Called on July 6 & 7 to get paperwork on workthat was completed on my truck (computer problems) gave my email nothing as of today. Called on July 22, 2021 for a oil change and had to leave a message no call back. Called again today at 11 am, was told no opening for the weekend. Also ask for my paperwork gave my email again still nothing. Is this how you run a business. I will be talking with the General Manager your customer service is Terrible worst ever.

I would like to say, how awesome the experience we had yesterday when purchasing our new car for the family. The front desk clerk listened to what I said and gave us a salesmen with lots of experience. His name was Nick Davila he was fast sufficient and knew how to take care of our needs for a new car. He listened to everything we said and got us into our new 2018 Dodge Journey. All in a few hours without stress. Another big thanks to Finance department especially Mike Dixon for making the paperwork easy and explaining everything and lowering our payments to get us the best deal thanks so much to everyone who helped us yesterday. We are both veterans and we where treated excellent yesterday and we got to use the discounts that they advertised because of it.

The owners must tell them to make sure they go above and beyond to make sure your satisfied. I dont do reviews to often, but this, honey, this horrific lack of business ethics and customer satisfaction was deplorable at best. Please, take just a moment to read my experience in my letter. Please read just a few of the many negative Google reviews here as well to help expedite your search to AVOID this dealership. Take note of my husband, John Williss, review and the response they gave him. Their response not only avoided addressing the issues he mentioned, but also proceeded to claim his statements were opinions and not fact. Let me be clear PL Dodge, if you want receipts, if you want proof (even though I have already emailed this same letter with all the proof to the dealership, Louis Tran, and some lady floor manager) I will STILL be happy to show you. You are disgusting, and you can bet your rear, this same info went up on Twitter, Facebook, and sent to Dodge RAM corporate including screenshots, emails and text messages. Horrible staff and crew... A true reflection of management. Had a employee (saleman) start cursing during our conversation over the phone about purchasing a truck. He treated me as if we were joking around and having a few beers.... When I spoke to his manager he simply played it off and said he would have to review the tape since it was recorded.... He said once he reviewed it that he would get back to me to appoligisze.... Still waiting!!!!!

I will start by saying my husband and I do a lot of homework before we ever set foot in any dealership on vehicles. We were starting our search for a larger vehicle that was better suited for a family of four and filled out a form to get the best price in vehicles for having a Sams club membership. We immediately were contacted by about 5 dealers, out of all the dealers Chelsea in customer relations was the only one of the five to answer my questions first and then request for me to come in and check out vehicles second. It was refreshing to see her concern for what my husband and I were looking for before selling us something we didnt need or want. We went in the next day with a no pressure just wanted to test drive attitude and she set us up with Horace. Horace treated us immediately like family, to include my husband and my daughter in many many long talks and tangents each time we went in. He set us up with two test drives that day, we fell in love with one and sent us home to think about what we wanted. We went back the next day to discussed budgeting. Of course the one we loved was just a bit out of our range so Horace and Angel the sales manager worked really hard to find us another car on the lot that worked, they even brought over a car for us! Im pretty sure I am one of the most picky people that this dealership has come across all things considered I had to test drive every single vehicle and go home every night only to call Horace the next day and go in to find another. In the end Horace and Angel made our dreams come true with a vehicle we both love. Mike was extremely helpful with paperwork and was very clear with financing and options we had. I will go back over and over to this dealership just for Horace even though Im a little afraid hes gonna retire before its time for another vehicle. So if you are looking for a new car and really want an incredible salesman go find Horace and work with the entire team at Port Lavaca. They made magic happen for us with an experience we wouldnt trade no matter how stressful the entire car buying experience was.

I dealt with their service department, 3 recalls and an a/c repair. I was satisfied. They communicated with me. Explain the problem and quoted me an estimated cost. When I paid, their was no surprises. Pricey but that’s expected from a dealership. They identified the problem and fixed it, and that’s what counts. I have never seen such a lazy unmotivated dealership in my life. We went in there about used minivan. After two hours the salesman still could not come up with numbers. So we left and he said he would give us a call back with the numbers. The next day we stopped in there before we headed to Houston to look at some other ones. He still did not have numbers. What he did have was the online price, which we already knew.None of the staff was overly to do much of anything. No one even greeted us when we were looking at the vehicles, we had to go and track someone down. The salesman would only look at and talk to my husband when he spoke. Add to that half the time he was more interested in his phone than even talking to my husband.If there after sales service is as bad as there sales service- BEWaRE

This is the first car lot where we werent meet at the car lot by a salesman. I had to actually go inside and ask the receptionist to find me a salesman to help me. She couldnt hear me at first because of the blaring R&B music coming from the computer. Dont get me wrong I love R&B music but you should be able to great your customers without them raising their voice. We were interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Hemi. There wasnt one in the lot so instead the salesman tried to convince us to just get a V6 one. After repeatedly telling him no the salesman said he would call after he gets one from the sister lot. Still waiting on the call going on 2 weeks now.

I went to buy a used Dodge 2500 diesel. I worked with Bart the sales guy and he was awesome. Dealing with Jerry in the finance department was not awesome. Now I know there are two sides to every story but I called Bart at about noon and told him what I wanted to pay and what I wanted on the truck and he said that should be doable I came in and sat down everything started looking good there any more numbers around with my crap my wifes credit and they told us okay after you know if you hours of haggling they told us ok we have everything you need time to go sign. When we went into the finance office they put the paper in front of us and that number was way off after we dispatch many hours there we finally got upset and walked out. They came back and finally were able to do the deal that we had requested from the beginning and if they werent able to do it from the beginning that is fine that should have just said sorry we cant make that happen but no they strung him along for many hours and it was upsetting. The price of the vehicle online and what they told me when we got there were two different prices......nearly a $4,000 difference. They told me oh sorry that price online was wrong I said I dont care thats the price you advertise thats my starting negotiating price. It is not my fault that they put the price online incorrectly. I cant say for sure if I would ever go back again I guess I can always give somebody a second chance. Like I said Bart was great and even the two or three other sales people we spoke to were friendly and really nice too. I would just have to say that my experience was horrible when it came to dealing with Jerry in the finance department. Your experience may be different from mine.

I called for oil change and had the reservation. They knew my car needs what kind of oil. However, on the service day, I waited for 2 hours to complete oil change and tire rotation, which should be completed within an hour as I have reservation. They told me they were just out of stock and needed to restock. Also, on the receipt they indicated they checked tire pressure. Apparently not, I knew my tire pressures were and they didnt adjust it appropriately (they did rotate tires as my tire frame has mark I know). They didnt do this simple thing and Ill doubt the quality of other services they provide.Dont know how to reply so updating it here.Do you keep 4 tires at the same pressure? I follow factory recommendation so I know the technician didnt adjust pressure.

I wish I could give 5 stars. But, 5 stars are reserved for 5 star service. I bought a brand new Ram last year. Buying was easy and we did so sight unseen. The reason for the three stars is two fold. 1. When we were leaving they lost the key FOB. They shipped it to us, but then wouldnt pay to have it programmed. Really? New vehicle, you lose the FOB, then I have to pay? Then, they offered to give me $200 off my next new vehicle purchase? Um, no thanks. 2. Big old scratch across our new vehicle that isnt 100% able to buff out. Not impressed.

Ive been all over the states with my jobs, and every diesel oil change and fuel filter done has ranged from $285 to $350. Last Friday I came to Port lavaca Dodge dealership and they charged me $501 and turns out they were double dipping ( only extra thing done was replacing wipers $24), after I reviewed my past receipts. After I left that place, I received a call from customer service and I told that lady wat happened, she said she would look into it and fix it, but she never called back. So that place left me with a real bad taste... I do not and I strongly recommend not to do your diesel oil/fuel filter changes at this double dipping dealership !!!!

I drove 3 and half hours to visit Port Lavaca Dodge and extremely disappointed with the service my wife and I received. We made the long trek from San Antonio to pick up a Ram dually that was listed on their website 40690, which was a good deal for the truck. Since Im in the military, I was also able to get USAA to give me a no haggle pricing using their car buying service at the same price. With these two seperate assurances, I was shocked when the the salesman quoted me 3,000 more if I didnt finace through Chrysler-Dodge, and a non-negotiable 1000 more than their listed price because I did not have a trade in. This is an unacceptable business practice and if there is conditional discounts/rebates this should be spelled out plainly at least on their website. These caveats appeared no where on their site or on the USAA site. This seems legally dubious and morally reprehensible for a business.The dealership was quick to change the price on their website the following day to 45,576. Which makes me believe the first price may have been entered wrong. If they accidentally posted the wrong price I would have preferred them to be honest and upfront instead of making up lies and trying to make my wife and I feel like we made the mistake. Additionally, if the price was in error it could have been caught in the dozen interactions through text, emails and calls before I drove a 300 mile round trip.From my experience, I wouldnt recommend Port Lavaca for your vehicle and would suggest you find a place that is both reputable and respectful.My wife has since submitted complaint letters to Port Lavaca management and USAA.RESPONSE TO OWNER/UPDATE: It is pretty clear based on the owners response that the rot in this dealership begins at the top. I have emails, pictures and facts that shows they were trying to pull a bait and switch. It is disgusting that when TrueCar (they run the USAA program) questions you, you will admit a mistake (screenshot attached), but cant say that here. Additionally,Im no longer willing to believe this was a mistake. Looking just in Google reviews there are three other people saying you have applied this shady tactic before (all screenshot). The only benefit is now TrueCar says they will monitor you, so maybe it can cut into that market share. FYI, I screenshot your response below because I dont expect you to have the integrity to not change it when you clearly realize this is one lie you cant sell.

If i could put zero stars i would. Purchasing our vehicle was an all day, exhausting event. I put 1000 down and had more, but the salesman advised against it. I ended up with a 513 car payment, 18% interest rate, and a bottom of the line vehicle for a top of the line price. I have paperwork that shows all of the extras that are supposed to be on the car, that arent. On a 2014 vehicle the transmission is already slipping, the dashboard is warped, and the middle console has a broken button. Its not the vehicle i wanted, but i settled for less. Took it to a local dodge dealership with a good reputation and even they noticed how badly i was overcharged and ripped off. Read the reviews for this place and beware. Im sol, but i hope that this review can save someone else from the mistakes myself and others have made. You WILL be overcharged and lied to if you come to this dealership.

My husband uses his truck for work, and several months ago we started having problems with it. We needed it fixed ASAP in order for him to get back to work. It was a Thursday and I called the closest dealership, Lithia in Corpus, and they said they wouldnt be able to even look at it until the following Wednesday. So I called Port Lavaca Dodge. They told me to bring it that day, and they would do their best to get it looked at. Long story short, the truck was up and running good as new by the following Wednesday. Thats why we continue to drive the extra hour to Port Lavaca to have both our trucks serviced there.

Bought a slightly used Chevy Cruze from here, since in the last 5 months have had plenty of ussues with the power train and also the ac. Wouldnt cancle my extended warraty after deciding I did not want it. You have 30 days to cancel and it was only day 3, no help from Port lavaca Dodge at all and no help from main office. They kept pushing extended warrenty on me and wouldnt let up ( $$$ for them). I only buy from honest Dealers, there for I will not be returning... Extended warranty is a rip off. God bless

Bunch of waste of time and money.. very upset and unhappy..”Update” They called me the very next morning saying they want to earn my BusinessAnd they will honor the Price that’s Listed. We both states the Price on the phone before I made the drive ONCE AGAIN..Once we got there seems like we waited forever 2+hrs and weren’t made a priority. We finally get to signing the paperwork and I see their adding 2k onto the Listed price for a gps tracking device.. I almost wanted to flip the table over 😒 WTH 2k for something I had no knowledge. I brought it up and was told it’s permanently on there and can’t be taken off.... Heck no you got me stupid!!Also they didn’t want to make us any copies of the paperwork I thought that was totally weird I’m still waiting on a response of the general manager on that. If you plan on dealing with this Dealership Better have the General Manager on Speed Dail because they will try and Screw you over... Would I ever buy a Car from this Place Again Most likely not, the deal on the car would have to be great with NO BS this TIME.. also the Detail on the car was horrible being they had all day...

If you wanna talk to kind and promising people over the phone thats one way but when you get to the dealership itself you will learn real fast that everything they said over the phone was lies and waste of time to going all the way out there and they come up with some excuse that is preventing them to give u the service they had said over the phone but not in person... waste of time waste of money and waste of miles that i added for now no reason! STRONGLY ADVISE FIND A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP AND THIS HAPLENED LAST NIGHT... Take my word or you can see for yourself!!!

So my first experience with them was great. Our person was Horace who no longer works there which is a shame because the others have no clue. I got my truck with no problems. I went a few months later to get another vehicle and they gave me so many problems. They didnt want to contact my bank I had used for years to do my auto loans because they wanted to use their own choices. Their internet and phone people promise one thing then you go in and have problems with the floor staff honoring it. I ended up going to Boerne Jeep in San Antonio. They had no issue with getting me in the Jeep I wanted or contacting the bank of my choice. Perfect customer service at Boerne!!!!

Ive been bringing my Ram to Port Lavaca Dodge since I bought it there. When your car breaks down its a pain, but Ive always been taken real good care of here. Even after my truck wasnt under warranty and I had to pay for some repairs, they get with manager Jarrod and get me a real good price.

I will never return to this dealership. 1st do not bother with their online. They can not sell you a vehicle. After wasting a lot of time on emails describing what I needed. I show up at dealership and the lady I was speaking to online passes me.off to a salesman because she cant sell me a car. So I had to start over with salesman who was 45 minutes late coming to work. 2nd. Everything promised in email was lies. 3rd they tried to blame my credit score. I called my bank. They said they would approve a deal. Port lavaca hesitated to send anything to my bank. When they finally did I found out why they hesitated. My bank called me. Port lavaca was trying to screw me bad. My bank was happy to approve a deal but port lavaca numbers were so bad they wouldnt have approved it for anyone. I still have email where they offered 14,000 for my trade. When submitted to my bank they offered 6000. Email say they can reduce my negative equity. When submitted to my bank the negative equity was 10,000.I post this as a warning.I also witnessed something another customer experienced. He bought a jeep the day before. The jeep was bought. Deal done. They wanted to wash it and fuel it and he needed to bring his insurance. So he came back that morning I was there with insurance to pick up his already bought jeep. He had to wait the 2.5 hours I was there. Lousy service.Dont be suckered by their promises.My bank approved a deal through another dealership. I will never return.

BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They do not hold up to the deals they make nor have enough guts to call and say they made a bad deal on there part and try to work it out with you. I ordered a jeep for one price that we agreed to put 3500.00 down and after waiting 2 months they add 2000.00 to the price and conveniently lost the paper work and will not call me back. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus any aftermarket stuff they have added they mark it up 200% plus some said because they have to warranty it. This total BS they have another company put the stuff on it come with a warranty they do nothing if something goes wrong. Ican see charging for there time but not 200%. They lost three sale from me in the next 6 months over this one. the jeep and 2 dodge trucks hope yall are happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny thing is I ran in to a guy on a job i was doing for him that had two new jeeps. So we started to talk about the jeeps and i told him i had just tried to buy a jeep but the dealer had tried and screw me on the price when i went to pick it up he said he had the same thing happen to him that he try and make a deal on a lifted rubicon at Port Lavaca Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, I ask him if it was a gray with black roof and fender he said yes that they had gave him one price and later tried to raise it on him once he went to pick it up and they told him someone ordered it but backed out on the deal. THEY HAD DONE THE SAME THING TO THIS GUY ON THE SAME JEEP I ORDERED AND MADE A DEAL ON THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LYING SCUMBAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service department at Port Lavaca Dodge has always been so helpful to me. My last few visits I have been helped by KRISTEN MUELLER. She was always very informative about my situations and when they had to keep my vehicle, she always kept me updated with the progress of the repairs.I recently traded in my Jeep Commander and purchase a 2013 Dodge Durango. They advertised a 2016 Charger rt plus with blacktop package for 33k including rebates on their website. I drove a hour and a half to check it out and make a offer. I can get a 2017 with similar packages for the same price so I was looking for a deal. I was impressed with their selection of Chargers and Challengers and was surprised they had so many 2016s. There are no new 2016 R/Ts in Corpus. My salesman, Peter, was in good spirits and seemed willing to help. He got the keys so I could test drive the car and I told him the gas was low and I hoped I didnt run out of gas. He said there was plenty. I rode 3 miles down the road. The car felt underpowered for a 5.7, I was not impressed, and on the way back it ran out of gas. I called and they came and picked me up after about 15 mins of standing on the side of the road. No problem, stuff happens. When we got back they offered 11k on my trade in and I didnt accept and explained Id be upside down with that offer. He said I didnt understand what upside down meant but he couldnt come up with a reasonable explaination of what he meant. He asked if I could make $900 in payments a month. I still dont know where this figure came from, I have 5k to put down and a 720 credit score. I looked at him like he was smoking crack. I wrote down my offer and what Id take on my trade and said that I didnt expect them to accept and that was OK. At this point I just wanted my keys and to leave. Earlier in the day I said I needed to be out of there by 2pm. I asked for my keys and said I need to go and he said I didnt have to leave until 2 oclock. I said my plans changed. He acted like he didnt want to give me my keys and went to talk to the manager. About 10 mins later, Angel, the manager came to talk to me. He showed me a break down of the price and I appreciate his willingness to be upfront. He offered 13k on my trade which I believe is fair but wouldnt budge on the price which magically crept up to 34k. Not the 33k advertised on their website. He gave me my keys, I thanked him and left. All in all it wasnt a total waste of time. I realized the R/Ts are sluggish and underpowered and not worth looking at unless you like looking at the back of camaros, mustangs, and Tundras when they leave you in the dust. Not honoring their own price on their website is why theyre getting 1 star. Thats probably why they still have so many 2016s on the lot. No sense in haggling over a 2016 rt when you can pay 2k more for a 2017 scat pack Charger with the 6.4.
