Food was great, but extremely overpriced! Staff was not rude, but also didnt seem to care much about the clients. No vegan options and not even flexibility to adjust the dishes to remove ingredients when asked to. Wouldnt recommend or come back again.I was expecting much better service and standards for the Swiss price.
We had breakfast here today. The Location is very beautifull! The self made ice tea was not our favourite and the croque Madame was OK.Unfortunately we have to say, that the service was not that good, since we felt a little bit like second class citizens because the Romanian guests were treated much more friendly than us.

This place is so underrated! I did not find it on TripAdvisor but it should definitely be there! The service is excelent and the waiter was so kind and professional. Also the food was amazing and I am very critical to food! Strongly recommend the place!

I dont usually review places, but this place is terrible. I asked the waiter if a certain dish was vegan and he said that it was, but we received something with non vegan yogurt. When I asked him about it he just shrugged while walking away. Of course that it was on the bill and I had to pay for it. Rude, rude staff, stay away from this place.

The staff was very very friendly and helpful, the only thing I did not like was the fact that they did not serve eggs after a certain hours even though they had dishes that contained eggs in the menu (so it was possible for them). I know this is a common practice for most of the restaurants in Romania - they serve parts of the menu untill a certain hour.
Came here several times for coffee and brunch. The brunch has a decent selection of egg based males and vegan options. The coffee is also well made and of high quality. Prices are ok for Bucharest standards. The places is often crowded during the weekends. I highly recommend this place for a good brunch.
Nice little cafe / bakery, decent coffee, tasty breakfast and nice ambiance inside. Fine to do a couple of hours work in too. Good tables and access to a handful of power points. Service verged on slow when I ordered one of my coffees, but nothing to really complain about.
Very nice place and interesting food. Ive dined two times here and the experience was very different, but subpar to other places, in my humble opinion. Dont think Ill give it a third try :). First time I was here the experience was overall good, except a minor inconvenience: forgot to order the eggs without green onions. Tried to change it within 15 seconds after the order was posted, however the waitress told me changes to the order are not possible - I was wondering why thow? I mean the green onion goes last in that particular dish, as it is a garnish of sorts, but w/e. After a careful removal of the onions, I also got a somewhat snarky remark of disapproval from the waitress due to no liking the onions :)) but again w/e, brushed it off and looked forward to ordering future dishes without the onion. The second time we all ordered the same dish, without green onions, from the same waitress, but after about an hour we realized that the food is not coming. Since we were pretty hungry we took action and went to the kitchen area to inquire about food and noticed that the order was either missing or not forwarded to the chef. After about another 30 min the food was finally delivere, with the green onions :))) this was unbelievable and we all had a good laugh at the odd situation we were in. We did wonder what would happen if we pointed this mistake to them, however the hunger took over and I just ate the dish - no questions asked, the other people discarded them to the side. We were offered a 10% discount and they did apologize, but from the experience we had it seems that we should find a different place to eat ;) i do recommend the place, but have to say to future customers: good luck!

Ive found out about this place from Instagram. The menu is great especially for breakfast and I am totally in love with all the furniture. If you are looking for a place with good food, a chill atmosphere and a great background for your pictures, this is the place!
New to the neighborhood and a Yank, I was immediately drawn to Bread and Butter my first night by the candles lit magically on all the tables. It is a lovely room and I have been coming here many afternoons now for cocktails. As a writer, I appreciate good spaces and good wifi. More importantly, the servers here treat me very well, even when the restaurant is crazy busy. I have had two good meals here and wish I could indulge in the many scandalous desserts they offer. Lots of families come with children and yet it is a very nice, relaxed crowd. A good vibe.

Horrible experience. There is nothing to eat if you want to have a nice dinner, prices extremely high comparing to service. I ordered dessert, a sandwich and coffee. The waiter brought the dessert first and forgot completely about the sandwich. After 20 mins of waiting, I asked for the sandwich again and the waiter just took it from the fridge and handle it to me. No heating it, nothing. The bill came with 20% discount at everything but the price for the cake was with 2 lei higher than the one on the menu...

Beautifully decorated, delicious food and very friendly staff. I think they have all the key ingredients for a nice culinary experience in the city center.
Ordered Carbonara Pasta and glass of red wine. Carbonara was okay, noodles a little under cooked, but flavor overall good. Glass of red wine was awful, couldn’t drink it, they admitted it wasn’t good but yet still charged me for it. Atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.
Nice coffee place in the city center, but nothing more. The food is ok-ish, the coffee is good, but not great. Could use a better chef.
You can forget about the italian sandwich, doesnt look anything like what you would expect after reading the menu, but croque madame is decent. An upgrade of the audio system would be a good thing, also the music (bee gees on a Sunday morning??!!!)

Its great breakfast restaurant! A little more expensive but really delicious. The juice drinks are particularly recommended. At this point especially the apple drink with cinnamon. We had egg dishes, which can also be put together individually. It was very full, but you can be sure to find a place without a reservation. It worked for us.

Eggs laid on 2 slices of cheap bagel, not even fried / prepared in any way. Waitresses who have no idea about them, no one comes to take your order if you dont go and tell them. Fresh detox that contained 3 quarters of water. Too bad, too bad the location.

That moment when breakfast at home looks better than at a bistro with a super hype.Although it was not crowded (about 3 tables occupied), the waiting time was very long, the poor girl who served was alone, both at home and at the tables, I stayed 40 minutes for an omelette full of oil, a tomato and some leaves drowned in super sweet, mediocre balsamic vinegar.

The beautifully presented products give the ladies who serve a ten. I would add here that personal education is the way you treat a guest, a client. What I DIDNT like was the presence of a manager-employer, I dont know what it was, who kept giving orders and arguing and correcting the waitresses how and what to do.Excessive zeal I would say, the girls did their job right anyway.Disturbing these manifestations of leadership, especially in the presence of customers. If you want to have meetings with the staff, try a meeting room, behind the curtains, or when the place is empty. In my opinion.
2021, the center of Bucharest, but payment by card cannot be made locally, you are invited to the nearby ATM. I waited a long time for an omelet (40 minutes), but at least the arrangement is nice.

It is a really special place in Bucharest, from the atmosphere, the food, to the staff and the service, absolutely everything is impeccable. The prices are very ok, even very ok for the quality of services. It is my favorite place in Bucharest so far where I will return for the first time! I hope you keep it that way!
A good place for a break. The coffee is excellent, the breakfast as well. I tried the mushroom omelette, and I was not disappointed. I came back in the evening, and so were the quality drinks. There is not much to say, only that it deserves its place on Calea Victoriei.

A very nice place to have breakfast. We were in Bucharest with a larger group of youngsters for a few days and celebrated a friends bachelor party there. On the day of departure we wanted to have breakfast beforehand and came to the shop. Breakfast was delicious and unusual. Can only recommend the shop
