I have ordered several items from Traditional Jewish Gifts: Mezuzot, Kiddush Cups, Shabbat Candle Sticks and Candles. Everything is of the highest quality and ships very quickly. I really love their store and will continue to buy gifts from them ... mostly for myself!
Terrible customer service and false advertising. I contacted them immediately after placing an order to inquire about the price matching listed on their site. I included in my voicemail the name of the product, the site it was on, and the lower price amount by $15. I said to please let me know prior to shipping if theyre willing to honor it as I may not choose to keep it in my order should they not honor it. I received a voicemail back from Katie asking what product it was, as well as which other site it was on. I left another voicemail 30 minutes later after her call saying that all of that info was in my initial message but I was happy to repeat it again and did so. I repeated also to please let me prior to shipping if theyre not willing to honor the price match as I may not choose to keep the item in with my order. I never heard back and so called and spoke with the owner, Wendy, who let me know that the order already shipped and they were not willing to honor the price match. She told me I could return the item if I wanted. She was also confused and thought that Katie called me back x2, which she did not (only x1). I said that was unfair of me to ask that I spend my time returning the item and that they should absolutely honor the price match. She said she was not going to. I asked if her preference was to loose a customer and she repeated that they were not going to honor it and if she didnt ship it, I wouldnt have the other item in my order in time for Hanukkah. I said I was going to file a complaint with the BBB and have done such. I also wrote a Yelp review and noticed that all except 2 of the reviews are terrible. Ive never seen such consecutive poor reviews and all of the responses to them are just defensive. Terrible business practices.
I received an email saying some of my order was out of stock. I spoke with Sara, who offered me alternatives, and promptly helped me get the keychains I needed! Thank you for being so helpful and so prompt, Sara! Can’t wait to receive my keychains and I know they will make awesome gifts!
Unquestionably the worst customer service I have ever experienced.Ships item to wrong address, claims to have sent e-mails that were never received, blames the customer for their screw-up.If I could give no stars, I would.
