This five star review is for the service and kindness I received from their team and manager. We had placed an order for relatively simple tooth shaped cookies for pick up next day and the lady whom took my order was nice enough to send me a photo of one finished cookie before they continued so I could determine if I was happy or not. She obliged and I later got a text with the photo of two of the cookies. I will admit I wasn’t as thrilled with the art as I thought I would be and I politely asked if she would redo it as it just wasn’t my standard. I felt bad but she was kind and said she would have them redone and she sent me another picture. It was better but not still to the typical standard I had seen in their shop displays, but as we were pressed for time to have them picked up, I said that would be good enough. When I went to pick them up, the lady was very nice and she apologized (even though I wasn’t unhappy and hadn’t complained) and said they were just going to give me the cookies as their regular cookie artist walked out on her shift so the whole team was scrambling to fulfill orders, and she was apologizing because she felt bad for not telling me before when I asked to have her redo the design which if I knew their situation I would have been totally understanding. The cookies did turn out very cute and they were so nice to me. That’s the way you handle tough situations. Great job guys and thank you.

Placed an order on Dec 17 to be delivered on Dec 22. Customer service called to let me know it would be delayed, and offered to overnight it. Order still didnt show up 7 days after the phone call and they offered to overnight AGAIN. Still didnt show up 5 days after the second offer to rush deliver. Customer service was accommodating, but the least a business can do is deliver an item after an order is placed.

I like a lot of icing on my cookies so when my wife called and ordered them she ask for extra icing and they did not disappoint. Thanks cookies where so good.

Exceptional service. We placed an order using the wrong address by mistake (not realizing a friend had moved), Cookies & Cupcakes by Design called the recipient and myself to confirm the order had been delivered and realized OUR mistake. I received a call back from the shop stating that they would be creating another order and delivering it to the correct address on our behalf.Completely UNSOLICITED ACT OF KINDNESS to help correct a mistake that wasnt theirs to begin with! Sincerely impressed with the customer service of the Plano shop.

I was hopeful after much communication that they were going to make my special order baby shower cookies, Alexis even agreed to do it after the Fort Worth location wouldnt respond. However after this last week, Im not getting any call back or return email. A very disappointing business practice

I give it 3 stars b/c the truth is the cookies were cute and the ordering process online was super easy. I placed the order for noon b/c my boss was leaving at 1:30 today, so I figured if they arrived a tad late, no biggie. Its now 2:39, the guy walked in, dropped the box at the front desk, DIDNT SAY A WORD and walked out. Seriously? So yay! I have the cookies....NO BOSS.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I love this place. I can literally live off of their iced sugar cookies. The staff is kind and always smiling. The one gal who works the front always speaks to my son and offers him dots when we go in. Great treats for families. They get my business about once or twice a week but definitely around the holidays.

Not sure why they have their hours posted on the website and on the door as open until 6:00 PM when the doors are locked at 4:30 on a Friday? Disappointing. I understand everything going on, but no note on the door or anything. Just closed early?

I paid $35 for overnight shipping for Valentine’s cookies. A total of $85 for a small batch of cookies, which is completely absurd, but I really wanted to give a nice surprise. I absolutely would not have ordered these at all if there was not a way to have them delivered today. It is now 8pm and the cookies are not here. A complete waste of money, no gift for my significant other, and out almost $100. Completely unacceptable.

Multiple times this company has accepted and not delivered on gluten free orders. Do not take gluten free orders, take credit card #s, and then decide to cancel those gluten free orders FOUR days later. Why offer gf products at all when you can’t follow through? Absolutely pathetic. Who runs your company and how is it still open?

Beginning with the ordering process, everything was extremely user friendly. Had no problem finding the size or style bouquet that I wanted! Changing the messages on the cookies was also extremely easy. The shipping was a little pricey, but I was shipping from TX to WV, so I wasnt too mad about it! Cookies looked great upon arrival! And tasted YUMMY! Will definitely be ordering again! :)

Had to find something quick for my sisters birthday since she wasnt going to be at work the day before her birthday. I needed to have it there by Thursday. Went online Wednesday, found a cute basket of cookies, placed my order and it was delivered the next day. She was so excited to get it and said the cookies were delicious and the basket was so cute! What a great experience for me! Definitely will order from them again!!

I really appreciate the variety in designs and options. I was able to order a Halloween cookie bouquet AFTER Halloween. I was not able to do that with an online florist. I also love the ease of ordering online and the way the online ordering system is set up. It was quick and there were no web errors. I also appreciate the delivery person following my extra instructions perfectly. (and the cookies are always fresh and delicious, too!)

I called in with a bit of an odd request, I needed some unicorn cookies but with ANGRY expressions. Not a problem! The cookies looked exactly how I hoped and on top of that, they tasted INCREDIBLE. Worth every penny.

They have plenty of options to choose from no matter what occasion youre getting the gift for. But my personal favorite feature that they offer is the Same-Day Delivery Service. If you procrastinate like me, this service is definitely a lifesaver when you find yourself looking for a gift at the last minute.

Theyve been great and my clients that have received the cookies with their logos on them LOVE THEM! They say that its a special touch and shows we went out of our way to personalize the gift. This place did my baby shower cookies and they were beyond what I expected. The manager was extremely helpful and was willing to let me be difficult. She walked me through options and helped me find what cookie design best went with my theme. Not only were the cookies super delicious, but they looked great as well, its hard to get both but not here. She even helped me load them in my car. I am now obsessed with their iced sugar cookies! They have a new loyal customer.

Love love love!!!! The thoroughness of the customer service department. I received a call almost immediately about something I missed on my purchase that would have been so awful to mess up on the bouquet! Many gluten free options. The receiver mentioned they were soft and had a great texture. I ordered these as a thank you gift, for a friends hospitality. I am so happy with my purchase for my nephews 10th birthday. He was so excited to receive his basketball themed bouquet, he called me immediately after receiving it. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my wife at her school (shes a teacher) on Valentines Day. I ordered a week in advance. My $75 order went through just fine, didnt give any indication that delivery would be late. When I called at 2pm to check the status, I was told they didnt start deliveries until 1:30pm. Is this wise on Valentines Day? It didnt make it to my wife by the end of the school day, and other arrangements will now have to be made. I understand a high volume of deliveries on holidays, but you would think they could start a little earlier so that a teacher gets her gift on time. I wont be ordering from here again. Dont be that husband and make the same mistake I did. Disappointed.

My Experience with Cookies by Design was perfect. There were many choices on the website. The basket was delivered as promised and the cookies are exactly what I requested (and paid for). The assorted cookies were delicious and each came individually wrapped. I highly recommend them!

One star is too much. Ordered a cookie cake over a week in advance for me to pick up; cookie was not even made, order had not even been printed according to the rude young girl working the store on delivery day. Got her to confirm what time she COULD get my order ready, returned again to pick up my order and it still was NOT ready and the doors were locked even though it was during their posted business hours. Customer Service at the corporate office helped me on getting this resolved after the fact, owner/manager of the store could not give me the courtesy to call me back to discuss the issue. I would not EVER use this location if you want your order. I have used the Denton/Lewisville store and have never had an issue in the past, however, the store in Plano is awful.
