Coolest taphouse in Portland, great variety. I broke my friends glass that we got on vacation and they were nice enough to send me a new one.

Great tap selection with some of my favorites.

This is one of our fav places to get beer and cider, either to drink there or take home. Great selection of cans and bottles as well as a solid tap. They added covered outside seating, which is fabulous given the rainy weather here from Oct to June. Bring your own food from Cicoria pizza, Kati or E-San Thai, or one of the many great restaurants and food carts in the hood.

I always enjoy going into Imperial for the wide selection of draft beers and cider. They also have an extensive collection of bottles that can be enjoyed on site or at home. Theres no food but you can order some from a nearby establishment to enjoy with your beer. Its a great summer spot with outdoor tables too.

They have a bunch of nice tables on a quiet side street off Hawthorne. The tables are cleaned well. Of course the draft beer selection is well curated and interesting, including not-in-bottles brews.

Quaint location on Division St with open/airy ambiance, tables inside and several outside to enjoy the sun?, decent selection of beers on tap (although more IPAs than any other option), and friendly staff. No table service, so dont sit and wait while you could be in line perusing their affordably priced craft brew bottles from around the world. The cocoa cow chocolate stout was my personal favorite. You must find street parking but there is plenty of street parking.The staff is great and the selection is large. You can grab beers to go or open them in the store for a small fee. I recommend bringing a growler.I have been informed that they have seating for 50 on the inside and 50 on the outside.

Amazing food! Went here on our day of tasting Portland. Ordered a meal that was shareable. The music was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable and it was a cool space to enjoy a meal with someone.

Fantastic selection of beers that lean towards the more local side of the spectrum. The pricing was awesome and I was blown away to see how many beers that were from California were being sold way less than I could find them back home. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon so they were not too busy, but I was very impressed by this location. I will definitely be returning next time I visit Portland.

Great spot to grab drinks! Giant windows that open (when weather permits) to the street patio. Bringing IN food is encouraged, and the bar tenders are great. Craft bottles in the back, drafts up front.

Great little bottle shop and taproom. They have many unique beers on tap. Their bottle selection includes a lot of seasonal and small batch beer that is rare to find. Service has always been excellent. Definitely a good place to get a beer you have never had before.

By pure chance, we found this place whilst visiting Portland, when I was looking for a mailbox. Who doesn’t feel like a beer? We popped in and were so happy that we did. The bar men were super friendly and made great recommendations based on the type of beers we liked. There are plenty of draught and bottled options and the grog shop has innumerable varieties to choose from.

Decent selection of beers here. They have about 15-20 different taps. I would have liked to see more IPAs but thats just my opinion. Nice seating area with trendy tables too

Great place to hang out and have a beer! Theres no food though, but theyre super chill if you want to bring your own. Just make sure to clean up after yourselves. They got bottles of brew as well if youre not into what they have on tap!

Really great local bottle shop with excellent offerings and a nice selection of taps. This is a BYO food establishment so you have lots of easy close options to snack on while enjoying a premium pour. The staff and owners are always super helpful and willing to give suggestions on bottles that fit your tastes. They even have a bottle chiller so you can enjoy a bottle right off the shelf.Great people watching with two full walls of glass in a busy area. This is a must-visit stop in Portland for beer/cider lovers.

Imperial Bottle Show & Taproom is a nice and clean compared to many of its competitors; definitely one of my favorites to grab a pint. For to-go growlers and pints they have specialty taps that help keep the beer fresh longer before you get to enjoy it.Pint prices are decent, and you have a selection between pour sizes. Bottle prices are a little expensive and the selection isnt very large.

We travelled to Portland in Spring 2018 and came here two times. We absolutely loved the beer selection, atmosphere, and location. We still talk about Imperial Bottle Shop back home and how much we miss it! Just booked a trip back to Portland in April and we will be back for more beer!**Update: We moved to Portland. And moved to an apartment only a few blocks from Imperial Bottle Shop because it is the BEST.

Great bottle selection. Their draft list is typically 90% beers you cant get bottled. They fill and cap 16oz bottles to go, which is amazing. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. A great addition to SE Portland.

This bar has an open design, with wraparound windows which they leave open when the weathers nice. Awesome draft selection, with a few ciders on tap too. Tons of bottles, and they have one of those rapid chiller machines, so even if you want one of the unrefridgerated bottles they can have it cold for you in a few minutes. Unfortunately closes early (10pm) most nights, open till midnight Friday and Saturday. No food served, but they welcome you to bring your own.

Mellow atmosphere, music wasnt too loud, rustic vibes, enormous beer selection.I got an IPA on tap and it did not disappoint.

Imperial Bottle Shop is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab a beer. Their bottle and draft selection never disappoints you. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I love that they allow you to bring food from other places to enjoy your beer.

We stopped in for a beer while waiting for our table at a nearby restaurant. The gentleman working was very nice and helpful in choosing a delicious beer. Cool little place.

Love this place. Constant rotating taplist with the newest tap technology. The bottle shop is underrated as well, there is always some gems hiding. While they dont serve food aside from beer nuts, you can bring whatever you want into the place and some places will deliver. The owners are some of the better people to know as well

I love this place! Its friendly and has a diverse selection of beers on tap that is always changing. They have an extensive amount of bottled beers as well, with about half of them stored in a refrigerator. I also love the access to public transit and great eateries nearby.

WOW! No wonder this place has received such stellar reviews. If you appreciate a good craft brew, youve got to check this place out! The space is nice and they also play some pretty sweet tunes! Their selection on tap is great, but their bottle and can selection is next level! Ive never seen anything quite like it or as extensive. I will say that I thought it was a bit presumptuous to have the lowest tip that you can select when paying with a card as 20% and that they charge a $1 corking fee when you buy a bottle. However, this wont stop me from going back. An absolute must for any beer lover!!

This is a truly impressive bottle shop with a huge selection of local and hard-to-do find bottles of porters, stouts, ales, ciders, goses, sours, etc. The prices are better than Ive seen at grocery stores (if you can find them. Its also a bar with a rotating tap selection and seating. Also, per the sign, outside food is encouraged.

There are lots of craft beers on tap, many of them you most likely have never tried. If those arent for you, there are many bottle options to take home or drink there. The growler fills are a little pricey but they do allow you to bring food from other places close by. My recommendation: go to the food carts a few blocks south or Bollywood - its in the same building!
