you can listen and respond directly thru them. Nothing is better than having a smart phone conversation thru your hearing aids. I am still learning how to identity and isolate difficult hearing experiences but one thing is for sure and that is being able to listen and understand what someone is actually saying is a game changer.
