Performed a google search for “braids near me” and Braider Zee came up. I called and we discussed her doing passion twists using human hair. I sent her pictures of the style and the hair. She was hesitant because she had not worked with human hair before and was concerned that she might not be able to give me what I wanted. I assured her that I had done this style before using the same human hair and that I was willing to take the risk of it not working well.I have to say, that my style is fabulous and no one could believe that this was her first time using human hair for passion twists. My mother who is not a fan of braids/twists said Braider Zee was “exceptional, a star”. I couldn’t agree more, I love my passion twists using human hair.Thank you Braider Zee for being willing to experiment, and take a risk with me. First time ever getting locs, and I was SO nervous and even more confused! Zee was incredibly patient and helpful, explaining the differences and helping choose something that worked for me.The shop atmosphere was wonderful — so relaxed and just nice. The conversation was the perfect shop talk — ebbs and flows with no pressure to chat or perform.Zee was exceptional and FAST (2.5 from walking in to walking out), and the end result was phenomenal. I cried! I have never felt more like myself or felt so beautiful. The compliments have been nonstop — including from people who don’t even like me! The best experience I could have hoped for — I will definitely be returning!

Braider Zee is the best hair braided I have been to here in Dallas! She was very accommodating to the style I wanted and my schedule. I live less than 15 minutes away so the location was very convenient. Upon arrival I noticed you can purchase hair care items as well at the shop which was a big plus as it saves times to go the the beauty supply! The shop was also clean, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Braider Zee to anyone looking for a professionally done braided hairstyle. Plus I loved my hair!!! Got soo many compliments on them.

$200 for Crochet... less than a month and the braids came apart. Knotted the hair incorrectly and it caused the hair to tangle. Went back in and she made excuses and wouldnt close her mouth and just listen... Dont waste your moneyUPDATE: Blame it on your colleague. I came back the next day and told you the braiding and crocheting was not up to pair and you just keep justifying instead of listening. Do a better job. I normally do my hair myself and it last at least two months...I was treating myself by letting you do it and you ruined the entire experience. I agree on the previous post...wait a week and then come comment... your braids will be loose and all over the place

Braider Zee is awesome! She was very accommodating to my schedule. The location is very convenient, as you can purchase hair care items needed to maintain your style at the same location!This shop was damaged in February during the snow storm, but you would never know! It is a bright, clean, and welcoming environment that I would recommend to anyone looking for a professionally done braided hairstyle.

It was my first time getting soft locs and I love the way my hair looks! The owner was very professional, very nice, and I can tell that she loves her work by the way she treated me and my hair. I feel so much pain when I brush through my own hair but she did it so gently I did not realize when she had combed through half of my hair. She created such a positive environment, happily answered my millions of questions, and worked magic on my hair. Braider Zee is the only place I will go to do my hair.

This was the easiest and fastest braiding experience I’ve ever had! I’ve been wearing a tiny Afro for over 5 years and I was very surprised when Zee told me she would have no problem doing box braids on my very short hair.The braids were neat and exactly how I wanted them! Time really flew by because Zee is so nice and gentle. I was never in pain. I remember going to other braiders and leaving with a headache and stiff neck, that did not happen with Zee.The shop is neat and clean. You can even pick up some hair care products before you leave.I highly recommend Braider Zee! Worth every penny!

Zee is a WONDERFUL braider and all around person. This was my first time getting my hair braided in about five years. Scheduling was easy! I sent her a pic of what I was looking for, she responded quickly with a good rate and we scheduled our appointment. She was very professional and let me know well in advance that she was running an hour behind on the day of our appointment. And when I arrived she was just finishing her other client and I was immediately seated to she started on my braids. Her work area was very clean and welcoming and we both wore masks which was reassuring during these times. I really enjoyed our conversation while she braided my hair. She’s so easy to laugh and get along with. And only 5 hours later my hair was done and I love it! Very cute box braids, customized to my likes and no damage to my natural hair! I’ll definitely be back.

Braided Zee is amazing!!I’ve been going to her for my loc maintenance for years. Always professional and does a great job. Fast and efficient. The end results never looks rushed. Can do almost anything you ask, all you need to do is send a picture and Braider Zee will get it done .Work last longer than other I’ve been to and she will even converse with you while getting you right.It’s amazing how she remembers details about her customers. Makes you feel right at home.Highly recommended for braided and locs.Can palm roll and/or interlock. Also can repair thin sections in your locs if you had someone do a subpar job on them.

I contacted Zee Saturday morning, and had an appointment on that same day! She is meticulous, thorough, and worth every penny. My hair is soft and thin, so I usually can only wear a braided style for a few weeks. But, with the quality of her work, I expect that it will make it into the New Year. My braids are beautiful, and look exactly like the picture that I showed Zee. I will be back... just not as soon as I thought I would need to- LOL!IF you want beautiful braids, at a good price, done in a clean environment (COVID-19 IS REAL), than do yourself a favor, let Zee bless you. Loved the experience here, she honored every request & concerns I had . She did a very clean and neat braids for my daughter she even put beads on them for her to make them look more kiddie. Can’t wait to go back !! Would definitely recommend and it didn’t take long.

This is an update to my initial review that was given. I feel that a person should WAIT to review for about 1-2 weeks as this gives you time to report on the care that was given to your hair and not how it looks when you leave the salon. I have experienced great pain from pulling and braiding corn rows for crochet hair. I’m very disappointed that even though I spoke with and confirmed that the style could be performed on a person experiencing alopecia and still the excessive pulling on the hair and crochet hair being pulled through such thin hair which caused even more pain plus additional breakage. I’m just stunned at how anyone would feel ok with performing such damage to an already damaged hair. This is unacceptable! If your ok with pulling of your hair just to sport a style then I guess you’ll be ok. I’m not and feel very taken advantage of being that I was up front about my hair and what would be safe but after a week of pulling my thin hair out I’ve decided to terminate t he style and warn the public to beware. The rating is Disappointed!

I had a re-twist done with my hair. I don’t like waiting in shops, she was timely, professional and I love how she did my hair. I am tender - headed and it didn’t hurt. Had a few squints but I am extremely pleased with the results.

Paid 350 for passion twists that only lasted for about a week in a half before braids started coming out, the hair used became matted and tangled, and braids became loose at the root. Contacted the owner and she refused to refund any amount only offered to try and detangle the hair. The hair used was POOR quality and the braiding was also poor quality. Sorry but that’s too much money to spend on a hair do that lasted less than a month.
