I had a Picasso print that was purchased at an estate sale years ago and I do not know anything about art. I searched online and could not find anyone that would or could give me more info about it without attempting to get me to subscribe, sign up or pay for an appraisal. I came across Gary Germer and Associates website by chance and they politely informed me that this print was of no significant value, the same day that I uploaded it with their free spot check option on the website. You won’t find an easier and more pleasant company to work with to get some ballpark valuations of your antiques. I submitted my pictures online and within 24hrs I had an e-mail with ballpark values of paintings that have been handed down from previous generations. Just a real nice company to work with. Unfortunately, Mr. Germer made it very clear that I’m not to quit my day job if my retirement was contingent upon the values of my painting... lol.... So to work I go.I highly recommend them - great folks with great sense of humors!

We go to lots of estate sales Gary Germer’s sales are always heads above the rest. It is a joy just to see everything. Gary has a real respect and almost reverence for people’s belongings. Everything is so beautifully displayed. His staff is always helpful and friendly and if you are a regular customer and they know your taste they always make sure you don’t miss something you may like. Gary has an endless source of knowledge that is only matched by his wonderful sense of humor. We always leave his sales laughing and with something unique for our home. We never miss a sale!!!!!

Gery Germers estate sales are incredible, impressive, and hosted at some of the most beautiful homes in Portland. I always find incredible treasures and am impressed with his professionalism. This is definitely not one of those bottom-of-the-barrel everything must go kinds of sales. They are pretty class affairs. I will definitely retain him for my parents estate sale when they are ready to downgrade.
