This is such a great place after having your mouth numbed from surgery. I do recommend having another menu put in further from the ordering window. This way people can decide what they want before they get to the window to order. It should speed up your drive through tremendously. Other than that, great all around. Than you for the experience.

The ice cream is good but this Dairy Queen is privately owned so they do serve the food normal locations do. So do not come here expecting anything fried. The hotdogs are decent that is what I had..

So funny to see young kids working these places that have been around forever. They did a good job. They were friendly and nice to one another. Oh and the strawberry cheesecake blizzard. Do it!! But you have to ask for whip cream. Thought that was SOP ?

Drive thru line moved very slow. Once we got to the window we saw why, there where only two people working at the time. Even though they were busy the person on drive thru was friendly and our items were made correctly.

Great place to get ice cream. Made very well and I recommend the Cookie Dough Blizzard. People there are very nice and would go there again

Absolutely the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. The only Sandwiches they offer are Barbecue chicken sandwiches so you dont want to go there if youre planning to eat lunch or dinner there. We walked in the door and the smell nearly knocked us off our feet and because of the stench we had to sit outside to eat our Blizzards and with the summer heat it all melted before we could enjoy it. I will never go back to that place!

Worst place in Plant City to work, they treat awful employees great and great employees awful. No wonder they didnt have help for weeks at time and had the lobby closed. The manager if you can even call her that is awful. She lets teenage kids under 18 run and close the place alone, not sure that is safe. They tolerate teenage boys threatening teenage girls. And its only cleaned properly when the owner or her husband come close for the night.

Ice cream is good, but it is not worth the long wait in the drive through! Cars are usually wrapped around building. 20-30 minute wait! I’ve seen many people turn around and leave. You would think that they would care about losing customers.

The line/wait is almost always too long. The ice cream is great. Visited specially to get the dreamsicle dip cone, but they didnt have it, even though it was on the menu board. The girl didnt even seem to know what it was.

Waited 15 minutes in drive through before coming inside and waiting 10 minutes for someone to take my order ... “Xavier” wearing name tag on the back of his hat was extremely rude, no people skills and lacking any kind of enthusiasm . Came up to me and just stared with his notepad while I stared back at him until he said “what’s your order” no other words out of him after saying thank you and such or anything. Acts like he had no idea what was going on and items were poorly made compared to others . I know this is family owned and was once a good place to come but is going downhill quite a bit. 30+ minutes to wait on ice cream is ridiculous. After putting them upside down the ice cream was falling out and he just says ooops and puts them back in... other girls were sweet and helpful but this is unacceptable .

Cannot go wrong with ice cream choices! It is a shame that at this time only drive thru is open until further notice. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our treats. This location is close to one of my doctors office. There plenty of parking available, but again only drive thru service at this time.

Went to the Dairy Queen and they only have the drive thru open. That wasn’t what was bad. The fact that they had 4 employees inside and you could see them standing around eating ice cream. They were not concerned about how long the drive thru line was. Very very unprofessional. They need some new employees.

I love this place. My family and I love their sweet treats. We have never had any complaints. They are very friendly and nice. I love the feeling of their dining area, even though it is small. That is why my family and I love it. I love that it is a old design. So many things have been changing and updating and it is refreshing to have something old fashioned. An oldie, but goodie. Wouldnt change this place for anything. Keep up the good work. ❤❤

Ordered a banana split ask for everything on it, I got no nuts, no cherry, all vanilla ice cream. Call and complained, she says you have to ask, $9 dollars, what a rip off, told her we would never be back there.And thanks so much, OWNER OF THE PLACE for your poor excuse of a reply.

It just takes forever to go through the drive thru but other than that its the best.

Waited in drive thru for 20 minutes and the only reason it wasn’t 25 minutes was because the van 2 cars ahead finally gave up and pulled out of line.

Great blizzard they make in variety of flavors

Waited half an hour in line for 3/4 of my order to be wrong. The chocolate dipped cone wasnt dipped at all, the medium Reeses was a medium heath, and the mini Reeses was a Mini Butterfinger. By the time I got home and realized it was already too late to go back because the store closed. So be sure to check your orders before you leave.

Love going to DQ but am sadly disappointed that the peanut buster parfait is not what it use to be. The picture does not depict what they serve. To help compensate the lack of a layer I ordered extra hot fudge. It so throws the balance of sweet and salty off so now not one of my favorites.☹️

Still has the inside closed but drive through takes over an hour. You think with half of their business cut off they would be quicker. Took 25 min to move forward two cars. Also has a rat infestation. I do not recommend them for any service. There is a complete circle around the building.

This location is very slow on processing orders. There was 2 people in front of us and we waited 30 minutes before our order was taken and then another 20 minutes before our one vanilla ice cream cone and one vanilla sundae was ready. No one wears gloves and the place is not clean. This was not our first time visiting here. It is always the same service.

They should make a bigger, newer up to date one. This place is always busy for good reasons.

Just made it into the drive-thru for a wonderful night time treat.

Got the Royal rocky road blizzard, OH my GOD it was extremely good. Loved the marshmallow in the middle, would definitely buy this Blizzard again!!!!!

This place is extremely slow, i just went there the line was long and i seen there were people in the lobby and at the counter standing shoulder to shoulder I went to the door and it was locked so i called inside and they told me the people just hanging out at the counter were friends and family of the owner. These people were not wearing masks or gloves. After waiting in line for 45 minutes another car load of friends and family pulled up and they opened the door let them in and said now people could come inside. This place has always been extremely slow and has the most unprofessional employees and management i have ever delt with. I will not be going back, best bet is to go to twisty treat.

Went to Dairy Queen for the new orange flavor ice cream custard. The picture show a orange top, but when we received our two, it looked yellow and had no taste like orange, didnt like the flavor, was expecting a orange taste. Star is excellent for the Dairy Queen service and a star for the orange flavored ice cream custard is poor, dont have a good flavored.

The food is good, the shakes are great, but the Blizzards are the all-time reason to visit Dairy Queen. I especially enjoy the Oreo or Cookie Dough. To top it all off, I have always found the service at this Dairy Queen to be outstanding. The staff is always friendly and courteous.

Great place for ice cream!

I wanted some creamy ice cream and Dairy Queen is the best place to go. I ordered a medium twist cone abd it was perfect for a day like today. Service was excellent and the staff was pleasant.

This location needs updating and to get with the times. They have none of the lunch special combos that are advertised on TV or like at other locations. You have to order when you get to the window which causes long wait times in the drive thru. You guys need a more streamlined drive thru process and need to get a intercom to place orders at prior to the window. On the other hand the ice cream is pretty good.

Waited 20+ minuets in the drive thru ordered a large cherry Sunday. The Sunday I got barley had any cherries in it I asked the server to add more she stated she put 2 scoops I showed her how bare her 2 scoops were and she would not put more cherries on my Sunday and gave me attitude about it! I requested my refund and she sarcastically told me to have a great day. I WILL ONLY GO TO BRANDON DAIRY QUEEN FROM NOW ON THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE MY SUNDAY RITE AND NOT GIVE ME ATTITUDE

I have mixed feeling about this store. The Cuban sandwiches are the best I have ever had and I will go out of my way to get one. The down side is the service. It always takes way too long and the employees are never friendly. Customer service makes a huge difference.

If u dont mind having to wait 5 minutes to even have your order taken while Riley plays on the phone then proceeds to gossip with co-worker afterwards to only pawn duties onto Joshua who was far more proficient then by all means visit.

This place is slower than the second coming of Christ. Not to mention no one wears gloves they all have their hand in the till touching money scratching their heads wiping their noses on the back of their arm scratching their balls. Need I say more. Then when I get my peanut buster parfait it is literally level with the top of the cup. This treat is clearly served with quite a bit of ice cream on top of it. I was almost sick from all of the chocolate syrup that they put in it and no ice cream. and since when did they start putting only half of a banana in a banana split? for the $11 it cost for these two treats we will definitely be going to Cold Stone Creamery in Valrico from now on. I believe they could definitely use some adult supervision in this location it is run by a bunch of kids.

This Dairy Queen is probably the worst Dairy Queen in the entire country and I will explain why. This Dairy Queen has not even been updated/remodeled since it has been established which was probably decades ago. Secondly, it is so small and dirty inside full of cheap arcade games with stale cakes sitting in the display case. Thirdly, the place is run by kids only and they are completely unprofessional, rude, and not hardworking at all. The staff closes the place half an hour early on Saturdays in the summer no less. The unprofessional and rude assistant manager is basically a kid who is the one who closes down the place very early, forcing all their customers to use the always crowded, congested, small/tight drive thru. Whatever you do please do not risk attending this poorly run establishment. You’re better off paying for ice cream at McDonald’s or something. You’ve been warned. All the negative reviews are very true sadly and occurs on a daily basis, trust me. Unless you’re willing to wait forever for very poor service, then it’s okay for you.

I am new to the area, and it is Strawberry Festival time. I did not realize number one that I was going right into the heart of the Strawberry Festival neighborhood nor number two they would be selling their parking spots at Dairy Queen for $10 for the Strawberry Festival. The man said $10 man I said no Im going to Dairy Queen it said no the sponsor for the Strawberry Festival I said no I am going into Dairy Queen the people who own this parking spot so I got out of my car proceeded to go into Dairy Queen dot-dot-dot I saw on the TV 2nd blizzard for 99 cents and I thought I would treat me and my best friend to blizzards. The young lady running them up both mediums at full price I said wait a minute isnt the second one 99 Cents oh you have the card she says no I replied I saw the ad on TV 99 Cents for the second blizzard oh you need to have the card she says I was speechless I told the other young lady stop making the buzzards dont even bother I was already irate that they were selling their parking spots to the Strawberry Festival and there was nowhere to park and now to go in and I did not even get what I wanted I will never go back to this place they were very non-compliant horrible horrible customer service!!!

So slow I almost left and the kid that took my order didn’t even ask me what I wanted to order he just picked up a pen and pad and stared at me without saying a word until I realized he was trying to take my order. After he brought my order I asked for spoons and instead of handing them to me he put them directly on the counter that everyone puts there hands and other things. Then he got an attitude when I asked for more spoons

Dont bother even pulling in if they close soon because despite what Google AND the two signs on the front of the building say, they close at 10 on Friday and Saturday. The woman who was working was very rude and instead of saying sorry guys were closed she saw us and decided to ignore us and pretend like she didnt see us standing there. Its a shame this is the only DQ near by.

I stood @ the counter for 10 minutes & was ignored. I watched the 2 young ladies attend to the drive thru vehicles that arrived way after Ive been standing @ the front counter. I guess its a blessing 4 me cause while standing I observed 1 of the young lady pick up lettuce that fell on the table and place it back on the sandwich or container with the other chopped up lettuce instead of the garbage can right next to the table. Whats the point of wearing 1 glove when preparing food if shes touching everything plus the food with her bare hand & the contaminated glove. Just saying. Obviously I walked away without ordering anything

25 minutes in drive thru. Still 2 cars ahead of me. This is utterly ridiculous and apparently needs new management. Will not come back.
