Wonderful toy store with a great selection of fun and unique gifts. Also, the owners are very kind and personable. One of our families’ favorite places to come to buy gifts, or just to browse. Highly recommend!

I could not love hammer and jacks more if I tried. The staff is incredible, the toy selection is fantastic and birthday balloons delivered by a beautiful red van right to my door step? YES PLEASE. I go out of my way to shop at hammer and jacks because I just love them so. They always have a great selection, I always find something new and my kids are always blown away by the fun things I bring home. Would absolutely, without question, recommend.

I love this place! Got toys and gifts delivered to friends’ kids. Talk about bang for your buck! The kids were so excited to get the balloons. I felt like a total hero. Really fun for kids at home during the pandemic. The great activity toys and projects gave their parents a little break too. You guys rock!

H&J is one of our favorite local stores! Theyve been amazing at putting together (and delivering) birthday balloons to friends and family during COVID even with such short notice.

We had our sons first birthday there. It was fantastic, everyone (adults and kids) had so much fun. The set up, balloons and the rest of the decorations were perfect. They made everything so easy. Highly recommend Hammer + Jacks!

This store is absolutely wonderful! Friendly and great service- always willing to offer suggestions for toys and ideas for specific age groups. Love the play area in the back- been taking my little there for their non-walkers period and looking forward to going back with my (now) walker once they reopen!

I love this toy store! Locally owned and well stocked, the staff are super helpful and reasonable prices are all reasons I keep coming back. They have a playroom in the back with regular events to keep kids entertained, I cant heap enough praise on these people.

The ambiance was fantastic. The store welcomed children and families to stop and play. I originally came to attend a birthday party located in the back of the store, not knowing I was walking in a toy store. The party space has tons of different toys ranging from a light table to, wobble boards, a climbing castle and slide, and small toys for building, dramatic play, and rolling around. They offer high quality toys and well designed toys from plan toys, haba, Manhattan toy co, Melissa and Doug. They also have small independently published books following themes from diversity to biology, and regular stories. As a preschool teacher this place is a dream. I cant wait to go back.

Owned by a local momma, H&Js reflects her commitment to finding toys that reflect diversity and creativity. My daughter adores her pink sword, and my son was pretty excited about the the superhero baby doll that looked just like him. Dolls of all ethnicities mingle with the standard toy store fare of animals, science kits, cars, balls, books, baby items, etc. Also features some high quality large motor toys/equipment. There isnt a huge selection - the store is pretty small - but staff will go out of there way to help track down items and make suggestions. Most of the toys seem to be geared to younger kids and babies, but there are a number of games and kits for the older crowd. The play area in the back is also a fun and intimate preschool hangout.

Went for a birthday party and it was awesome. The kids played and then had cake. A variety of things for them to play with and a big slide to crawl over and under.

A delightful little toy store with a play area in the back that has been a lifesaver on rainy days or when an indoor playdate location is needed for our littles. They clearly have a thoughtfully curated collection of toys, and its never a problem to find something we love. They also host birthday parties and events in their play space, making it an engaged, multipurpose business that supports the community.

Nice local toy store. Seems to Target younger kids up to age 8. Lots of crafts and wooden toys. Not your huge brand name toys sold at big box stores. They also have an assortment of balloons that can be filled.

My 3 year old daughter just had her birthday there. It was a blast! We LOVE Hammer and Jacks! Also, to the parents out there, 99% of the toys at Hammer and Jacks DONT use batteries! DONT. USE. BATTERIES.

Great toy shop! Great toys, but its not about just the stuff.... what really makes H&Js next level is the play room in the back and the owner. I can grab my toddler lunch from Henry Higgins next door and let him romp in the play room and make friends, feed him at the picnic tables in there and take him home for nap nice and worn out. I buy the punch card, totally worth it. Its always been really clean too, which I totally appreciate. Yes, you can rent the playroom for Birthday parties (recommended). Its a real asset to the community, thank you!

We have never had a bad experience at Hammer and Jacks! The staff are super helpful and always lead me in the right direction if I’m not sure what to get. We had our 3 year old’s birthday party there. It was so easy and the kids had an amazing time!

Cute you store with lots of toddler toys. The play area in the back with wooden castle is great for the kids to run around in.

Hammer & Jacks toy store is wonderful. But please tell your performers not to use microphones & amplifiers with young children. Volume was too loud today though performers tried to turn volume down. Much better to hear human voice without amplification & lots of distracting noises. Too much stimulation for children under 4 years old. Thank you for listening.

We love the toy selection here. The owners are super helpful and friendly. And my son loves the play area. I love that there are tables right in the play area so I can sit close.

We had a great 5th birthday party for one of our children in the play space here. The owners were helpful and communicative, the space was very clean and has a great castle and a nice toy selection, and the setup is convenient, with music, tables, and a bathroom. It’s also affordable. What a nice local spot!

Infant, Toddler, and younger kids toy store with a play zone in a separate area in the back. You can rent this back room out for private birthday parties as well. The whole store is nicely air-conditioned for hot days.

The toy store in front has a wonderful selection of toys for every age. The play area in the back is awesome! $4, super clean, and great for a range of ages. They even have playtimes for non-walkers! Love this place!

Love this place! my 10 month old had the best time in the play area. it was clean and full of awesome toys to try out, plus she recently learned to crawl and loved exploring the built in fort. the store also has a great selection of toys!

The lady at the counter was absolutely lovely but we went hang out in the play area on a sad rainy day --I had heard amazing things but ultimately was led to disappointment. To break it down, its too small of a space for large children and too advanced of a place for small children. When we were there, there was a variety of children ages 2-7 which is a tough crowd to fit all in one very small space.

Is a cute little place, not sure if you pay to play if youre not buying but I sure pay $7ish for my kiddos to be there we bought a toy and saw the charge, either way we liked it, is close by and cute, hope they clean those toys at the end of the day!

Great kids play space!

Probably the best playplace we have found to be with our toddler. Keep an eye on events, they range from music days, special mornings with coffee and open Q and A with professionals to knowing that someones blocked out time for a birthday party.
