Thank you to Everglades Farm Equipment, I was able to get a belt for my 1965 John Deere 110. It hasnt cut grass in over 50 years. Now its up and running and mowing my lawn weekly.

They seem to cater to much bigger needs than a normal home owner. They had what I needed at a reasonable price. Just seemed a little annoyed dealing with a $20 purchase.They responded to this review and apologized. Assured me such is not the case. I had to go back for other parts a few weeks later. Things were much different. The person helping me made sure I had all the necessary hardware. No concerns.

Needed a zero turn mower to replace my dead Snapper. All the respected reviews (like Consumer Reports, etc.) recommended the John Deere zero-turn mowers over their closest competitors.I went and talked to Bill Porter in Plant City after registering online. Bill Porter listened to my needs, we decided on a Z345R after discussing the differences between E,M, & R series. They were out of stock as the John Deere plants were closed due to Covid 19.When they came in mid November, I went back and talked to Bill Porter once again. He honored both the Veterans Day bonus and the John Deere Platinum Veterans Bonus even though it added to his time by making a phone call to make the computer accept both discounts. I had decided on the extended warranty (labor is $120/hour now) also.We signed the contract and he said he would have it checked out and delivered Tuesday. Despite me spending only $3000, Bill treated me like I was his only customer despite interruptions about bigger possible deals by phone. We broke protocol and shook hands (yes I disinfected afterwards)..My wife became sick (non Covid) and I could not drop off check on Monday as agreed. On the power of our handshake, Bill had the lawnmower and paper work delivered Tuesday. Gas was full and the mower had been fully tested and adjusted. I traded a check for the keys and the mower runs great. Luckily I have 1/3 acre of empty field to practice as it is different steering than my ex-Snapper riding mower.Make sure you ask for Bill Porter - honest, no high pressure sales, or calling in the dreaded closer like a car dealership does.

Purchased used mower, began to have problems. Everglades was recommended. $600.00+ later still having problems. Called for parts, yes we have. Drive 30 miles round trip, have to order. I recently bought a lawn mower from Lowes. It had a faulty head gasket and I had to get it fixed. Lowes was useless for service, so I was told I had to bring it here. I learned my lesson, buy from the dealership. Anyway, I arrived and they were awesome. They made me feel I was important, not that I expected that, but someone actually said you are important not us. They unloaded the trailer and drove it off. They then called me and went to pick it up. Its fixed under warranty and they loaded it up. Great service cant complain.

The store and staff are great. Bought a John Deere gator and our sales person Bill Porter went above and beyond to find the exact one we wanted. Everything was ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. We will definitely use this store again.

Aaron and Butch were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when selecting my parts.

I will never buy another John Deere! And I will never bring my equipment to Plant City Everglades again! Pause they do especially if you did not buy your equipment from them overcharge you for everything double the price of anybody else they wanted $400 to put a $25 part on the deck. That involved nothing but taking the plate off unscrewing apart and putting back on the new one. Also they want it $125 for a back wheel for a zero turn just for the tire which I bought elsewhere for $45 mounted and out the door. This place is the biggest rip-off ever!!!! I only wish I could give it - 10 star

Dropped new Johndeer mower off for service 12 days ago.Supposed to hear from them in 5 to 7 days. Its now been 12 days and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I called after seven days and got an apology for not responding due to phones not workin and prommised they would get back to me next day. And today is day 12 and nothing. I bought a John Deer mover for more money because of what I thought they would provide great service for a great mower. But how wrong I was? Or is it just this location?From the guy that used to have the best yard in neighborhood to the worst lawn in the neighborhood........

Worse place ever got my dad a new John Deere gator not even a couple months later starter going out clutch went out back firing.Got it back still doing the same thing it’s still under warranty and they say they will call you back never will been told this over and over.Guess they are trying to wait until the warranty is out.
