Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The music added to the vibe, the burger was cooked perfectly and was very juicy! Really appreciated the expert friendly service from Radi too. Would recommend the Choppy Stunt Cocktail😍.

Weve been several times, its our local. Its always very good, but the new girl, maybe a manager we dont know, she is great. Great customer service, super welcoming! Will come more often early in the day now

Very bad atmosphere.The lady manager (Radi I heard this name) shouting something on the front door.She looks so stressed,but this is not reason for shouting in front of the costumes.we felt like in a horror movie.Food was okay,but cocktails coming soo slow in 20 min and after the food .The empty plates stayed long on the table.Was pleasantly of staff on the floor but was so many wrong things.They need good manager for sure and my be some training for barman’s and waitresses

Had a brilliant night! It was short staffed and table service only but the vibe made up for it all and staff were extremely helpful.

Nice location and easy to find. Table was booked for 8:30pm friday and when we arrived the music was very loud and they sat us next to the speakers. Cocktails were really nice and food was good but my main chicken and waffles, the waffles were over cook and hard to cut into.

Used to go years ago and it was ok then. Its very dark and dingy and lacks atmosphere as your not allowed to dance and you have to be seated at tables. Staff were ok. Will not return would rather go to Shoreditch were there is a bit more life.

Manager kept asking me to remove my hat while the others were still wearing hats I didnt understand why otherwise nice venue for the vinyl records on Thursday night D J xavier is awesome

Great very attentive service, complimentary popcorn, warm welcoming, didn’t have any mock-tails available but Casper was able to knock up a couple makeshift virgin Coladas, food was reasonable, but tacos where unfortunately underwhelming in size but not bad, atmosphere kept upbeat with music n’ bartender.

Nice location in South Woodford, plenty of room for a big enough party which was handy as there was 8 of us. Music was really good playing old RnB tunes, such a shame we couldn’t get up and dance, but we abided to the rules.Drinks menu had a good selection, although table service did keep forgetting most of our drinks.Managed to find one hand sanitising station near our table which was good, just wish it was a bit more visible to notice when we arrived.Overall, really good night with my friends!

Lizard Lounge is a very special place in my heart. Youll meet the nicest team. Yummy food and delicious cocktails. Great Djs giving the place good vibes, specially on Sundays. People are genuinely nice and enjoy themselves. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved it here, staff were really and helpful! Cocktails were nice and got some snacky foods, nachos were our favourite! Open till 12 on weekdays and 2 on Friday & Saturday.Easy to get find. Lockdown provided many months of bliss for local residents as this place was closed for sometime.We’ve now returned to the normal shouting and screaming of Lizard Lounge customers late at night. Granted, not exactly the bar’s fault, but no effort seems to be made to be respectful to the people that live here. A good place to go if you like watching a fight or two.The bar itself is pleasant but overpriced unless you’re on a BOGOF offer. Cocktail selection is the usual suspects + a couple of interesting additions.

My and my friend visited here on our way home on the way from the George for one final drink. The barmaid Clare was just so lovely. You could just tell she had the sweetest heart. Everything we asked her about the area she was able to accommodate us. She was also very quick to serve us. However,I didn’t catch the other girls name but she was quite rude and hostile, and not just to us but I watched her act the same towards other customers. The locals in the pub were very friendly and I would like to return if all the staff in the pub were as lovely as Clare. All in all lovely pub.

My second visit and both times have been very good. Nice cocktails at reasonable prices, especially during happy hour. Nice food and nibbles menu. Bar staff are friendly. Good vibes with modern pop music and TV screens showing videos, busy but little sofa booths keep it intimate. Its a nice, different kind of place to have in South Woodford.

Great crowd and music. Open till late. Bar service was very good. Nicely located across the street from variety of restaurants. Great option for after dinner drinks. ££

Occasionally go here. The bar itself is reasonably narrow but quite deep so you can walk to the back where there is a dancing area and it opens up. Everything is good but the music is old school garage, where I prefer anything a bit more modern. Hip hop, r&b, drake - anything like that would be better. Also, I find it a bit clique in there, everyone knows each other and arent really friendly. Ive seen some of the regular girls in there going around asking guys to get the shots in for them. It is always busy on the weekend so they do have a following. But for me its just ok/quite good

Came here unplanned with a few girls on a Sunday evening. Met a great bartender called George, he was very attentive and accommodating. Full of energy and definitely made our evening a good one. Thanks George!!!!!

A really great place to get a drink, especially with 2 for 1 offers on cocktails, but a word of warning never go here on a weekend past 12 theres always fights as it is the only place open so late.

Colleges of mine were let in, but me as Eastern Europen origin were denied of entry as drunk.The black guys were having the time of the da day, having somebody to look down. I hope this was their best time in their life.

Im not the typical patron of this place - I ended up nipping in on the way home from work and was wearing wellies and a Barbour jacket! Thankfully, I left before all the dolled up crowd arrived as I think this place is more of an Essex-y pre-club cocktail bar. Cocktails were OK. Particularly good gin selection which is more my thing!
