Wasnt too crowded for a Saturday morning. Samples are making a come back as well. Got more than we came for, but stayed on budget target. The selection of dog toys is always fun here, check those out if you get a chance. I noticed a doggie pool with setup and toys $35 or so, next time! The danishes are amazing! One cheese and one almond and set for the week, so yummy.

Found my favorite affordable superfood! Tastes great and I love the energy the beets give me.

Very accommodating of an injured lady without her card,in fact the store mngr asked me what I was interested in,asked if he sent someone to fetch and if I liked it what method of payment would I use,I told him cash. And he went out of his way to do just that and I purchased my merchandise with out a Costco card and went home happy. Everyone was. Great! Thanks for having some humanity Costco,you really made the difference.

I do not like Costco practices of assuming everyone is a thief before you walk out door. Most stores control their loss with better security but I have always taken offense to it due to the amount of money I spend in there. Yesterday ended my relationship with Costco. I went shopping at this store with husband and friend. Between the 3 of us we rang up over 600.00 in items. We all went to different cashiers and when I went to pay had my husbands card he had mine however we are on same account. So when I showed her the card the fight was on. I am Caucasian my husband Asian. When she saw his picture she went off on me telling me it wasnt my card.I looked and no it wasnt. I explained we both had same account and all she had to do was look up account and see it was OK. She refused. I had to pull my husband out of his line to show her card. It became a mess with everyone in line staring at me like I was trying to pull a fast one. I wanted to leave my cart and tell her off but struggled with going to customer service. I spoke to a supervisor who stood behind her could have cared less. I am done with this place. Its the consumer that has made this place rich. Their customer service sucks

Love the Super/Business Costcos. Better seasonly selections. Better chances of finding larger sized items. I live in Northern Washington but visit family in Portland monthly. Im now noticing a sharp contrast in shoppers and personnel. This location feels like it serves half of Oregon on any given day. Fast paced, crowded, less accessible aisles, ADA carts often not available, and too small for the size many of the Costco items.

No complaints. Employees are helpful if you need them to help locate something. Sometimes the chickens in the hot deli area are missing. They cannot seem to keep up with demand, not their fault they can only cook so many at a time. Store is clean and organized.

Ive been here before, but this was the first time I realized how great it was. They literally do everything industrial, you can get almost anything at a relatively cheap price and they strive to conduct good customer service. Best place ever.

I suppose this place is nice if you like to shop in bulk. Prices no greater or lesser than anywhere else. Have been waiting over 4 months for promotional $30 card! Dont believe Ill be renewing my membership!

Very busy on weekends, so be prepared to walk pretty far if you come on a Saturday or Sunday. Always well stocked and efficient checkout process. Great holiday deals and clothing options for each seasons as well.

Its quite shameful of people not going to stand in line like everyone else is doing. So a few minutes before they open all these people just cut in line theyre all cheaters, really pathetic. I asked an employee at customer service why they dont have a security person out front just before they open to tell these people to go to the end of the line? Because people are getting ticked off! He said their main concern is the safety of the vehicles not getting broken into which I understand, but I told him pretty soon youre going to have a concern of fist fights going on, no morals!

One of my favorite stores. Everything is stocked ninety nine percent of the time. I hope they mix up the variety of fresh food products soon but that’s not the fault of the local store. Parking lot has enough room but hectic to park and leave

When I was in Costco tonight there were several people without masks. Other with masks below the nose and children obliviously over 5 years in age without masks.

Most Costco stores I have visited are nearly indistinguishable from one another, aside from slight variations of interior layout. But in the case of this particular location, it seemed that they carried a larger-than-usual amount of quality, imported Asian food products, which I am all about.Other things that differentiate this NE Portland Costco from others nearby: theres a massive selection of wine, beer and cider, spanning a large swath of the store that would nominally hold hard liquor, if this were a WA location. Thats a downward trade, in my opinion, but its not Costcos fault: blame our states draconian, Prohibition-esque liquor laws for that one.I usually shop at the WA location closest to where I work, but Im slowly transitioning to this tax-free, slightly varied, slightly superior location. As a general rule, the closest Costco to ya will do ya, since theyre relatively interchangeable, but the subtle differences win out in the end, and this one might have just enough edge to rise to the top, for me, at least. Time will tell.

This is my go-to Costco store when I go to Portland. I always get gas here. The gas service is very quick and will get you in and out. Sometimes they only have a couple lines going when its not that busy but its the lines move fast. The store is busy but not too crowded and the lines move quickly. Thank you Costco I will continue to shop here. The parking lot is clean and the shopping carts are always collected any timely manner. Nice parking for bigger trucks.

I frequent the NE Portland Costco & get gasoline about once a week. I want to shout out your staff member, Mimi. They are always friendly, genuine & remember me even if its been several weeks or months between the time I see them. The rest of the staff is always friendly and helpful. I always receive stellar service and will continue to come back.

Love shopping at this Costco! The prices are excellent and they always have everything I could ask for. My favorite part is dropping by the food court on my way out. During the bulk of the pandemic, the food court wasnt selling the chicken bakes or really anything other than pizza and hotdogs. Stopped by today and got everything I needed. To my surprise, I was presented a full menu food court also. Very happy!

To the tire department went into Costco tire department searching for a good deal on tires they said they The tire of choice. come to find out they sold it as a special order which jacked up the price and then while installing the tires they snapped a log off and then did not pay for it or make it right with me they refused to write it up in the paperwork as any type of damage costing me several hundred dollars these guys are a scam pay attention to the paperwork!

Ive been to locations with much better customer service- my experience here today was not the best at all.Self checkout: I had 5 large items and asked for the little wand to scan my purchases and the attendant said NO, my items didnt meet the weight requirements.He played dumb, I had to ask more than 3 times and at the point he should have realized that I had a reason for the request.He scanned 1 item and it was the least heavy of all.Then after I finished my transaction another employee almost tripped over herself to check my receipt- all while I was still at the register.She made such a big scene that 2 others came over to me.I had not even taken 2 steps.It is not necessary for 4 workers to scrutinize the purchase especially when I was the one who initially asked for assistance to scan the items.Why would I want their assistance if I had bad intentions or planned to steal??I still had the exit and receipt check and the employee never made eye contact with me and didnt acknowledge me in any way.Then the gas station attendant called me SIR. Im a very curvaceous, voluptuous woman- such a pathetic experience today!

Went to Costco early this morning thinking they were open at 9 their hours were not updated on their website to say it said 10 a.m. instead of 9 am.Shopped for a few items extremely busy. The book selection is small compared to how it was in the past.They have a large selection of clothes and shoes. Have a very largeElectronics section.Beautiful flowers at nice prices you could take one home today & you can enjoy them in your home!

This has always been a great Costco location. my understanding that is this is one of their most profitable locations. most likely due to people from Washington coming down and making large purchases tax free

Typical Costco, but this one seems to keep their checkers close by. Almost always short waits to check out even when slammed. Its a Costco... so of course there could be improvements, however, I do prefer this location over my other options.

While there is a well curated selection of all kinds of stuff that you need (and plenty that you dont need) the mobs of people pushing their giant shopping carts can be quite overwhelming sometimes.Shopping the monthly deals can yield some excellent bargains.Overall, Costco really needs to open up at least one other store in the area, to ease the overcrowded shopping conditions encountered at this location.

For people looking to get quality meals with minimal preparation, these kits are great.Price $15, with 5 servings per container. Its a Costco which is already magical but on top of that they had the Kirkland signature sweatshirt.

Good place to go. But to be honest. They continue to displease me. Every time i get something i like to eat they stop selling it. No Green tea for god knows how long now. They had Panko breaded chicken strips. For a person on the go all the time such as myself its good to have something healthy to eat. And it doesnt take long to prepare it.

I love this Costco due to its proximity. However, the Washingtonians love it too. Instead of going to theirs, they warm up the atmosphere and save pennies by not paying taxes. The staff is valiant in trying to keep the hordes at bay (especially in the weekend).

Walked in the exit doors to renew my membership and was practically tackled by the employees. I guess theyre actively trying to discourage people from renewing any way other than online. Considering that you cant buy anything without a current membership (even the self check requires you to scan an active card before you do anything else) Im honestly not sure what the big deal is.

NOBODY there enforces the mask policy. I even pointed out a customer walking around with no mask and the worker blatantly chose to not address the situation. IT’S THE LAW. Very disappointed

It was nice to be able to walk around Costco without a mask. Me and my sister do our shopping together and we have both been vaccinated since December of 2020. It was freeing. Of course we had my sisters daughter who are 7 and 5 keep their masks on but it was great to shop and feel like we had part of our freedom returned to us! This location just asks you at the door if youve been vaccinated and they dont require you showing your vaccination card. ❤ I hope people will continue to be honest when they go maskless in places that allow it if you are vaccinated!

Its usually hard for a single Costco to be bad compared to other Costco locations: almost all stores follow similar setup, carry the same items, have similar if not the same prices, guidelines and try to have the same atmosphere.At this location there are lots of items, samples, new promotional stands from different companies, and good deals. Kirkland brand is great overall, and of good quality. Their clothing line is getting better too. You can find a lot of good brand food and drink items here too, like the new Starbucks creamers.This Costco can get extremely busy outside due to the gas station for Costco members. When that happens, parking and driving in this Costco parking lot can be very annoying and time consuming. Inside, while it can get busy everywhere, the worst place is after checkout by the food court. Thats where all humans forget how to walk around and how to push the shopping carts. Sometimes, it may take you almost as long to get from the cashier to the exit door as it does to stand in line to finishing paying for your items. For those with social anxiety or something similar or simply wanting peace, I dont recommend this place if the parking lot is busy. On top of that, while they are promoting the self-checkouts a lot much to a lot of opposition, the self checkout becomes a mute point as everyones cart is fully audited again at the exit just like they always have. There is no time saved using self checkout. Only benefit is to Costco saving money on fewer employees.If youre looking for Costco gas, this is the store in the neighborhood to go to.Overall, if youre a Costco member, its another store you can utilize. Its never going to be a quick visit though (no Costco ever is).

Had such a great experience with this Costco! James, a manager there, went out of his way to help us find the perfect couch for our home. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was pleasant and easy. The other staff members were also very helpful and kind. It’s SO NICE to go somewhere where people are still friendly, it really made our day. Thank you James and thank you Costco. We love our new couch! We hope to visit Costco again soon.

Though tons of people we went through self checkout and was pleased with the quickness getting in and out.

I didnt even know where to start. Theres so many things Im able to stock up on. Its just me and my daughter and the food I got is going to last us several months. It just stinks that some people cant afford a membership. Especially if theyre low income. It makes me wonder if they took that membership away, would they make more business that way.

Has a good selection like most people know and some choice items of my preference are a good buy in bulk here.

Costco is always fun to see what the new food products, the new items for all the holidays. There vitamins are usually cheaper than other stores.

Its your typical Costco, Busy ! This location feels larger than other ones around Portland / Vancouver. I cant think of anything special about this location. Has an autoshop, food court just like most Costcos. Checkout folks are top of the line efficient. Plan on bringing your own bags / basket for loading into car as they dont have bags and boxes can be limited.

Well stocked, least crowded I have ever seen the Portland Airport Way Costco. Plenty of staff and on top of disinfecting everything. Nice job!

This is pretty much your typical Costco. However I do appreciate the fact that there are some grassy and tree shaded areas on the n.e. and s.e. areas to let my dog get a little walk in when the weather is cool enough for him to ride along

Costco cash card Is bad, does not have flexibility I got 2000.00 cash card for buying a 17,000.00 lennox central heat and air system. And very hard to use it with citi bank credit card

Its Costco..... crazy at times with huge carts and oblivious people. Limited selection of warehouse sized stuff cant be beat. I always have to buy some clothes 😩 because theyre such a Great Deal I refer to this place as the $20 dollar store

Been going here for decades now. Its where you get the big containers of everything. As an audiophile I love looking at all the new electronics. I really like that the merchandise, and food are constantly changing, but the family staples are always there.Dont forger to get a Cosco dog on the way out.

Because my job has me all over the PDX and surrounding areas, I have been able to visit many of their stores. I like the staff here, as they are attentive and helpful. One time, they didn’t have a particular item and the staff member who was assisting me actually went onto their in-house system to look up which store had my object of desire and even checked the inventory for me AND reached out to them to set one aside for me!

Everyone is very helpful here. The food is great especially with the new ordering kiosk. Samples by themselves can give you a whole meal. Extra special when theyre handing out chocolate!

Awesome! Finally was able to shop without a freaking mask on. Not one employee asked me to put one either. Even the guy who checked us out didnt wear one. Whenever another shopper looked at me with the WEAR YOUR MASK! I just said famous last words, I CANT BEATH!.

Am so happy to get to report excellent staff in the optical department and I really was so pleased with my new glasses.

Returned a ton of liquor from wedding left over. Liquor must be returned to the store purchased from.

I bought a large kitchen appliance from Costco’s website. The short version is this: The supposed “white glove” delivery was a complete nightmare. The delivery company contracted was unhelpful, unprofessional, and disorganized. I would review that company but I was never told there name. The way the delivery was handled resulted in my dog having a seizure, my old fridge not being taken away as expected, and my new fridge installed without being leveled. The worst of this is, of course the potential health risk to my dog. My dog has a seizure disorder that was directly triggered by the unprofessional behavior of the deliver workers. I would elaborate but character limits prevent me.I will never order another large ticket item from Costco and plan to cancel my membership.

Ordered in a new set of tires, they came to the store in about a week.I called with my confirmation code and made an appointment.The technician who helped me was polite and concise.They saved my old tires per my request, bagged them and put them in the trunk just like I asked.Total install time was 35minutes, I was told to expect about an hour... Not complaints with that!There is a small grove in one of the wheels from the tire machine, seems like the automatic offset might need to be adjusted... Honestly if your so worried about your wheels that a nick would bother you then maybe you should reassess your priorities...Only real gripe would be the large amount of lubricant left smeared around the wheel, but even that seems pretty because they were fast and polite and the wheels are balanced and smooth at all speeds. 100% Ill be back again.Also if your looking for tires the pilot sport 4 is wicked sweet (¢10)

I been going here for years and also happen to buy house close by, how lucky me # Costco with gas. So many good things about this place.

Once again they had just what we needed. We were able to get in and out quickly even though the store was very busy. Also, even with a mostly full parking lot we found a convenient space easily.

I love Costco! Their employees are always so friendly and nice. They have good quality for lower prices there.

They have the best frozen yogurt and cheese pizza at their deli🤤 and everything at the deli is very affordable!

I will always love Costco! I had to return a couple of things and while we were there I took my daughter to the optical counter because she had discovered the night before that jumping on a trampoline and wearing glasses at the same time doesn’t always work. The gentleman at the counter, Max, was fabulous. He was able to fix them quickly and was so friendly and helpful. It didn’t matter that my daughters glasses were purchased from a different optical shop at all. Thank you Max!

I wanted to check out Costco because of their exchange policy.
