I bought several new cars from Mercedes Benz of Portland prior to my purchase of a Jaguar EV-400 I-Pace. The I-Pace is nice, but Jaguar of Portland has poor customer service. Mercedes used to fall all over themselves to help, the attitude was how can we make this work for you because that is what is important to us, so I was spoiled. At Jaguar, they do not seem the least bit happy to hear from me and the attitude is this is how we do it, so either make it work or we dont care. I am looking forward to when I can buy a new Mercedes EV and say bye bye to Jaguar of Portland.
I am very disappointed in this dealership. I took my E-pace in for service nearly two weeks ago. The windshield was leaking. I dropped it off on a Saturday. On Wednesday I get a text from my Service Technician telling me he would give me an update in the next day or two. Friday morning I had not heard anything from him, so I sent him a text asking for an update. I never heard back from him. So Friday afternoon I call the dealership and ask to speak to him. I had to wait for him to call me back. He told me he would let me know on Tuesday or Wednesday what the status was. So today is Wednesday (late in the day) and guess what...I haven’t heard from him. So I called the dealership and the phone rang and rang and rang - no answer.... So I get in their website site and found a different number to call. So I am told he will call me later and let me know what’s going on. We’ll see... For a luxury car dealership I expected much better service.
The Jaguar brand makes some of the most unreliable cars on the planet. That being said you would think they would make up for it in customer service. Thats not the case. Everytime I deal with this dealership they have an attitude like they are doing me a favor. If I need to ask service a question, they say they will call back and never do. They do not offer loaners even if you are giving your 100k car for service. I am on my second Jaguar and this will be my last. I can see why the company is struggling to compete

We recently purchased a 2020 Jaguar XE, so exciting as Jaguar has been a dream car of mine. We had the pleasure of working with Sal. I started talking to him on the phone weeks before going in, he was always attentive and supportive. I wasnt expecting to get a car when we walked into the dealership (just thinking about a future purchase), but after bringing up leasing with Sal, I was shocked at the deal they offered. If youre interested in a Jaguar (or Land Rover) stop by and see Sal and ask what they can do for you...you too may be surprised...and Sals British accent is a bonus, no extra charge! 🤣😂 So now we have my dream car, a Jaguar, the only problem is, my wife will be the primary driver! 🤷♂️
We had an excellent purchasing experience at Jaguar Portland this week. Although the new facility is a bit daunting, the staff were extremely helpful and easy to work with. Our sales advisor, David Johnson, was knowledgeable, kind and went to bat for us to make sure we got what we wanted. The purchase was fairly straightforward and simple to execute. I appreciated the social distancing and the quick turnaround on the changes we requested. Thank you David for a great experience!
Worst customer service. Takes over 2 weeks to get an service appointment and then they dont get to your car the day of appointment.Report back telling me that the sunroof is not working properly but it was the technician that did not know how it worked!
Had a check engine light on my Jaguar FPace SVR and had to schedule service. Over a month out and I was told just to drive with the light on. No loaner car available to me. Was told since I didnt buy the car there, I was not allowed one. $90k+ vehicle under factory warranty and I had to stand outside the dealership and get picked up in a Prius. Check engine light came on again within a week. Back in fhe shop it went. Not impressed so far...
I am so pleased with Jaguar Portland dealership. Nate was amazing from the first meeting we had to the time I pick up my car. He helped me with customizing my dream car and kept me updated through the process. He made my car shopping experience smooth and stress free. And the new location is so gorgeous. They have a life time customer now!
Very courteous and knowledgeable people. I bought a car without keys and they made me feel good about being a jaguar car owner as they still wouldnt just help anybody out without verifying true ownership.

Worked with Nate Kavan to Order our Range Rover sport diesel and our experience was awesome !! Nate helped us figure out exactly what we needed in our sport and place and order that we are now so happy with. I recently purchased a Jaguar F-Pace here and I should say I got the best car buying experience I have ever had. The vehicle was immaculate and priced right. Nate and Keili are compassionate sales professionals I worked with.Nate answered all my questions whether I contacted him via text message, call, email or in person. He gave incredible service and attention without cheesy or annoying pressure. In his absence for a day Keili was very helpful and accommodating. She walked me through the process in detail, no twisted conversations but clarity on every aspect. I just can’t say enough positive things about my experiences working with Nate and Keili. Just closed the deal on a Jaguar E-Pace (literally). A fantastic car and a fantastic buying experience. Sal is the guy to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive and extremely patient (took 9 months for us to make up our mind). The dealership was clean, accommodating and had great inventory on hand. I came in today to check out some new vehicles. I wasn’t looking to buy, just to see what Jaguar/Land Rover was up to these days.I was very happy to find a sales staff that was happy to show me their vehicles and give me demonstrations on their features. No hassle, just an informative trip around the lot. It was refreshing.I wish more dealerships were like this. And, income willing, I hope to be able to do business with them in the future. :)
Just purchased an F-Pace from Sal @ Portland Jaguar and had an awesome experience. No pressure, very relaxed and friendly. Sal was extremely knowledgeable and spent hours walking us through all the features and technology of the vehicle. I visited a lot of dealerships before deciding (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, etc.) and nothing compared to the F-Pace and no salesman compared to Sal. Thank you!

Having dealt with a few dealerships in Portland/Beaverton, this dealership was the most satisfying to work with. The gentleman I worked with (Damon) was very professional and helpful in my search for a new car. Albeit only a few weeks, Ive been very satisfied and love my new vehicle.
These are the cheapest people on the planet.. They order extremely large orders from my store and wont tip a single dollar. By them working in customer service for commission, you would THINK that they would show better tipping skills.
Ive owned many high-end cars in my 50yrs and this dealership is great to work with. Professional without the arrogance and pretense. Cant say that for the Porsche or Ferrari dealerships in Portland. These people treated me very well and Im glad I now own my Jag F-Type R!

I live in a very small town on the California coast. This was my first online car purchase. I was not treated kindly from Jaguar Tampa Florida nor Jaguar Sacramento. When I looked up Jaguar Portland they had the exact car I wanted. Sal contacted me that day. If youre doing an online purchase I would definitely go with Jaguar Portland. I put $2,000 down to hold the car I did not want to lose it! Sal has the same car I purchased so he knew it very well. He spent time going through all the bells and whistles on the car. Like he said Im not buying a car Im buying a computer and thats the truth! But you know you have a car underneath you when you drive this... The XFS is a total beauty...Thank you so much Sal. One of the best Dealerships to do business with. I’ve bought two cars from Sal, F type and F pace. Both experiences were great. Sal made a point to have all of the paper work done when I came back to purchase both times. Sal was very patient to make sure we knew how to use the cars at delivery. Sal also continues to call and follow up to make sure everything is going good. I bought my first car from him over two years ago, and Sal would call me every six months.

I HATE pressure sales and dealer games more than sin itself. The staff was mildly over-friendly but generally professional. My sales rep Sal Afzal was very efficient and not the typical luxury car salesman kiss ass. Ask for him specifically though because I have reservations about some of the others I spoke to briefly.
What a great experience we’ve had at this dealership... we bought the car of our dream from this store. Thanks to all the staff members and particularly the salesperson (Sal Afzal) who helped us all the way to the end by understanding our specifications and working with us for 2 solid days to get the best deal and the best car that we felt connected towards. No haggling no twisted conversations and top notch clarity on every aspect of car buying. It’s true that good cars can sell themselves but at the same time good car buying experience also comes from knowledgeable dealers who shares unbiased views and unparallel motivation and gears one in towards the right car and the dream car.

Wow, talk about a breath of fresh air and so completely unexpected after our prior experiences. My husband wanted to check out a car at this dealership, and from our previous experiences I had such low expectations that he barely got me over there. to give examples, our sales person at Landmark Ford had told us, I think we are done with test drives for today and we were looking at the MKS and MKZ....seriously? We had been repeat customers here buying a 350 Ford dually and other cars over the years. We were over at Dick Hannah and asked if they could move on the price of a car and just got a flat out, no. We looked at the E series mercedes and, although, courteous, not even offered a drink. Sal, at Monte Shelton, was more than courteous from the start, and I was standing around in holey shorts, a t-shirt and beat-up tennis shoes. He got us specialty coffee, bottled water, was consistently personable and realized he was dealing with a person who actually wanted to spend money on a car...and we werent buying a new jag, we were buying a used jag. Im sold. Obviously, the cars are really comfortable and gorgeous, but there are other luxury cars out there that are comfortable and gorgeous. It was the customer service that finished the deal. My husband and I are just so tired of crappy, inconsistent customer service with people who dont work together and dont get things done or are just plain rude. That was not our experience here. Thanks Sal. To make matters even better, my husband asked them to look out for another used jag, and if it comes in the lot, to give him a call.

Horrible service dept, dropped off my xe the DAY before so it could be serviced the next day and be completed no problem, to only call in before closing to see status: her response? Your car wasnt worked on at all today and our service manager is gone What a joke. Believe all the negative reviews, take your vehicle somewhere else for service. You expect a luxury experience for the price of the car/model, but you get worse service than a jiffy lube
So I went with my friend to pick up her car after bringing it in two days prior for an oil change (brought it in on the 18th, didn’t get it back until the 20th). They claimed there were a couple other problems they found and had to fix, one of them being debris they needed to clean out (ended up just being pollen). When my friend tried to argue the charges and the late service, they dismissed her until they couldn’t anymore. When she was trying to take her vehicle off the lot, another employee was backing up a vehicle in front of her car, to which she demanded they move (he laughed and got out of the car without moving it). Not long after, two of the male employees surrounded her, telling her to stop swearing because there were young girls around (because a woman standing up for herself is the worse thing those girls could witness), and essentially turned her into the villain when all she wanted was an oil change and to have her car back. When she was finally about to leave, they told her, “Don’t come back,” .....

This dealership has the worst service department. It took three weeks to get in for service and so far two weeks to get to my car. I have an F Pace. This is the third time in a year it has been in with issues and everytime it takes them a long time plus the don’t give you updates about your car.i reccomnend going to Kuni BMW their service is stellar!
Absolutely no service on a Tuesday afternoon. I came into the completely empty parts office and after 20 minutes of calling all the numbers and getting no answer I finally left! Huge let down.
I arrived home after a trip and found that my Jaguar XKR had a dead battery. Confident that the battery was dead simply from the computer drain during non use, I called Jaguar Portland, who had purchased the dealership from Shelton, to ask how to open the electric trunk. The battery is in the trunk. I called and was told, No, you cannot speak with a technician, the service manager will return your call. I left messages for 2 days, then when I called again to ask the receptionist to ask how to open the trunk for me, the response was He said to have the car towed in and we will find a way to open the trunk. YouTube had a video on an emergency key location. Overnight on a charger and the battery is good now after a couple months.This attempt at generating an unnecessary tow and several hundred dollars in repair fees (minimum diagnostic fee, charge the battery, etc) is an example of the very worst rip off service that surround this dealer per all I know that have dealt with this dealership.

Different type of experience, but a great look at Monte! I am from Ohio and was looking for a rare car on the internet. The car I found was in the Portland area and I didnt want to travel all the way there until I was sure the web description was accurate. Monte was refered to me thru an appraiser and the local car club. I called the dealership and left a message for Monte. He called me back shortly and I explained I needed an experts help in looking at a car that wasnt at his dealership. He did everything he could to help an out of town person, whom he had never met or spoken to before in his life, and wasnt even buying a car from him. He called me back a couple of times with infomation on the car from the research he had done for me. It turned out to be a scam and Monte saved me a lot of time, trouble, and money. Monte is a true gentleman and I can recommend him to anyone after my experience! Thanks Monte!
I was totally disappointed about Jaguar service.. i thought when you pay so much money for the car you cover not only the car but at least good attitude when servicing your car! I brought my XF for oil change and some issues with rear speaker, finnally after 5 hours they did oil change and asked me to show again whats the problem with speaker!! they promised me to call next day for a price for new speaker, 2 weeks has passed and still no calls! unprofessional!!
