Now this place is not for everyone but if you are in the market for lights this is the store Ive purchased Tiffany style and free standing lamp lights here ..The first time was with my mother and she bought crystal the place has every light plus when you buy certain lights bulbs are sold there too from regular to save money in the long run buying LEDsSo if youre in the market for lights its the place to go!!! Or just do some window shopping! A walk around in the store is crazy with all the variety!Oh! Have fun ... it is pricey

After asking sales person if something was on sale I passed on it and told her that I found one I wanted as I turned to head towards it she walked away from me and started helping another couple. Guess my $235 sale was not as important as the $1000 light they were looking at.

Salespersons care more about their commission than they do about the customer.

I brought a friend with 3 lamps needing shades. Payam was just terrific in helping us select shades as well as finials, which we hadnt even thought of and made such a huge impact for so little extra. We had a very pleasant experience and Payam was so very patient.

Good collection of lamps of all styles from classic to modern. As soon as you enter one of the staff member greets you and tries to understand what you are shopping for and guides you through the offering in the store.The staff then steps away and lets youyou wander and make your decision. I felt thats great because I know whats available and no one is pushing me to make any decisions right there.

Employees working to get commission or good numbers makes for a very unpleasant experience. Everyone is watching you like a hawk to see if youll purchase something so they can get the reward. Makes for competitive employees working to get sales rather than help customers. Nice store otherwise.

Ive been in the Pleasant Hill store twice and wont be going back. The first time I was looking for a replacement bulb for a fixture I owned. The salesman told me what I was looking for didnt exist. He was so snotty about it that my friend and I turned around and left. I went to another store and bought the bulb.Today I went in and, unfortunately, got the same guy. I needed a replacement glass globe for a chandelier. I found the light and showed it to the salesman. He told me the globe was 2 pieces- its not. Its a clear outer bulb with a frosted smaller bulb inside- threaded to screw on over the halogen light bulb. I had just taken apart the light fixture myself. I told him its one piece, threaded. He says, Ive put this light together 10 times, its 2 pieces. Ugh. He then goes on to ask how I know the fixture was bought at Lamps Plus and how I know its the same fixture? Really?! Is this know-it-all always like this? Both times Im told I dont know what Im talking about and he then tries to one up me with a bull$%!t statement. How about we go to the computer and look, rather than lecturing me? Hes obnoxious, condescending, smug, moronic AND wrong. He is costing you business, Lamps Plus.K. Linden

The man that helped me (receipt says Edwin Joseph) was super friendly and helpful! I brought in my lamp that had a tiny bulb out and he got it out with a screwdriver and sold me a new bulb for three dollars! Also i got an amazing display model lamp for only 30! I think it was originally 150 or something like that. Love this place, Ill definitely be back!

Too many lights to choose from also this store seems to have quite e few not in stock and the led under the counter display section was not working. It also made me aware that you have to see them before you should buy light fixtures.

Dont care for the shadow while shopping... sales person asked the typical questions regarding why we were there and then proceeded to follow us around commenting and asking questions the whole time... it was annoying and frustrating... definitely will be sticking to online if I decide to purchase... the merchandise seemed slightly over priced compared.to the surrounding stores as well. I was disappointed in the whole experience.

O M G dont know about the other reviews as my experience at this store has never been better. I go in at least once a month to look for decor items...and if they dont have it, theyll get it for me. In addition, they know their inventory and what its limitations are. Whenever Im near Home Goods and Ross, I come here...They have a lot more than just lamps. LOVE this store and the sales!!

I walked into the store at about 11am on a Saturday and nobody attended or greeted me. I found what I needed and paid for it and was reassured that I will be getting my lamp AND the the Toggle Slider dimmer this week. This week came and went and even though I received my light fixture, the toggle slider never did arrive and there were NO FOLLOW-UP email with updates. When I called the store on Friday, I was told to called customer service and they told me that vendor has this item on back order and I wont be able to receive it for WEEKS!!! Even though they had offered me a refund, they didnt offer me a reasonable solution. VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE! WILL NOT DO BUSINESS AGAIN.
