My SubZero was dying at the end of August and the dealer nearest me in Manhattan, NYC told me I would have to remove the compressor at a cost of $1500 and wait until mid-November for delivery. In mid-September a friend referred me to Village Appliances. Village Appliances promptly sent a man to double check the measurements. He not only determined that I did not need to remove the compressor but Village Appliances was able to deliver and install my new refrigerator on October 1. They were prompt and professional throughout the process. I highly recommend them -- as did the friend who referred me to them.
Very knowledgeable, customer focused and friendly service. Highly recommend. For our kitchen renovation I did extensive research on appliances I wanted and where the best deals were. Village appliances offered the same prices as the major online sellers. Needless to say I preferred to go local. And so happy I did. Our contractor could contact them directly to make sure the appliances were delivered on his preferred day. Village Appliances stored it all at no charge till then. Two of our appliances had issues. The garbage disposal had a factory error and Jimmy immediately called the manufacturer and had them create a case number to get the ball moving for a replacement. Our microwave oven was missing 2 tiny brackets inside and Jimmy had them shipped to our house within days. Highly recommend Village Appliances for their competitive prices and their friendly and good customer service.

I am just completing my second major kitchen renovation and have worked very successfully with Village Appliances both times. My salesman was Jimmy Rosales, and from the beginning to the end, he was responsive, attentive and thorough. He took time in the shop to answer all my questions and provide suggestions. At the end of the process, he assisted with a swap-out of the dishwasher because it didnt quite work in the space (my fault, not his.) Jimmy was fabulous, and so is doing business with Village Appliances. You will be very pleased that customer service is alive and well in Port Chester.
Renovating house and was referred to Village Appliances. Dealing with them was the easiest part of a whole house renovation. Walter was our sales person and he was great. No hard sell and very knowledgeable and patient. Did everything he said he was going to do and did it when he said he would. He made the process of choosing appliances very easy. He also gave us a competitive price that made us feel like we did not overpay. We also bought a washer and dryer from them and the first time I used the washer it vibrated a lot. I emailed Walter on a Sunday and he responded immediately even though it was his day off. He advised me to check for packing bolts that my contractor (not Village Appliances) may have neglected to take out. Sure enough that was the issue. I removed them and the machine worked fine. I will refer people to them and tell them to make sure they deal with Walter.
I havent bought anything yet, but I just have to leave a review anyway. My dishwasher failed. I just had a 30 minute call with Jimmy Rosales and this was likely the best customer service experience Ive had with an appliance dealer ever. Ill be buying a unit from them Monday. Top top top!Followup -- I bought a dishwasher, they referred someone to install it. Installation was great, the unit has been perfect for 7 months, great price, great customer service. Love these guys.
When my refrigerator died I walked in at 9 am and saw Jimmy Rosales. He showed me online a model that fit, showed me upstairs in the showroom, took $100 off, and 15 min later I was out the door.Three days later the fridge is delivered, installed, working great. Not only Jimmy but everyone along the way - the scheduler April, the deliveryman Otto, the installer Ishwa - was a total pro.Its rare to find service like this nowadays. Village Appliances is great. Always has been and still is.
Great experience. Easy going, very knowledgable staff. Very patient as I looked back and forth, again and again, comparing features and aesthetics. The store closed while I was there and I never felt any pressure to move it along. Erik gave me the true specs for the fridge I chose (before coming in...I had been to Lowes, Home Depot and County Appliance) and strongly recommended I measure the space for it one more time before ordering it. Thank goodness he did, because the newer full size fridges are actually even deeper than the older full size ones. My choice was too deep for the space. Erik e-mailed me some other choices and I found a beautiful French door counter-depth model that was...out of my budget. He then found a way to get it into my budget! The delivery men were also wonderful. Very polite, friendly and careful and helpful; they set up everything and cleaned up. I couldnt be happier. The fridge is new so Ill post my thoughts on the product in a few months, but as far as Village Appliances go...dont buy before checking them out.

We recently replaced all of our kitchen appliances though Village Appliances in Port Chester, NY. Our experience was just unbelievably fantastic. They have a great selection and display of seemingly every brand. Our salesman was Jimmy who is extremely professional and absolutely a great guy - and he has detailed knowledge of all the products.Village matched or beat the previous prices we had researched on every item. Then they advised us to wait a couple of weeks before ordering to take advantage of the program rebates soon to be offered by the manufacturer (GE). In the end they saved us a lot of money.The installers were great. Experienced and polite, and on time!Village provides the type of service that would never be possible with the big guys like Best Buy, Home Depot, Sears or probably anyone else!If you need any appliances you MUST go to Village Appliances and speak to Jimmy !
Absolutely the best appliance dealer in all of Westchester! Pleasant, reliable and most importantly, accessible.I never had to wade through a phone tree to speak to a sales associate. Someone always answers the phone politely and manages to be helpful. 48 hours from purchase to delivery. Kudos to Erik and John. Delivery man Otto is a gem. Bye bye Sears! We ordered on July 02,2020 brand new Dishwasher, Its not working properly, we send so many emails, They are not take it back or replace ( Item is not returnable ), They are going to charge us for Technisian, even though its under warranty, It was better if we bought this from big retailer, Very Very Disappointed —— John from VIllage Appliance called before 3 weeks for sending a technician, still waiting for someone to come to fix the problem, seller take customer as granted, thinking to go to better business
I am super impressed with this store. I went in on a Monday afternoon after my washer broke. Joe was the man who helped me. He took time to locate the proper size and models for me. He had installer come next day to check the space then ordered the machines. Installer came next day and had them in within 2 hours. I was back washing clothes with very little down time. Great machines, GREAT service and a GREAT installer. I am extremely pleased with them.
After having a terrible experience with Home Depot and Drimmers, I decided to look into smaller appliance stores. I am so glad I did. My range was exactly what I needed and most important, the transaction was handled professionally and the delivery was smooth and quick. The delivery company called me a day before to confirm, and their guys called me 30 min prior to arrival. I highly recommend.
Yesterday, i went into Village Appliance fully prepared to buy a new dishwasher as mine had suddenly stopped working. My salesperson, Jimmy, helped me through the process and suggested that before purchasing, I call him with the old dishwashers model number to see if we could understand what had gone wrong with it. Turned out to be an easy minor fix.Village Appliance - where the salespeople know their stuff, where helpfulness, patience and courtesy take precedence over the hard sell. Village Appliance lost a sale and gained a customer ... Ill be back.
We did a complete kitchen renovation and worked with Jimmy Rosales on selecting all of the appliances. He was absolutely amazing. So incredibly knowledgeable and honest. He listened to what our needs were and worked within our budget. Made recommendations when we asked for them. We had a problem with one of our appliances and he spent so much time coming up with a solution to make us happy. He also was able to match a price on an additional appliance that we needed before the project even got started. He was such a pleasure and I cant recommend Village appliance enough.

Village Appliance is unquestionably the most customer service oriented company we have ever encountered. We purchased all the appliances for our city apartment and Jimmy Rosales, our salesperson, went out of his way to accommodate our every request. We had to exchange the refrigerator after delivery due to a contractor/architect oversight involving the position of the door handle, and received the replacement within several days. Any request was answered immediately. We anticipate that our adult children will continue the relationship we have now developed with Village Appliance for their own homes/apartments in the future.

Great Experience! We just renovated our kitchen and bought all of our appliances at Village Appliances. We shopped around at a few different stores and they were by far the best price. We worked with Joe G. who was extremely helpful and was always available to answer our questions and help us throughout the process. Joe worked directly with our contractor to make sure the delivery of our appliances was seemless and on schedule. I dont typically write reviews, but after dealing with Joe and Village Appliances, I thought it was necessary to share my experience.
A major area vendor sold me a machine that did not fit our needs. Then, I called Village Appliances. Jimmy, our salesman, researched the problem and quickly identified the perfect machine, which was installed the following day.Everyone that I dealt with was not only extremely courteous, but also made clear that they had a real interest in making sure that we were satisfied.While their performance alone would certainly warrant praise, it is all the more so when compared with the larger and better know appliance dealer that ignored our instructions, created the problem, lied about the circumstances, and then refused to accept any responsibility.

Excellent service! Our dryer died, they had a new one put in the very next day, everything was accomplished by phone and they delivered promptly at the scheduled time.

The trouble I had trying to buy a range before I got to Village Appliances was out of the twilight zone.Then I worked with Erik at Village. He is so informed and his manner promoted confidence. I was finally at ease. The installer was a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time and did his job efficiently. My advice is to start at Village and save yourself headaches.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a clothes dryer on the phone by credit card and was told it was in sock and would be delivered the next delivery day to Greenwich,CT. After manyl days I tried to reach the sales person several times and he was with a customer, didnt work that day I called or at lunch....finally two weeks later the dryer was to be delivered...meanwhile over the two week period I had to go find a place to dry the laundry....I was told that I would be the first item off the truck and I was the last. I am a retired teacher who tutors from my home in the afternoon and the delivery was disruptive to my work.The delivery crew was rude and unprofessional!!! The dryer was DEFECTIVE!!!!!It ran and would NOT turn off. The store was NOT helpful in getting the problem resolved. I call the 800 number and had it serviced for the same problem FIVE times. I went back to the store and talked with the owner in that the manufacturer was sending me a check for replacement. Village Appliance would NOT replace their defective product unless I put a significant deposit on a new purchase. I went elsewhere.
I purchased a Bosch Ascenta W/D 6 weeks ago. I was given NO instruction on how to use this machine. There is a dozen different cycles on washer and dryer. I called back my sales man and he said he was going to get a bosch person to contact me to set up an appt - well never heard back from the sales person or anyone at Bosch. After 5 weeks, the machine then started to stop working (washer) and a light blinking check drain comes on. I read the books and re-read the book and the part about this is so minimal it was easy to miss. So I jiggled the drain hose, took it out, restarted - again, it stops, light blinks, check drain. I had to go through the same steps 8 times over the course of the next 30 min to get my clothes to dry. After 5 min it would stop and I would reset it all over again. I called Bosch and they directed me to where I purchased this unit. I called Village Appliances. The salesman who sold me these units without any instruction and who was going to get someone to contact me, was not available. I then had to start from the beginning with the person who happened to answer the phone. He also was not familiar with the machine nor any of the bells and whistles and what to do if in this situation. He was going to find a bosch service person and get back to me. Well, he didnt get back to me and didnt seem to even remember our conversation or the problem when I called him back. I am disgusted that you can pay $2000 on an electrical appliance to get such crappy customer service. I also bought 5 year warranty to never get a slip or anthing to show that I have this extended warranty, what to do, who to call - nothing....I want at this point to return the entire damm thing for a full refund plus refund of the warranty! I was on hold for the manager, but didnt have the luxury of waiting on hold, instead of the salesperson saying let me talk to the manager, fill him in, have him call you back, I am left on hold.
