This was a pretty cute place. They carry a higher end of vintage clothing. Everything in there has a date from it’s time (because it’s truly vintage) and is well taken care of. The woman behind the counter was extremely kind and thoughtful but not pushy. I enjoyed browsing the store. :)

A zillion stars is appropriate for Liz and the Xtabay girls (and Guy)! Everything I’ve gotten there is first class, elegant and just as described. I just visited in person and everything exceeded expectations. Xtabay is one of the highest tier of vintage sellers in quality, fairness of price, and beauty. 😍😍

Just so other ladies know: their bridal stuff can be found by appointment at the english dept. Other than that, still the same beautiful little vintage shop with the prettiest stuff around, and prices that reflect that. I never go here because I know Ill find something I love that until recently, I couldnt afford.

Came here to ask the sales staff to look at my dresses and shoes for resale, and I was treated with nothing but disgust and disrespect from the woman in front of the store. I do not remember her name, but she had such a horrible attitude and was so rude to me that it ruined any chance they had of me wanting to buy anything here. Hope someone teaches them something about basic manners.

Very supportive experience with the staff bringing in new dresses I might like when looking for my prom dress, I bought a grey dress for prom thats gorgeous and some earrings. I really loved the store and plan on going back for other dances

I went in to look at vintage wedding dresses, after coming from a horrible experience at another site. My hopes had been dashed, so I didnt really have much excitement for this shop. Wow!! Was I wrong!! They welcomed me into their beautiful bridal salon and gave my bridesmaids and myself mimosas to start off. There was no rushing, I could try on anything and everything I wanted! They were so nice!! I did find my perfect dress and I couldnt be happier! When I went in for a fitting, Erin was so pleasant to work with even though we were a little late for our appointment. I highly recommend this wonderful shop for an awesome wedding experience. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful memory!!

Came here on a whim and ended up trying on 4 wedding gowns that I really liked, and one of them was definitely the one! Got it for less than half the full price as it was a sample which had been discontinued by the English Department. My friend and I had a blast trying things on. Beautiful little shop!

My wife and I came here to find a dress for our sons wedding. The selection is stunning, very high quality and diverse. Very polite and helpful store manager. We will be back!

Vintage bridal, closed on Sunday.

I arrived on a Monday in January which is a month that they are typically closed that day. The shop owner was in tanking care of a few things and opened the door for me and allowed me to shop. She was sweet and attentive. The selection of truly vintage clothing and accessories is exquisite.

Their selection was small and Im not familiar with vintage. Considering they had mink and other furs in nice condition for 140-180 it seemed nice. They even have nice condition dresses, brooches, caps and shoes.

I love this store. The selection of vintage is varied in price and of wonderful quality. The women who work there are incredibly accommodating and go above and beyond to help you find your perfect dress.

Beautiful pieces and styles that make you oooh and ahhh... Jewelry that is superior and classic to complete any look. Although I had my heart set on purchasing a dress, I found the perfect necklace to outfit just about any dress I own.Looking forward to my next visit.

This is my favorite clothing store in Portland mostly because I love vintage clothing and I know that the quality here is excellent. They dont have just any vintage stuff, they have GOOD clothes that you can actually wear places. Also check out their Wedding boutique upstairs!

Wonderful customer service and beautifully edited vintage. I’ve only bought online via the Etsy store and Instagram but I’ve found the service to be friendly and prompt. I also love receiving the beautifully wrapped parcels!!

Xtabay occupies a distinctive niche in Portland vintage and ive been pleased with it. wish they had more stuff you can wear after you get older and fatter, but hey, cant have everything. oh and i wish they wouldnt always catch it if i bring something in to sell and its got a tiny stain. damn. :-)the owner used to work at The Big Bang, which was like the Red Light + new club gear + punk rock + crazy vintage warehouse + things to wear to prom + Magpie. Big Bang was ground zero for pdx vintage goodness, Rays Ragtime was more classic and much smaller, Avalon was highly selective and awesome but with a snooty atmosphere.i think that expertise and breadth of experience shows up in this very carefully curated, focused shop.

I was blown away at the high end vintage options they had. Very nice. It is a bit expensive because they only sell high end vintage clothes.

Liz is an icon in the vintage world. Her taste and eye for vintage is unparalleled.

Im conflicted about this place. I think their selection is awesome but whenever Ive been in, the staff are totally unwelcoming.
