I set an appointment for early in the morning, but slept through my alarm due to high mandatory overtime hours at work. I called, they said to bring it in anyway, they’d sneak me in. Two hours later, my tires were changed and my alignment was done. Awesome shop to work with, will certainly be coming back.

Robert Pfaff (The Owner), exhibits flawed logic, a lack of common sense, and poor customer service. I came in as a first time customer for a wheel alignment. During the wheel alignment, one of the employees decided to roll down my driver-side window. The glass window fell inside the door panel and got stuck. They finished the wheel alignment and told me my window was inside my door panel and its not their problem because I did not tell them there was an issue with my window. It was currently 8 degrees outside at this time and I live 30 minutes away. Robert Pfaff said I could pay them for labor to fix the window issue on top of the alignment fee, or I can leave with the window stuck in the door panel. At this point, Robert Pfaff challenged me to take him to court (I actually would have).I argued with Robert Pfaff about how he has bad business practices and he disagreed with me. I told him if I knew he was going to roll down the window I would have told him about the problem, but its been like that for 6 years and no repair shop has ever tried to roll it down. Eventually, Robert Pfaff decided to put the window back in the original position, so I could leave.I was recommended this place because of their honesty and fair prices by a friend. There is no way I would ever recommend anyone to visit this place and the friend that recommended it said he wont ever go back. The wheel alignment literally took 10-15 minutes and it was $80.Avoid Pfaff Tire & Auto Inc. and also avoid Rip-off Robert Pfaff.

Pfaff Tire & Auto were wonderfully helpful and accommodating when we blew out our tire on I-55. They even drove us to a local hotel while we waited for our new tires to arrive next day.

You really got to watch these guys. They upcharged me $200 on a wheel bearing. When I called after finding out that they had up charged me 200 bucks on a part they couldnt justify it. Thats when I stopped doing business with them.

My tire went down to 12 PSI while i was traveling, I found Pfaff Tire and Auto and they managed to work me in during a busy Saturday. They were so friendly and fast, fixed my tire and got me back on the road. All at a reasonable cost too!

A little disappointed about their poor time punctuality. I have made appointment for 8AM on Friday for my brakes repair (new pads and rotors) . Technician initially mentioned 2 hrs after inspecting the vehicle and then said it would be 3 hrs. I called after 4 hours and then said it takes them another 1 hour. I wouldn’t suggest they should check with customers if they have any upcoming appointments that they need their vehicle for so that we can plan accordingly. If they need 5 hours max, they should mention 5 hrs not 3 hrs. On the other hand, I also advise customers who have further appointments to let the staff know about their need for vehicle in coming hours so that they can plant to return your vehicle in expected time.I felt the professional experience there. They give you a ride if you live in town. Yet to experience their work . So far it’s good.I HAVE ADDED MY REDIPT TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF HOW THEY CHARGE. RATES ARE OKAY.

I came in because my tire blew, I needed to get a replacement and back on the road. This establishment saw no issue with taking my money and completing the job. That’s not the problem here. The issue that I have is the difference in customer service that I received versus other customers. The owner was very short with me when I attempted to ask questions in regards to pricing. He was evasive when I asked what specific charges were for. However, when another customer came in he gave them top notch customer service. I’m patronizing your business in the middle of a pandemic, every customer deserves the same service.Do better

I came in due to a slow leak in a tire on a car I was renting from Midway Airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful and took my car immediately. I must commend John for taking the time to show me the leak and explain that it had been previously repaired. The charge was very reasonable for the time spent and I highly recommend Pfaff Tire and Auto.

The guys at Pfaff came through big time. My car died on 55 near Pontiac. I had to leave it at the rest area, have it towed in the middle of the night, and have the keys sent Fed Ex (I forgot to leave them with the vehicle and left the area). I saw the positive reviews and sent the car to Pfaff. The next day I called them and they were very understanding and willing to look at the car when the keys arrived. I was expecting a big number for the repairs. They managed to fix it (replacing a belt) by bypassing the broken air conditioner with the new belt. This got the car on the road at a fraction of the cost it otherwise would have been. I then needed to pick the car up a week later (as I was on vacation). They held the car for me. Two thumbs way up. I cannot thank these guys enough!

The guys at Pfaff tire and auto came through big time for us. We had the tread on one of our tires blow off, out on interstate 55. After being recommended by the check-in lady at the Hampton Inn, we were able to limp over to their shop at 3:30pm. They not only had 4 new tires in stock, but got them installed before closing time. The owner, Robert, is an incredible guy. Perhaps the nicest person Ive met in the automotive industry. We had an impact bulge in our tire and noticed it while in Pontiac, nearly two hours from home. He didnt have the size we needed but took the time to call every shop in Pontiac to find us one. When nobody in town had one, he started calling nearby towns to help us out. Many calls later, Robert found us our odd size at a shop he knew of up in Dwight. I cant say enough great things about the service we received today. Thanks again.

Wow! Amazing service. I can’t thank Robert and the crew enough for their help.My 9-year-old and I were on our way from Chicago to Springfield (Chatham, actually) so he could compete in the state finals of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship, when we got a flat. Not wanting to drive the hundred-something miles (and home) on the mini-spare, we needed a tire.Pfaff Tire & Auto care came up as the closest, so I called and explained the situation. Robert said he would get us in and out quickly. I had no idea what “quickly” meant to him, but I was about to find out.I texted my wife at 10:02am telling her we’d arrived at the shop. Check in/warm ups for the event start at noon. At this point, I was hoping just to get there for the 1pm event start.Next thing I knew, we were on the road again. The time stamp on my receipt said 10:16am.14 minutes from pulling in to driving away.I felt a bit like Kyle Busch pulling into the pits. The mechanic who replaced the tire wished my son luck as he was handing me the keys.We made it in plenty of time and had a blast (even though my boy didn’t win).Thank you so much for getting us back on the road and allowing my son to compete. When we arrived he commented, “You know we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the tire guys”.He was right. Thank you so much!
