National Aviation University (Ukrainian: Національний авіаційний університет) is a university located in Kiev, Ukraine. It started in 1933 when the Kiev Aviation Institute was founded on the basis of the mechanical department of Kiev Polytechnic Institute. The University consists of 16 institutes, 2 separate faculties, 1 Aviation Academy (KFA NAU), 3 lyceums, 6 colleges and 12 research institutes including their subdivisions and 8 departments. The university has its own center for culture and arts, medical center, library, “Aviator” newspaper and a yacht club. University also supports the State Aviation Museum.

Awesome place. I am an American who visited the University to experience the Tu-134 flight simulator. What an interesting and unique experience for me. I truly enjoyed it.

The territory of university is nice and pretty large with several flying vehicles demonstrated and many students obtaining the education there.

I had studied here from 2002-2007. This is very beatitful place, good people, peaceful city. I love Kiev.

Old or/and unqualified teachers with low salaries are not motivated enough to teach well. rulers of this university build private buildings on its territory. IT institute dont have any computers, only furniture from Soviet times. Corruption is at 80% level (official statistics about percentage of students who paid or were forced to paid for good marks or at least had opportunity to pay). According to dou.ua it is the worst university in kiev in IT industry

Вцілому вчитись можна, але потрібно бути готовим, саме до деяких але:Застарілість у всьому - обладнання, теоретичні знання, методи навчання, приміщення, відношення до студентів.Розташування - всі корпуси розташовані далеко один від одного, якщо вам треба взяти якийсь документ (наприклад відомість на екзамен) яку вам дадуть лише перед екзаменом, то фізично на перерві туди і назад ви не встигнете, може бути ще черга або обідня перерва - тоді ви взагалі не встигнете на свій екзамен або прийдете серед пари і без відомості.Холодно в аудиторіях, завжди, в будь-яку пору року.Деяким викладачам пора на пенсію давно, а саме через застарілість знань, методів навчання і технологій.Присутня корупція, в деяких викладачів гендерний приоритет по відношенню до студентів.Навіть якщо ти нормальний студень, то до тебе може бути погане відношення з якихось своїх невідомих причин з боку викладача.У висновку ці застарілі теорії нікому не потрібні, витрачені роки на навчання дають мало толку.Коли у вас є вибір університетів, то на НАУ я б вже не звернула уваги, але для розуміння цього довелось витратити роки і таки провчитись тут.

A huge area where you can just walk and enjoy coffee.There are designated smoking areas - this is a plus.The place for a walk is good, there is where to walk, the territory is well-groomed, but not all. I am a teacher myself and that is why I write honestly and frankly that only a few teachers were really interesting to listen to. Others taught new and non-profile subjects and therefore dealt with them themselves, and some even missed couples. Usually students are absent, not teachers. And at NAU I was surprised by this that several teachers really missed couples. I would like to emphasize that we paid for our masters degree. Therefore, it is not clear whether this is the management and organization of the educational process, or whether responsible people do not want to go there to work. However, reliving the student days was interesting and fun. And in general, the graduating department had friendly and responsive staff who helped us solve problems in different situations. By the way, we were pleased with the prices for rolls, coffee and various dishes in the student canteen and cafeterias.

The information is outdated, the methods and presentation are also not particularly encouraging.
