Ill start with 2 yrs ago my wifes glass roof exploded on her car while driving down any empty highway. Ford wouldnt cover it. I paid to have it repaired. When I picked up the vehicle glass was everywhere in the back seat, and I had a new scratch on the roof from the install. Told the dealership about it they gave me a paint marker. Well two days ago the same said glass exploded while driving down an empty flat highway again! Called the dealership, was told they couldnt help me. Ask to speak to a manager, said they were in a meeting. They asked if I would like to have a manager call me back I said yes but no return ever came. This vehicle has hundreds of reports of this issue still no recall. Its legitimate. I left a message for a manager to call.

I normally don’t do these but I recently had to bring my truck in because of the check engine light on. Mind you I am here working but from Out of state. My truck ended up having serious issues and ended up being in the shop for about a week and a half. Mr. Isaac seen me and assured me he would take care of me and my vehicle. He did just that! Throughout the entire process he communicated with me and gave me updates whether it was via phone call, text, or email. We went to see Kevin. Car was waiting up front for us when we got there. Was super clean and ready to go. Both Kevin and Luke (in finance) were no nonsense. We got the number we needed. We had a really great experience. No pressure. Drove 2 hours out of the way to do business here and definitely don’t regret it.
After purchasing a 70k truck we had tires and a leveling kit added. They promised it would be done Wednesday then I got a text letting me know it wouldn’t be worked on until the next day. I was then told it would be ready by noon the next day. I was not updated unless I text my sales associate who seemed to be all to comfortable with his position and disregarded that life outside of the sales floor exists. His texts were always short and seemed all to ready to pawn us off. When I finally got the text to pick up the truck it was after 4 pm FRIDAY and pouring outside. My son had the flu so I was driving to the dealership with a child throwing up in the back seat and upon arrival had to move belongings in the pouring rain while the sales associate, Ruben, went back inside. It was clear he made his “sale” and was washing his hands. A demonstration of the vehicle and its features/ functions/ benefits were never provided.The management team are intelligent and seem to be customer advocates, which is the only plus about this experience. They respond quickly to any issues that arose during/ after the transaction. Luke and Ami were pleasant to deal with and professional.At the end of the day, a buyers time and not over promising and under delivering should be a sales associates first priority.

I recently called Mac Hyak Ford in Victoria for a service appointment. The woman I spoke to wasnt very friendly and told me they wouldnt replace the engine shield under the truck because I must have hit something. She also told me that they were very busy and I had to leave my truck with them for several days before they could look at it. I asked about a loaner and was told they were all loaned out. I decided to call Port LaVaca Ford. I was given an appointment the next day. My plan was to leave the truck with them but they said I should wait - they would have it done in an hour! They were incredibly nice and fixed all of my issues (including the engine shield covered under my bumper to bumper). I was back in my truck an hour later like they said. I highly recommend you give them a call!!
I get my new Ford serviced here. They are all pro and dont pressure you into up selling a service package but still recommend what your vehicle is scheduled to have per the manufacturer recommendation. Call ahead they are consistently booked solid. They are real professionals
A great place for exercise because all you get is the run around. I dropped my truck off for service and was told it needed a new engine... My engine was under warranty but they told me it was not covered. I took the truck to another dealership and they replaced the engine under warranty.
We drove an hour and a half to Port Lavaca Ford to have our truck serviced and not only were the service people helpful in diagnosing and repairing our truck, I drove back the next day and ended up purchasing another brand new 2019. Hands down best experience and will only be using this dealership for any future needs. Jacob in sales is the BEST!!!

I understand that a repair may take up to a few days and you cannot guarantee a date. I was just asking about a check engine light to see what repairs my vehicle will require. However i was told that my vehicle wouldnt even get looked at until the next day and that i needed to drop it off. Dont worry i took it to Victoria at the ford dealership and they took care of it.
I am an aggressive buyer (not to be confused with a-hole), Ive never once made a friend in the car business. However because of unfortunate circumstances (my car flooded in the recent Houston floods), I was forced to be at a more vulnerable position of buying. Id checked several dealerships to find the truck I wanted and had a VERY good idea what the price needed to be and they accommodated the price of a new Ford with zero effort on my end. They came below the low end of the range I intended to pay with more features than I originally wanted. You wont go wrong here, theres not a single person at this dealership I wouldnt trust, and Im probably the hardest customer to impress.
Went in to take a look at the new F-150 King Ranch edition and I told myself I wasn’t making any purchases. Boy was I wrong. I left the dealership in my new truck and I couldn’t have made a better decision with the price they gave me.
This is the only place Ill go to buy a car! Every time I get a new vehicle I leave feeling like I actually got a deal and didnt get ripped off! Everyone in the office is accommodating, professional and extremely courteous! Ask for Luke or Jacob and I promise you wont be disappointed.
It is a shame there is not a negative amount we can put. Laura Soto is the absolute worst at what she doesnt do. We were told the deal is done come sign and decide what payments you want. Text her as we are on our way and she acts as if all is well. We drive the 85 miles get there and they have no idea what we are talking about and they try to call Laura and she wont answer. Then come to find out the truck was sold. Total waste of time and personal consideration.
These folks here are amazing when it comes to servicing the warranty work on my 2017 f350. I dont live here nor did I but the truck here. But they have be the most helpful and answer my questions better then any ford dealer Ive ever dealt with. If I could have bought my truck off them I would have.
Awesome place to look for a ford, i took my 2011 f250 king ranch with 155,000 miles for a trade in. Mark the salesman was very proffesional and got me a good deal on a 2013 f350 dually with only 66,000 miles. My monthly payments are very affordable and they even installed new floor mats from weather guard front and back. Next time that i am looking for a vehicle, i will come back. Did i mentioned they gave me power train warranty till i hit 120,000. Mark Herrera, your the best and thank you for helping us.

I had some real issues with my truck and she took care of them with dignity and respect, even though I was coming from another Ford dealer that had done the worst service imaginable. These guys bring out the bad in car buying. Adding in things like scotch guard on the seats, window etching, and an invisible under coating added a quick $1200 on to my price tag. Watch those numbers if you go here
I bought my 2012 Ford Expedition from Port Lavaca Ford. I love it! The service I got was awesome and the people were phenomenal. My salesman was Kevin Henderson and he took the time to give me a great deal, go over all the features and benefits of SYNC, and they filled my tank up before I left . These guys are great.
My only problem with ford is one certain service writer who can’t stop talking long enough to listen and even after I lose patience with this person who then tells me that he doesn’t want my money. Last time I checked that’s Ben’s dealership. I’m happy to take my business elsewhere since my money is no good there.
Sales person worked with us diligently to identify the specific car we wanted and expedited the trade-in purchase process, getting us out of there with our new vehicle in record time! Remember that old saying, Service after the sale? Well, you wont find it here....After buying a vehicle from Jacob Price with Port Lavaca Ford on August the 6th of this year, we have heard neither hide nor hair from him regarding a spare key and automotive manual, which he assured me he would do as quickly as possible....Well its been well over a month and I am still waiting....My calls to him go unanswered and unreturned....I even called Victory Nissan in Victoria just to better understand the delay in acquiring a spare key. I was told I could pick it the same day....Go figure....We never haggled over the price they asked or tried to negotiate anything extra. We paid the price they asked....And this is how we are treated....He/they have had ample time to fulfill their obligation and make good on their word. But they have chosen not to....I guess they expect us to pay for the spare key and manual....They have essentially committed a Pontius Pilate and have washed their hands of us....It is my understanding that all the dealerships in Port Lavaca are owned by the same owner...I urge anyone considering buying a car from these people to use better judgement than I did and buy somewhere else....Some place reputable. And not one of ill-repute like this one....Should the owner or GM of this dealership read this article and find fault with it, then please feel free to contact me....Otherwise, I stand by it....
I was recommended to visit Port Lavaca Ford (over 400 miles from where I live), I visited the dealership on a very wet Saturday afternoon and met with a sales person who was also highly recommended, Felipe Martinez. I returned to the dealership the following Monday and collected the truck. This was by far the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had from initial contact through running through all my financial options with the Financial Director Steven Kalinec. Do not be deceived by the construction and older building, this is a first class operation with first class talent. More Fords may be in my future, if they are, I will definitely make the trip.

If i could leave negative reviews I would! We were lead on and lied to for over a month with our vehicle. We purchased a ford f250 on 12/21/18. Our sales person Brandon told us that the vehicle did not have an oil leak and the oil under the truck was from the oil change that they did on the truck when it was inspected. Right before we sat down with financing we were told the truck did indeed have an oil leak and a crack in the windshield that would be fixed and ready for pick up on 12/26. After we signed papers and dropped 57K on this vehicle, we had to stand around and wait for our sales guy Brandon to return and we were rushed out of the dealership very rudely. 12/26 rolls around and our vehicle was not completed and had not even been started on like we had been told multiple times before. After going back and forth with with sales manager Luke Bodie, we finally got in touch with the service department and were told it would not be completed until 12/31 and the wind shield would have to be replaced at a different time. Our vehicle was never cleaned, had sand and mud from the workers inside the vehicle and hand prints all over the side of the truck, so we know it was never cleaned after we purchased it. When we got home we noticed wires hanging from the underside of the truck, and when my fiancé crawled under he found a live homemade wiring harness out of cut up extension cords and other random wires that was ran into the bed of the truck. We attempted to contact the dealership to no avail since the truck was suppose to be put through an inspection (which it obviously wasnt since a homemade wiring harness was found ran and connected to the battery of the vehicle). The windshield guy showed up to our house two weeks later and we found out the dealership had told the repair man that we purchased a 2016 f150, so we had to wait another week for the windshield to be put in. We contacted the dealership about our license plates as well and on three separate occasions, Brandon was suppose to deliver our plates as well as our loan paperwork that we had still not received. Just do yourself a favor and AVOID this dealership at all costs. They only care about money, not about customer service. Ive reported this dealership to every possible site. So hopefully I save someone the trouble.

Kevin is definitely great at his job. Ami made the paper signing process less boring for sure . The only issues I had is the tires look awful. Ive had car lots replace them when the didnt look near that bad! And they did a bad job of detailing the exterior. Had to bring it back the next day. Also had a small leak that was promptly fixed after the test drive ( probably should do these things before putting up for sale) if youre going to pay $30000 plus new or used it needs to be perfect and you should be proud to call it yours! We are definitely after it was taken care of!

Terrible Experience. My Transit Connect was purchased new from Port Lavaca Ford in 2015, so I took it to them when it started running bad and experiencing a loss of power during acceleration. Also having problem with a moldy odor coming from the A/C vents when it’s first turned on so I suspect it’s not draining properly which is causing the odor. There’s also a recall on the side door latches so I asked the service department to fix all 3 issues. I dropped off the van off on July 17, 2018 and they had it for 3 days diagnosing the engine problem. Isaac with the service department stated they needed to order parts which wouldn’t arrive until the following week. Isaac stated the A/C was “draining as it was designed to” and couldn’t find any problems with it. He recommended I change the cabin air filter and have the A/C system deodorized. I told him the cabin air filter was just changed at the last oil change service and I didn’t believe the A/C system was draining properly.I picked up the van on July 19 since there was a wait on parts needed for the repairs. When I got in the van the cabin air filter and door was laying on the passenger floor because their service tech never reinstalled it after he took them off.Isaac called on July 24 to schedule the work to be done on July 26. I dropped off the vehicle as scheduled and told Isaac about the parts laying on the floor and again expressed my concerns about the A/C system. Isaac called on August 1st and said the work was completed and ready to be picked up. We discussed the A/C issue again and Isaac again recommended I replace the cabin air filter and have the system deodorized. Something I’ve never had to do to any of the vehicles I have owed over the past 36 years.The engine still has a loss of power and idles rough. The A/C still has the moldy odor, and they never replaced the inner shield behind the door panels after replacing the latches. Isaac stated to me that he got with their parts department and the service manager about the shields. He then told me that the shields were a onetime use and were for assembly purposes only, and the shields were not available for purchase from Ford. I didn’t believe him so I called another dealership and asked if the shields were available. That parts guy looked it up and said the shields were available and provided me with the part numbers and cost. Now I am upset because Isaac’s statement wasn’t truthful.I went to Port Lavaca Ford and spoke with the dealership manager about the issues I was having. He directed us to Steve the service manager. After speaking with Steve he said hed make things right. Left the van with them and they delivered the van to me on August 2 in the evening, the driver handed me some paperwork and went on his way. The following morning I get in van to move it over so mom could get her car out of the garage. When I started the van, the A/C was on and still had the moldy odor and the engine was idling rough. I didn’t know but my mom had left a negative review on Port Lavaca Ford’s Facebook page after I had told her that the van was not fixed.Steve called several minutes later about the negative review and seemed more concerned about the 1 star rating then he was about the issues with the van. He said he wanted the review removed and I told him I had nothing to do with it and he needed to take that up with my mom. Steve said he deserved a better rating because he comped me on the A/C deodorizing and the $100 warranty deductible. The invoice the driver handed me showed I owed Port Lavaca $100, and nothing about performing any deodorizing service. It just states I told them that the A/C had an “ugly swamp smell” which is not the words I used. I said “moldy mildew smell coming from the A/C when it’s first turned on.I told Steve I needed to test drive the van but did state the engine is idling rough and A/C still had moldy odor, and would call him after I test drove it. Engine still has loss of power. I called Steve afterwards but he was in a meeting so I left a message. Steve hasn’t returned my call.

Live in corpus so decided to make the almost 2 hour drive for a great price advertised for a vehicle. Even had talked to a sales person that assured me they could get an even better price and they could beat the trade in value of my vehicle from another dealership. When I got there the saleswoman pawned me off on another guy. Couldnt even find the keys to the vehicle I went down there to see. What made things worse is that the advertised price on the website was conditional without a clear explanation of that. The salesman then said something very odd to me. I dont want you to think we lied to you to come here makes me think hes dealt with this a few time. Ive bought many vehicles before. You start out low they start out high and you meet somewhere in the middle. I started low they said they couldnt do that and said I wanted too much car. They didnt even try to find me a different lender (I had already been preapproved through my bank and said I wanted to see the options. At this point I just told them I was leaving. I wasnt going to beg them to sell me a car. The salesman gave me back the keys to my trade didnt tell me bye or thank you for the time because while handing the keys he was already talking to other customers walking in and said he would help them. Horrible experience do not ever reccomend

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My husband bought a 2014 bran-new 5.0 mustang from Port Lavaca Ford. Not even a month later it had to go to the shop for a water leak. They had the vehicle for a whole month. We would call and they would never call us back. After we finally got the car back the water leak had not been fixed and had to take it in again. After we got it back the second time they messed up the wiring so back to the shop to fix the wiring. After we got it back then it had a mysterious oil leak. We took the car back yet again to get the oil fixed and didnt susseed. We spoke to me GM and the manager over the service department and they have us a $400 voucher to use in the service department, but still didnt fix the oil leak. Having to look into this matter furter to see what can be done and WE HAVENT EVEN HAD THE CAR A YEAR!!! Never ever will I go back to Port Lavaca Ford for anything.
Had an appointment to get my oil changed and still had to wait over an hour for them to begin working on it. They wouldnt give me a loaner vehicle so I was late getting back to work. Do not get your vehicle serviced here unless you have all day.

I was given a price by email and salesman Bryan Ansom said he guarantee it, I drove to dealership and 2 hours later and chased him down 3 different times and price went up over 3 thousand dollars and I was never told who was going to finance and couldnt even get a percentage rate from him. I spoke with a sales person for a week about trading in my vehicle on a new truck. Was quoated a price on my trade was told they would go up in value omce the truck was seen in person.. was also told they would come down off the value of the truck i was interested in. I DROVE 4 HOURS to do this deal.. get there and they wouldnt go anylower than $3,000 above the price of their vehicles listed prices on their website. Basically if your gonna buy from them... add 3 grand to the price they promise you and thats the true deal theyll give you. Very dissappointed in the sales personel as well rude and unwilling to work with you at all in person.. but over the phone theyll say anything to get you in the door. LIES and crooked deals is all youll get here.

This place blows .. if they sound like they helping they not that one black dude really suckered my girlfriend to getting a car and told her to go back a year later to up grade they wouldnt take it back because it was not even worth for what the sold it to her for . Beware of Kelvin hes a fake @$$ #*&. And still having problems with the car took it back 2 times for the same thing its starting to mess up again but we not ever going there again

Not a all happy. My wife and I bought two 2014 4x4 F250 Diesel trucks last year on the same day, one for wife and one for myself.My wifes truck has had several issues, the first repair experience with PL Ford was that they fail to notify my wife when the work was complete, who knows how soon she could have left the waiting area, she discovered her truck in the lot without being told. Another issue we took the truck to another dealer, all went well. Another problem came up, PL Ford said they dont know what the problem was, it has a problem, the battery drains if you dont drive the truck every day. Again, they failed to notify her when the work is complete, she again discovered her truck in the lot.I called the General Manager Stephen no less then 8 times, leaving a voice mail and the receptionist left a written message. Its been four days, havent heard from him.Very disappointed with Port Lavaca Ford.
