The Main Street Marketplace Antique Mall is your run-of-the-mill antique shop. The selection and variety is large and spread over two floors. Prices are above average and most items are of little value or interest. There is parking along the street, but hard to obtain. No public restrooms are available. I would not consider this place to be wheelchair-friendly as there is no elevator to the second floor, and the doors didnt seem to have a paraplegic assist. Visiting is not a waste of time, but not necessarily worth your time either.

Wonderful place to feel nostalgic and pick up antiques

DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! After shopping at this antique store for over 17 years every summer when I visit the Cape, today I was accused of shoplifting by the always rude, never welcoming or smiling staff.As I paid for the cool thing I found, I was met with Is there anything else youd like to pay for today? I said. No, thats all for now, then the rude short dark haired lady had the nerve to say Like whats in your bag!? I was so floored. I said What? Do you think I stole something? I am 49 years old, never in my life have I been accused of stealing anything, They then said they observed me putting something in my purse in their video cameras. I then said I did place my daughters bottled water in my purse. Then I offered my purse for proof. As they tore through it convinced they would find the contraband, the only thing they said was You never know as the way things are this summer Huh? No apology? No Im so sorry? We were wrong to accuse you? We were mistaken? Nope. I said Ive been coming here for years and Im insulted and I will never come back here again. I also added on the way out the door that I couldnt wait to leave a review!! So here it is ladies - Youre very bad at your job and youve lost a very loyal customer. DONT SHOP HERE!

One of my favorite stops in Plymouth!! Main Street Marketplace is filled with treasures! I highly recommend checking them out whether you are new to antiquing or have been in the hobby for a while! They always have great sales and prices too!

One of my favorite places to shop for a whole day. Put on you cumfy shoes and bring some rainy day money because you WILL find something to love . Or many things. So many lovey booths set up and they are so inviting like a little private room for you to snoop through and buy whatever you want then there’s a fantastic experience upstairs ! It is even more fun!

Poor merchandise selection and they can’t even keep their posted hours. They are on the same “death spiral” as many other antique shops...little good merchandise to attract customers so they start closing early...so the customers they have don’t come to shop...so they close even earlier. It used to be a good shop but is now a place to avoid...

Very disappointed in my recent experience. I usually love this place, which is why Im not rating it 1. The prices are fair enough, and there are good antiques there. However, the staff was very rude to us this time. It was about 4:20 and my family and I (along with a handful of other people) were upstairs looking around. There are no easily visible signs downstairs that say that the upstairs closes at 4:30 (one is more than halfway up the stairs and the other looks like a sign being sold as an antique: no distinction that it was a real sign. While upstairs before 4:30, the staff began to shut the lights off ON US, and basically told us to get out. Frankly, I wanted to just leave without buying anything. The staff never apologized, even though they were in the wrong. Others seemed upset as well. Moral of the story: get better signage and be kinder!!

Loved this place. A wide variety of items and very reasonable prices. Added two little cameos to my collection. I will be going back!

I always find unique, eccentric items to use in my art or just to collect. There are new items all the time, so each visit is a new experience.

Very large shop. Appears to be set up with individual booth areas. Quite a few antique items, but also a lot of flea market type items. You really have to look past the junk in many areas to see the most interesting items. Was a little disappointed by the people tending the shop as they couldnt even look up from what they were doing to greet us or ask if we needed any assistance. Sad, because I was going to purchase a table and chest.

Too bad I cant rate it a zero - Interesting another person here mentioned the same thing im going to...being followed around as if Im about to steal something. The guy at the counter is a snotty little thing with his nose in the air, I dont exactly know who he thinks he is but Ive frequented that place several times trying to get a better feeling from the employees, but this one man is ridiculous, he really seems to think hes a cut above the customers. He told me today how people steal and he has to watch his temper. Well, I didnt watch my temper, I had enough of him. What he pulled on me today was too much to fit here, suffice it to say the dude is a total JERK - im calling the owner of the establishment about him tomorrow morning.

This is a great smaller antique mall. Good mixture of items good prices.

When employees follow three generations of a family like we are going to break or steal from them. My sixty plus year old parents stop looking and leave. No one needs someone following them for no good reason. My father wanted to buy a very expensive telescope but while browsing he was followed like a kid. They lost almost 7 thousand dollars of my families money because they had to pretend they had a reason to be two steps away at all times. Get cameras if u want be up someones behind. Sad my dad missed out on that telescope

DISGUSTINGLY RACIST!If only I could give negative stars! I was walking around with my teenager for a while through all of the yard sale items when we unsuspectingly came upon a “Jolly N.....” bank. I was in shock. I called over my husband (who is black) and we quickly scooped up our mixed race 8 year-old and got out of there. I was in fight/flight mode. I am typically someone that would immediately addresses something like this head-on (fight mode), but instead I had a very powerful “flight” reaction and just had to get my family out of there immediately.PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Found nice sports memorialbia that you cant find in most antique stores.Autographed ball & pucks,figures,cards and programs.Also models,spoons,stamps,postcards,vinyl,Hummels,plates and original art.Nice place to go after lunch and casually brose.Upstairs has larger furniture on consignment-reduced 10% every month.
