I purchased the pastel dot cardigan, pumpkin and sweet pea hats for my soon to be granddaughter. They are so beautiful and I can just feel the love that was put into their creation. I highly recommend this shop for the quality and super fast delivery. I will definitely be a return shopper.

I was gifted some clothes from here for my baby. They were so well made amd comfortable for her. She has very sensitive skin and nothing here has bothered her so its an extra win for us. Usually store bought sweaters and knit makes her itch/rash but not these. I would highly recommend to anyone with kids to look her for clothes made to last but still look cute and are comfortable. I always tell people with kids to check them out and are also a great baby shower gift place. Looking at their summer stuff now and it looks just as cute and well made at the winter clothes. Will be purchasing a few more pieces soon. Highly recommend!!

I was SO happy to learn that Mako is selling her unique hand-knit sweaters and hats online for the first time ever! My recent online purchase was easy—shipped promptly and arrived within that same week. I have shopped at Mako’s Portland store for 32 years—beginning with the purchase of a sweater vest for my first baby. In the years since, I’ve bought vests, sweaters, and whimsical hats—beautifully hand knit, some with colorful buttons, and all with quality yarns. I’ve bought them for my children, my friends’ children, nieces, nephews, and now for the next generation of children! The yarns are colorful and soft, so the items are as comfortable as they are cute—and they fit well. Beautiful gifts, reasonable prices, and now great online service!

Mako is an awesome and adorable little store. The shopkeeper has always been so kind and accommodating, and the clothing is super high quality. My daughters new jeans fit amazing and will last a while cause they’re kind of long and the elastic waist is a very comfy well made band. They have the tiniest engraved cursive words on one of the rivets, leather logo label on back, etc. The prices are reasonable. My two year old loves it in there. Toys and cute stuff. She loved it in there when she was one also. She’ll love it when she’s three.

I highly recommend shopping at Mako for the most beautiful baby jammies. I’ve never seen them anywhere else but they were the softest beautiful onsies and swaddled blankets that made the baby cuddles even more special. We found the shop when we were gifted a hand knit hat and sweater, knit by the owner. The shop also has a great selection of quality shoes to help your new walker! If you’re looking for quality service as well as quality product, Mako is the place to shop.
