Had a pleasant experience here for the most part. Staff was very polite and helpful. I went in for a new bowl for my water pipe and was sold on a unique teacup design. Was stoked about my purchase and went to go use it and found it had manufacturer defects. The bottom portion of the bowl that seats onto the down stem was warped and bent to the left. What appears happened is the glass was too hot when this bowl was made causing it to slant over.Mistakes happen and Retro tried to remedy the issue. I took off the sticker so they wouldnt take it back. No biggie, its their rules Im not gonna complain. I want to give this joint 5 stars but the quality control is lacking. If the inventory was examined before offered for sale this would have been avoided.Once again, great experience other than my product. Ill be coming back, but make sure you check all your glass before purchase. Shoutout to Brian and Brandon for the great customer service.

Had a great experience and have to share....I went to Retro Revolution in plano the other day. The staff was not only friendly and helpful but they were extremely knowledgeable on all the products there...I actually learned a lot! I highly recommend it to everyone as not only are they great but their prices are really good too compared to other places.

My wife and I were enjoying our day off until we walked into Retro Revolution Plano! Being our first time in this shop, we were taking our time and looking at everything. We had found a few really nice treasures as we made our way around and were just about to add a bit more when out of no where we were asked to leave. I am at a loss as to why, we were not being offensive, we were not being loud or unruly, we did not say any of the forbidden words or phrases. I never saw anything about a time limit on looking at the merchandise and there is alot to browse through. Unfortunately, I am left to wonder, were we taking to long admiring the amazing selection or maybe the attendants made the mistake of assuming we wouldnt be a high ticket sale or possibly it was the fact that we are proud members of the LGBT community. Whatever the reason may be, this type of behavior is misrepresenting the business as a whole. I am truly hurt over Retro Revolution actions and will never return to any of their locations.

Retro in Plano has always been my go to spot. From glass, to papers to any smoking accessories. The new employees as of a month ago or so are not very knowledgeable but beforehand staff was great. The glass options are still okay, but the new staff members seem lost.

Great place to find all your smoking needs. The guy who helped (his name was Michael) was super chill and answer anything I asked about any of the products. He also made sure I knew how to take care of my bong I bought from there and made sure that when I got home I knew how to refill my torch. I love the great deals and will definitely be coming back.

He helped me gather an assortment of products, in which he knew everything about, for my husband, and it was a lot of fun hunting for the right pieces to make a gift. This place is a go to. Josh helped me so much in choosing a new hookah set up after my original bowl broke. I had an older model hookah that they didnt have parts to. Not only did he call around to try and find me the piece that I needed, he was willing to give me my money back for the bowl I bought from him that didnt fit my set up. I ended up buying a whole new one, and he even saw to it to give me a discount for my troubles. They have an awesome selection and are extremely helpful in choosing products that I didnt know about. Josh was never pushy and made me feel like Ive known him for years. I will be going here from now on for all my tobacco and hookah needs. THANKS JOSH! 5 stars!

Ive been trying to find a store for awhile thats that has 70s clothes and jewelry and this seem to be a great match. I enjoy looking around at all the unique things they have as well. I love this place! Everyone there is extremely nice and incredibly knowledgeable. They know their products really well, and they also know the industry. The store itself is pleasant to go into. Whereas most stores of its type are sterile, this place makes you feel like you walked into Woodstock circa 1969. They have clothes and bags as well as some extremely clever accessories. The glassware selection is top-notch, ranging from $28 up to well over $1,000. They have a wide selection of products with a focus on quality. Great place to shop.

I love their incense and body jewelry. The clothes are too overpriced. Not sure why because it all just looks like 70s goodwill. Their body jewelry is my favorite because they actually have my size (1 3/8ths, 36mm) which is hard to find in stores. The workers are okay but very sketchy. They probably dont drug test because the last time I was there, the lady behind the counter was talking to a customer about how shes coming down off of heroin. That totally made me not want to come back. Over all its an okay place.

This is not just a smoke shop. They have something for everyone. Employees do their job by asking for ID, even though Im close to 60. Theyre also very knowledgeable in regard to their products. No mask rules. when I walked in a literal dozen customers had no masks on whatsoever and this place is already pretty cramped. Asked the guy behind the counter if they had masks rules and he casually said naw man so I just turned around and walked out. There are 3 other headshops in that same street and all require masks, just walk to one of those. The Retro in Greenville does a better job.

I took a trip to the Retro Revolution in Plano to see if anything peaked my interest. Once I stepped inside, it was like I was at home. Everyone was very welcoming, Especially Kyle. He greeted me when I walked inside and showed me around. I told him I was interested in some type of device that would help me with dry herp vaporizing. He pointed to the Arizer Extreme Q. I fell in love immediately when I saw it had all the options I was looking for. It came as a shock with how in-expensive it was compared to other machines. He took the time to talk with me about the machine and its capabilities and I was set on it. I was very happy knowing I was being taken care of as well as getting a good machine that I knew would work. I would completly reccomend coming here and speaking with Kyle when you can!

Went in for tapers again and the guys remembered me from my last experience and definitely took care of me !!! I even found a cute piece for my cartilage and had to buy it as well. Best customer service by far, this location is my new favorite. I will definitely be back for more stuff 💖💖 The guys there were super friendly as always!!

Well, it was better than a kick in the face with a golf shoe. Almost a complete waste of time. Almost. I think between the three people working there, they had maybe as many brain cells. And all those belonged to the girl working. Hope you like Patchouli, because youll be breathing it for a week. I prefer Nag Champa myself. Barely decent selection of useful items. They have a lot of horrible clothes, so if youre into that, kudos. I will probably, most definitely, and honestly not return. Too many other shops to stick to the drab.

These guys are the best. Always smiling and answer every question to the best of their knowledge, and when they don’t know, they ask another employee. They go to the back to check for product that’s not on the shelf and they have a ton of knowledge in Kratom and cbd. Josh and Chris specifically are the bees knees.

Edit: Since my initial experience with Retro Revolution, the owner reached out to me and we talked via Email. My complaint was taken seriously. The owner was a lovely woman who was determined to make the situation right. I was assured that the producer of the product has been informed about the issue with the weight and intends to figure out what went wrong. Hopefully they can fix the issue. Thecustomer service I received was unparalleled, and for that alone, I give it 5 stars. Its also worth noting that the employees are friendly, helpful, and patient and will answer any questions you may have about their products. The store itself is nice, clean, and well stocked with all sorts of items. I would recommend this store over any others as they really care about their customers.Original review: Nice shop, but when I just went to buy kratom, I bought a 30g bag only to weigh it when I got home and see it come out to 25g WITH the bag. -__-
