I will say going in to Life Storage of Plantation I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was my first time looking to rent a storage so I was pretty nervous. I was greeted with a smile and was service within seconds of walking into the establishment. I also will like to acknowledge sales representative Alicia for her grade A hospitality and customer service skills and cleanliness of the facility, had easily made me feel at home, this five star rating doesn’t do Life Storage any justice ten stars hands down. I will be most definitely recommending Life Storage to all my friends, coworkers and family

Clean, a little pricey, but all around good service so far.

I had the pleasure being served by Mr. James, He was very polite and straight to the point. He answered all questions that concerns me. I wish there were many around like him.

I was looking for a place to store our 14’ x 8 truck and did not have any idea where to start James took the time on the phone to help me research the storage facilities around me that would accommodate. He was very knowledgeable very professional and very friendly he ended up finding a location nearby with a promotion and explained all of the details to me so I can understand that he wasn’t in a rush and I felt like a valued customer. With the pandemic going on Ive been going through a rough patch recently financially and had to move in most of my personal belongings into a storage unit so everything was a bit stressful going in but Luce, the assistant store manager, is one of the most sweetest and patient people ive had the pleasure of meeting! Im usually really anxious but she took the time to explain and was really considerate to my specific needs. It made the experience a whole lot less daunting then I assumed it would be. I dont know if its just this storage unit that keeps its environment this inviting with its lovely employess and the cleaningliness but Ill be sure to recommend it to anyone who I know whose in need of the empathy that was shown to me by Luce!

Since this property was taken under new management I’ve had my units attempted to be sold on at least four different occasions and even though I felt the tactics were predatory and inconsistent as the windows of time have varied on each time they’ve tried to auction my storage unit. However, even I didn’t think they’d be trying to auction off my space during a pandemic while Broward is being put under a restriction for a second time since February. I even asked for an extension for a couple days only to be denied and threatened with a 150 dollar fee then auction. I’d say just be warned, they seem tight for money nowadays. Also, watch your online accounts. I was late, I want to say last year dec or something like that and my account was deleted so now I’m unable to even login to life storage to make a payment so I have to pay as a guest every time I want to make an online payment for some reason. You will not get a notice, even after all the random emails they send, this will happen without you even knowing and I’m sure it’s at the managers discretion.

I walked into this storage facility today looking for fast service. The manager james helped me pick a unit that was the perfect size for what I was storing. His service was quick, kind, and helpful! I would recommend them!

Have been a long term customer here, new unannounced policy putting a large burden on customers. Seems like owner wants clients to default and sell their belongings. Rates are very high. Have used these folks two years, definitely looking to relocate.

Had an outside unit over here for a year. Eventually moved out because I moved into a bigger apartment. Unit was perfect for what I needed it for. Easy access to the unit at almost any time. Personnel working there are really there to help you out in any way possible. Will definitely come here again if I need more storage space.

Helpful, friendly staff that is willing to work with you to get things done. They usually have specials on storage (by comparison best Ive found), whether first month free or including a moving truck for use at no charge. This location specifically seems to have exceptional customer service from my experience.

We just moved in to our unit last week, but so far these guys have been great. The fact that they have a moving truck available FOR FREE to their customers (one time during the first 14 days) was a deal breaker, but their facility is clean and in great condition. The rates are good, affordable for my family. They had a special on the particular unit I was renting. These guys (meaning the employees that were working in the office on 2/16 thru 2/18) really saved our butt, we had a sudden emergency, had to move out of our house in a short notice, so we were even able to rent the truck for a second day at their rate, and they even helped us out with a few things - meaning they went out of their way to do us a few favors - so we could get our things out of the house and into the storage unit in time. Definitely recommend this place, and hopefully all their locations are as great as this one.

Had a horrible experience here. I go to check on my storage and I see rat droppings everywhere. All over my furniture and clothes. This place is absolutely filthy. The manager said they weren’t aware of a rat problem when there is visible rat traps all over the property.! Disgusting!

Need major renovations. Doesnt do Bobs Storage name justice. In need of better safety features. Too expensive considering the drawbacks. Bad area so you gotta be looking behind your back the entire time you are moving your stuff. If they make improvements and lower costs the place can easily go from 2 to 4 in my book.

Went here looking for parking and a young lady named Stephanie told me that she could put me on a waiting list and would let me know when something would be available. I told her I need the space now so she actually Google searched nearby places that might help me. She was very kind and polite.

They (Michael and Ledney) were wonderful from the start of my experience up until the end. Very courteous and HONEST!!! I strongly suggest people store here. No complaints whatsoever!
