I stopped by to get a waffle ice cream sandwich, and I will definitely be coming back for one of the other plates. The waffle was the best Ive ever had! Highly recommend 👍
The waffle was amazing. We had what they called the House waffle with strawberries, Nutella, chocolate, whip cream, and we added vanilla ice cream. It was one of the best desserts we ever had. We definitely got a lot for the price. Wish they had more locations in Texas like in Fort Worth or Arlington. The one we visited was inside a Food Hall which can get packed and warm inside but it is definitely worth it plus we just took ours outside to eat vs eating inside the food hall. A little tip if you dont eat a lot then this would be a great thing to share especially if you add ice cream like we did.
Meh.Thank you for the customer service, that was on point. But the waffle was dry and the was chicken too, I was told “we wanted to make it fresh as possible” so they made it in front of me.But the by the time I got to my desk (I’m only a 5 minute drive away) it was already cold and dry. You have to drench the waffle and chicken with syrup to get it to be moist. Quite unfortunate, I was really looking to get my socks knocked off. Taste was okay, also real maple syrup should be served hot, not room temp.
The waffles at this place is a absolute bliss!! Quick service and well made waffles. The prices are reasonable and the waffles tastes excellent. We cried the waffles with Nutella, cookie butter, peanut butter and whip cream. The peanut butter on the Waffles is must because it was simply out of the world. The ambience is very lively since the shop is situated in Legacy west where lot of other shops are there.Tip - check in with Yelp to get 10% off on your bill.
We ordered two the S’Mores waffle “The Happy Camper” (and added strawberries) and “The House” based on the employee that was workings recommendation and it did NOT disappoint. Yum! This is the prefect unique treat, that not only looks good but taste good. Also Legacy Hall offers such a fun vibe. Can’t wait to come back.
Food was amazing, eating at Legacy Hall was dreadful. For whatever reason I thought this was a standalone restaurant. Social media made it seem like that, I suppose. Not the end of the world, but its essentially in a fancy food court. The music inside was obnoxiously loud, too loud to have a comfortable conversation. So we tried to find a seat outside and my goodness, the music was twice as loud in the outdoor seating area.Just not a good experience if youre there with family. If you just want to go try some awesome waffles by yourself or to-go, then give it a shot
Saw a couple of Dallas natives on Shark Tank and by the mmmss and ummms, I had to try the anticipated waffles. So today was the day. Brought a few to help with the review. We got a classic waffle x strawberries x whip & caramel, chicken & waffles, and the House. Needless to say, I ate it all. Heres the good news, the chicken was tender, the strawberries fresh, and the amazing sugar bits you can taste in the waffle. Ends were a little hard, but the middle was a great consistency.I understand why the company gained some Shark Tank Investors, the square footage per traffic, plus notriety is a winning combination.Plenty of Press Waffle Co. trays filled Legacy Hall as the word of mouth rings loud and clear.Im not a pancake person but the drive and the go-see on what the hype was all about was valuable. Would I go again? Sure. Just not going to make it a special trip since Legacy Hall has a FEW awesome spots to eat!!!Next up S.O.B (Sons of a Butcher).
Everything looks delicious and it was! They have some waffles for you to choose from, sweet and savory, or you can customize yours. I will say that the price is on the higher end.I got a cross between The Happy Camper and The House, waffle with cookie butter, Nutella, strawberries, toasted marshmallows, and powdered sugar sprinkled on top. It’s a unique treat to get if you’re in the Legacy West area. Will definitely come back!
Super quick way to get a sweet and savory fix! Im normally not a huge waffle fan but these had a different texture than most and they were pretty good. The chicken was also very hot and fresh tasting. It definitely leaned more sweet than other chicken and waffles Ive tried, maybe because it was a little heavy on the syrup imo, but the (sweet-toothed) friend I split it with loved it. Overall pretty good!
The Nashville hot chicken waffle was surprisingly delicious. As someone who has been to Nashville and tried all sorts of chicken, the pieces on the waffle deserve a fair amount of praise. While not as spicy, the chicken did have great flavor and good crispy crust. Super friendly staff, tons of other options from sweet to savory, and great service. Will be back!
Stopped by for some dessert with some friends, they told me it has been featured on shark tank. Ordered the house as well as the happy camper, both were great but would highly recommend the house if it’s your first time. Loved the whipped cream here.
Went with the seasonal choice of pumpkin pie. The associate offered me a taste before I ordered it make sure I liked it, which was nice. It was heavily topped with nuts and looked delicious. Unfortunately it was cold, which is not how I expected it to taste. I already know that Im definitely trying the Happy Camper next time.
My sister and I went for Saturday Brunch. We asked for a fresh waffles with butter on it. The guy told us the ones sitting there were fresh and that they dont have butter, its in the batter, ok no problem. *deep breathGot our food, waffles were not hot or fresh and a little crispy for our liking. I will say that it really isnt a breakfast waffle, but a dessert waffle. Which is what well probably try when we go back. I wasnt disappointed, but I wasnt wowed either. OAN, we loved Legacy Hall and we had a great time.
Looked interesting. Ordered the Elvis.Didnt enjoy the doughy waffle and more than generous amount of peanut butter. It was too odd of a texture together to have more than a couple of bites. Felt like the waffle needed more cooking. Not my cup of tea or plate of food this one.
Oh...my god...the waffles here are freakin amazing. The taste was just wow. I thought I made good waffles but they not in the same league as these!😍 planned to also save some to take home, but devoured the whole thing it was so good😋 I wanna go back already to have more, and cant wait to try their other stuff!
My review is a bit late, but I love this place. I went in with high expectation and they delivered in every capacity. The waffle was amazing, fresh and it didnt take a long time for me to get my order considering the time of night I went. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and I really need to visit again.
My waffle was awful the chicken was old not worth $10.00 the worst chicken and waffle I every had.
Press Waffle Co. offers good sized liege waffles anytime you want it! My spouse and I got more desserty waffles, but they do offer some savory ones as well. You can build your own custom waffle, or order one of their premade topping sets. They seem a little pricey, but a single waffle and toppings is easily enough for two people to split.
Best waffles, hands down. I have not tried anything besides the House because it’s just too delicious to not buy.
So delicious & awesome customer service!! Nick was so kind and helpful!!
Hayden was super helpful and BEYOND kind. I’ve always really loved how good the waffles are but the wonderful service makes it that much better! Also the Tennessee chicken is SO GOOD.
Saw this on Shark Tank and had very high hopes. It unfortunately was not as good as it seemed. Ordered The House, which was a 6/10. It contains Nutella, Cookie Butter, Strawberries, and Whipped Cream. It tasted exactly like a belgian waffle you find in Costco and added these ingredients yourself. Was a decent experience, but I would not return.
Press Waffle is great...when it’s open. Been by twice in 2 days and it’s closed. Specifically came to Union for this and it wasn’t available. Guess I’ll need to find a new favorite.
Amazing, delicious. The house waffle is a dream. I recommend this place to everyone. Always have friendly, prompt service.
Best.Waffles.Ever. I love how they make them fresh and they are very filling. I like getting the cookie butter and strawberries because its no too sweet.
I was expecting to have some delicious waffles but honestly found it quite mediocre—also I did not enjoy the whip cream either; quite unfortunate.
Loved this place, waffles are served fresh.
New to Waco, this waffle place has some delicious waffles. Great location and easy to see/access from the street. The is a parking lot where the building is located. It was packed on Sunday, there were no spots available for parking and it will continue to be a full parking as more businesses open. However, there is parking available on the street. Waffles were delicious but a little bit high priced. I have to say, seeing waffles just sitting there when you order and its not made fresh makes me question if that is why waffles are sometimes hard and cold. Suggestion, maybe the business should cook to order the waffles to maintain freshness so that product is worth the price. Overall, great customer service and location. Love waffles and the concept of the business. I will be visiting again soon and will have an update.
Ordered the chicken waffle left came back 5-10 min later and was told they threw it away cause i was gone for 15 min, i was then told they were gonna make another one when he was making another one he was on his phone for 10 minutes and didn’t even start making my order and when i asked him how much longer for my order he was very impolite and pointed toward the dough as if “im making it” although that dough was sitting untouched for a good 10 min, employees are very rude.
They gave me an old waffle, cold and dry. Definitely not worth almost $10. It looked really good, but I came here to taste a fresh waffle... not happy.
I have eaten here lots of times . I usually get the house waffle, it is very yummy . I decided to switch it up and get the chicken and waffle one last night . BAD IDEA. He was very nice and told me that it would take a few minutes for him to “drop the chicken” . I waited and it came out . I ate it and it was good until I woke up at 1 am with a burning chest and stayed up all night throwing up . I don’t know if the chicken wasn’t fully cooked or what but it definitely ruined my love for this place . DONT GET THAT WAFFLE!
Sad to say. Took my family to try out this place and the customer service was horrible.. Im guessing they only have one employee working?? Employee seemed frustrated and we got cold waffles also when we got home my nephew found a hair in his waffle... of course it was from the ONLY employee working there. I understand being short staffed but how is that our fault? We didnt need the hostile attitude we can go somewhere else . Not worth the trip.
Stop at 10:20 am in Waco Texas was traveling and was told they were sold out when they opened at 9:00 am seriously I would think you would be more prepared don’t think I will ever try again and I will spread the word don’t do it it’s a setup for disappointment!!!!!
Great staff, fast service, awesome prices and absolutely wonderful tasting waffles. Definitely our favorite spot to do brunch in Legacy Hall. Grab your waffles, coffee, and a case of beer and share some laughs on the patio this weekend. Highly recommended.
My son & I went this morning to get chicken and waffles for the first time, and now its lunch time and we both agreed that we want Press Waffle Co. again for lunch, 😋so we are heading back up there. Lol. We went to the Plano TX location and I believe Jason is running that station today. Jason is amazing and so sweet, kind, and professional. Needless to say I absolutely love their waffles!! So yummy..
Great place when you have a sweet tooth. Although, it’s not the place if you want to feel full afterwards.
I have not had the pleasure of tasting the waffles.but boy so they look delicious.you guys should come to Kyle texas.please take my advise you wont regret it.
Probably the best waffles I’ve had. So grateful we stopped by and tried the house and the salted caramel pretzel. Surprisingly they weren’t overly sweet! Definitely look forward to coming back.
Great place for waffles! Located inside Legacy Food Hall bottom right hand corner. Fresh made waffles with soft inside and crunchy outside and a large list of toppings. Make sure you check them out to satisfy all your waffle cravings!
We had a Elvis waffle and it was so good!!! My boyfriend and I shared it and it was very delicious. The people who worked there worked very quick and were extremely nice!! We will definitely be going back.
This place serves up some tasty tasty waffles! I would highly recommend making your own! I got mine with Nutella, peanut butter, bacon, and powdered sugar! My taste buds legit exploded. And I can’t wait to go back and try other combinations!
Absolutely delicious! The waffle is crunch on the outside and soft inside. Love the location as well! Definitely going back!
These are fantastic!! Very worth while visit if you are coming to the Food Hall! I would recommend the lemon zest waffle the most.
OMG, I just found my favorite dessert place. Our server was very friendly, and fun. He prepped my waffle in front of me and watching him put it together raised my excitement, once we found a seat, the waffle was gone in less than 5 minutes, it was so good. This is going to become our regular.
One word to describe Press waffle co...indulgent. these waffles are delicious! The House is everything I imagined with the nutella and strawberries, and the American was perfectly balanced for a more traditional breakfast. We will definitely be back often!
TL;DR: Get one of the specialties--or build your own with a lot of toppings--but skip on getting a plain or minimalistic waffle.Loved the variety of toppings available, which will satisfy any sweet craving you have. Unfortunately, I dont find the waffles themselves to be great--they were pretty dense and almost tough. Now, Ive only had Liege waffles once before because they are so hard to come by, but I remember it being lighter than this one. Maybe its just because the other time I had it (Waffallonia, in Pittsburgh), it was made fresh, whereas these were sitting out already and then reheated.
OMG!! I did not know...my waffle was brick hard and moderately warm. It’s probably good with ice cream - to soften the waffle. I asked for a waffle cooked light and noticed that they were already sitting out so don’t expect cooked to order!! Did I mention that my waffle was HARD!!!!Sorry I purchased chicken and waffle ($10) with maple/bacon.My husband had a Philly Cheese Steak....smart Man!!
Came here around 3 and was greeted with a welcoming smile and impeccable service from the worker Makenna Daniels. The waffle was amazing and I will definitely be coming here again.
Press Waffle is amazing!! I’ve gotten a dessert waffle multiple times and each of one I’ve had has been absolutely delicious! They are made fresh before your eyes and they don’t disappoint!
I had the lumberjack waffle with eggs, cheddar and syrup and it was SO good. I went for a late night snack, but it was also be perfect for breakfast or brunch! They have so many waffle options for so cheap!
Just saw this place on Shark Tank this past Sunday and had to come taste. Got the ‘Home,’ and it was AWESOME! I absolutely love Belgium waffles...and with the toppings...MAGNIFICENT! 😊
As I was in the mood for a savory waffle, I had the soulman. The waffle was excellent; very dense but light at the same time. The sweetness in it was perfect, not too much and not too less. The bacon was decent as well and had a good smoked flavor to it. The chicken was average, however. Wasnt anything special, but the dish overall was fantastic. The guy who took my order was also very friendly, and customer treatment is important to me. Will definetely be back! But next time, i will get a sweet waffle😁
I consider myself a waffle aficionado. I’d prefer to give it a 4.5 but couldn’t give it a 5. The waffles are darn delicious but for the price, I expected more (in volume that is). I was like ‘where’s the the other half of it?’ 6/5 from a taste standpoint, but the cost value wouldn’t allow me to rate it a 5.
Excited to try after watching the guys on The Shark. Went with friends--I ordered the lemon curd, blueberry waffle. I was disappointed that I could not taste the drizzle of lemon curd. The first word for this waffle is lemon curd and I thought lemon curd would be the dominate taste. The waffle and the blue berries and the whipped cream was delicious--for the price and no lemon curd i give this dish 2 stars-
Attention to detail, even when rushed. Food was good and fairly priced. Location inside legacy hall makes it the perfect splurge for a date night on a nice summer evening.
Soooo good! I had the strawberries one and it was so delicious. I love that you can make your own combo and the staff is so nice and welcoming! 10000 stars!
