I usually never leave bad reviews, but today 10/24/21 I experienced poor service @12:08 while ordering my Nova lox bagel. After entering th store I was haphazardly navigated to the register where I was treated with minimal customer service. She stared at me blankly as I attemp to order my bagel. I bumped this up to a 3 star because I got my food and it was great!

Was craving a fresh bagel and they delivered. The only thing is for one bagel with cream cheese it was like 4$. Which isnt a lot of money, but for just a bagel? I guess they are to bagels like Starbucks is to coffee. I will go again. Though definitely not for just something so simple.

This particular location struggles with the basics. The store wasnt put together well, it looked like things were just thrown around, and I waited 20 min for one sandwich. The young lady that seemed to be in charge, did not have good communication skills. She barked orders at the staff and at the customers. There was also a lot of tension behind the counter. There were several times they could be heard cursing at each other. Overall it was just a bad experience. There are other Einstein Bros. close enough, I would drive further to go to a different store.

Monday morning breakfast and it was soooo good!! Not a burrito and definitely not a sandwich! Yummy!!

I love Einstein bagels! And I feel very confident in writing this review as I have given this location 6 years worth of my business and something changed within the past 2-3 years. This location cannot get my order right. Its very disappointing when you communicate very clearly what you want, the order is printed correctly on the receipt and the staff toasts the wrong bagel (burns it), and heats up the other bagel. The only solution is to ring up your order into separate transactions if you want what your ordered and still have a 50/50 shot of getting it right. The only guarantee at this location is that your order will be wrong. I have had to drive numerous times back to this location to get my order right and the issues never get rectified despite the changes in staff. If management doesnt check thier staffs work, this location will continue to lose business. I will be taking my business to the Preston location as i refuse to pay for mistakes any longer.

First, you might be surprised by how versatile bagels are. We landed here because the first three breakfast restaurant that we visited were full on a late Sunday morning, but we enjoyed thoroughly the Bagel sandwiches that we ordered and ate. My wife particularly wants to return to sample one of the hoity-toity coffee-like drinks.

I went here for breakfast because my wife was delivering a baby right down the street. The staff had two ladies at the front taking orders. You could feel the tension between them. They did NOT like each other. It made it kind of awkward.The food was... Bleh. I ordered a bacon and egg brunch special. The bacon was thin and not seasoned well. The hash brown was a clump of compressed potatoes. Not good.I ordered a Cold Brew Vanilla Sweet Cream coffee. The lady up front gave it to me and said, you fill up your own cream over there and pointed to an area inside. It was bad.All in all. My food was edible. I hadnt eaten real food in a day since I was at the hospital. I dont now if I would give Einstein Bros Bagels a second chance.I hope your experience is better than mine.

Their bagels are very good. Always get many extra to freeze for later. Theyre getting ppl in and out fast, still wearing masks (in case you wondered). Best bagels next to Cindys Delicatessen without driving there!

Its been years since Ive been in,but I woke up this morning craving an Everything Bagel with Veggie cream cheese. I had one and an hour later I went back and bought 2 more. They were just as good as I remembered them.WOW! So good it will not take long till I go back.Yum

I like Einstein bagels but this location is the worst Ive been to. The checkout person was unpleasant, and clearly annoyed about everything. I recommend going to another location.

Food was ok but the bottled juice was watered down. Cashier didnt get my order right.

Man it was great to see you guys were open again, great tasting bagels however the pretzel bagels didnt look like pretzel bagels at all they were light blonde colored I thought that was strange and the lady behind the counter when I ordered the cheese and bacon bagel she asked one or two as if I knew what one or two meant she didnt mention the fact she was talking about eggs left me perplexed.

This location did not have a lot of bagel options and there were no pickles to go with my meal. I don’t like that you can’t see the baked goods either. I wanted a muffin, but they weren’t on display so I wasn’t sure if they had any.

I use to really enjoy this bagel place, but I think the time has come for me to take my money eslewhere. Dont get me wrong, Ill always purchase Einstein Bros. Bagels, THEIR GREAT... just not at this specific store. Today was the third negative experience Ive had at the same place so I decided to write a review. The service could have been a lot better. I did not get to choose the specific Bagels I wanted ( they didnt even ask me). And the place did not even have a good variety (the racks were mostly empty). But, even with all of that, what really convinced to give a two star rating was the way my bagels were cut, or a better word would be destroyed.The second star is there because the place is still a cozy place to sit down and eat, I know for a fact that manybpeople enjoy it. But please find a way to cut bagels more efficiently.In the future, Ill visit again and consider to give this store a better rating. Just remember to give DELIGHTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Keep the client happy, smile, and treat them like if they were royalty even if you dont truly feel it. If the customers are happy, theyll keep coming and bring more people and your business grows.

I think their bagels and cream cheese are great. But for the price of their sandwich items it’s pretty expensive and inconsistent. If I order lox sometimes it is stuffed with salmon, other times it’s barely any fish but giant globs of cream cheese. So I usually just buy their wonderful bagels and cream cheese then make my own sandwiches at home. I save some money that way and it’s basically the same thing. So try their bagels but take them to go and fix them how you like at home.

It’s has gone down hill. It uses to be great, now since I think they changed owners...it’s dark, way understaffed and always out of a lot of their bagels.Manager told me “ this is what we have, take or leave it” seriously? Wow...well I’ll leave it! Bye! Never again...you at not the only Bagle place in Plano!!!

Enjoy the curb side pickup here, and you cant beat the free coffee you get if you order through the app. I know I sound like an ad now, but no, u just really like coffee.

So for now they are only doing take out. We ordered, were served timely and left. As we got home to eat we discovered 2 orders were missing the nova lox. DO CHECK YOUR ORDER B4 LEAVING! Has to go back but they were very gracious and refunded our money and fixed the order for us to take with us. So despite the error and inconvenience these folks did all possible to rectify and compensate. We are more than satisfied and will return!

Einstein Bros is great. However, this location consistently has early shortages of bagels compared to other locations and has failed to adapt.Update: I have not recently seen the perpetually bitter, angry, and entitled staff including the snarky manager. The staff now appears more genuinely friendly, competent, and attentive.The quality of products and service has increased including more supply of higher demand products.

Service was slow and staff seemed overwhelmed with five or so customers in line. Food was as expected. They were out of coffee of all flavors and had to wait a while.

Checkout line was a jumble where you have to go past the pickup place to make your order. Great service and food

Well I guess I havent been there for a while cuz I used to order the veggie Bagel sandwich for breakfast so I called and placed my order and basically said veggie Bagel sandwich well when I got there I got the herbivore which was an open-faced sandwich and usually the sandwiches usually come with a pickle and chips well since he said the herbivore didnt which is basically the same thing as the veggie hummus sandwich or have onions tomatoes spinach except the cucumbers and did not get any pickle or chips overall its a good sandwich

Love these bagels! Our favs... The everything bagel with a schmear of garden veggie cream cheese and the spinach Florentine bagel toasted. The staff are working so hard to make everything safe for shoppers. Thank you!

Good place to grab a quick breakfast after a workout on the weekends. Probably the only option around that is open in the early morning. The service is fast and the bagels are always good. Coffee and a bagel hard to resist

Every time I have ordered delivery, they have come incredibly late causing our meetings to go behind or we have to stop our meeting because they finally showed up. They do not even apologize! They need to work on showing up on time and better customer service.

Very disappointed this location use to be good. I asked the district manager directly why the lights for the menu were all off.. his reply was that it gets too hot so he shuts them off at different points of the day. I asked him how he mitigates his customer experience in the dark. He only repeated to me that it gets hot so they shut them off. At 7:30 in the am. While this conversation was happening the girl toasting my bagel was running her hands along the counter surface out of boredom and proceeded to handle my bagel then handed me the bag covered in cream cheese. Not cute.

The staff was friendly and the space inside was big! But during the Covid 19 no one can really seat inside. The bagels where just fine but the coffee station didnt seem to be as clean. I have been to other location that make you feel like part of the bagel family.

The staff! I have never seen such bad turnover. There used to be a great group of guys that worked here but now when I come (every few weeks or so) there’s a new group of people that very clearly don’t want to be there and are always extremely careless and unprofessional. Someone needs to come in and take charge of this place. I gave it 3 starts because the food is still good and is decently fast.

Great prices for breakfast

Bagels were good but I ordered and paid for a hot black tea then was told they didn’t have hot black tea. Not offered a refund. I asked for a cup to put hot water in since I keep a tea bag in my purse. Other customers had to direct me to the hot water. It was not evident. The selection was very slim considering they don’t close until 3.

I hate to write this review but it’s needed. I have been a frequent customer of this location for a couple years. In the past few months it has been on a quick decline. The restaurant is dirty and the workers seem under trained. The setup has changed to order and it’s now a horrible experience. My sandwich for my wife today had no egg... how does that happen? I get it, new staff and busy, but you have lost my business. The only reason why I didn’t give 1 star was because the manager was working so hard to keep everyone happy. She deserves a raise!If the owner wants to talk about ways to improve please reach out. I live close by and I am willing to sit down and help. Please make this what used to be an enjoyable spot back to what we all now miss. Thank you for reading.

This Einsteins has gone downhill so much. Used to love to come here after runs or bike rides. Now they are understaffed, And the bagel selection has diminished. Coffee is still pretty good though.

Free bagel day. I ate it as lunch. It was perfect soft, toasted fresh. They made a fresh pot of their vanilla coffee for me. Even though Im not a fan of flavoured coffee it was very good and robust.

Excellent service and food

I went well before this place was about to close but they had ran out of pretty much every single type of bagel. The cashier suggested a pretty good substitute for the bagel I initially wanted though. One of the people thought they got an eggshell in their sandwich, another said that it was the bagel and coffee was the best combo they ever had. Overall I liked it well enough.

They forgot to put parchment paper on our bagelrito so it was basically ruined and it was too hard. So we just threw the whole thing away. Will never come to this location again.

I usually only come here to get the Monday dozen. Its a good deal, but they dont always have the kind of bagels I want. Servers are usually reasonably friendly, so I havent experienced what some other folks have said. Then again, my order is pretty simple. But the bagels are fresh and taste good.

Worst service ever.

They gave me a burnt bagel with avocado on only one side of my bagel. Since there is no dine in I didnt see it until i got my hotel.

Bagel shop, breakfast is generally the thing. Lots of egg plus stuff options. The bagels and the smears are top notch. Worth the wait.

Staff was incredibly rude and didnt care what so ever. One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. Cashier had headphones in and was super rude. She completely forgot the coffee I paid for and I had to go back to ask for it. She then poured half of it and left it behind the counter and just walked off without giving it to me??? Apparently she was in a rush to leave because her shift was over so she really didnt care one bit. My friends food took forever to come out and every member of the staff just didnt really seem to care at all.

Dirty restaurant, staff had a bad attitude and just really didnt care. After waiting for 10 minutes for my are to be taken, I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee and it took another 10 minutes to get the bagel toasted and out to me. The Bagel wall for the most part was emptied with only a very few flavors of bagels to choose from. The coffee urns were empty and I had to ask the cashier for more coffee. She did not even know they were out. After waiting another 7 or 8 more minutes for coffee, I asked if it was ready. She nodded yes and pointed at the brewer behind the counter. I then noticed she was busy eating chips behind the counter and didnt have time to bring the coffee back out to the front.

Only been here one time so far, but I had a really good experience. Will update as I visit more often.

Food was delicious, nice piece of lox on a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Service was friendly and efficient. Gas stations have nicer bathrooms.

I ordered over the app and when I arrived they hadnt even began making my order. I was waiting in my car for several minutes before they eventually came out and gave it to me, but they hadnt toasted the bagels, cut the bagels, or put the bagels into the individual bags that they are supposed to, they had just thrown my bagels into a brown paper sack and gave me that. 2 plain, untoasted bagels.

Normally perfection BUT apparently new bagel baker on weekends that does not like salt. ???Refuses to put salt on a PRETZEL BAGEL.team members are forced to shrug it off.PRETZEL without SALT???Im sorry, when did I want someone ordering for me. Does this person not know how easy it is to remove the salt from as BAGEL? Yeah, scrape off the stuff you dont want. Put MORE on this popular bagel that I usually cant even find in stock if I get there after 9am. We can scrape off what we dont want and eat the salt we want. Yes, we want IT!!!Seriously!!

This location of Einsteins is one of the worst Ive been to. They always run out of bagels early. They also have the most inconvenient setup for ordering bagels & checking out as you cannot see which bagels they have and which they dont when you are trying to place your order. The bagels taste great like all Einsteins but this one makes it almost not worth the money.

I really like their egg sandwiches. The decoration is really bland. If they decorated it a bit and put some nice spaces in like a couple of sofas, etc. I think a lot more people would come in.

Great food and nice staff

I get here about a half hour before closing to grab a quick couple bagels, and I get looked at like Ive got two heads and Ive kicked their door in. They only had 3 types of bagels out, and the place was almost entirely cleaned/closed already. If you want to be closed early, change the hours. Otherwise, this is unacceptable.

I agree with the last review. This location has an awful setup. You REALLY have to be an avid Einstein customer and know exactly what you want, how you want it, and the date this location gets their delivery in. I kid you not, this location is not for those who need something quick to eat. The lines are long, variety depends on what theyre not out of that week, and the employees dont care.

I stopped in to order a coffee. The coffee menu was on the opposite side of the cashier and there was no assistance at the cash register to let me know what coffee products are offered. I walked over to the the side with the coffee menu and attempted to place my order (the lady at the cash register told me I could initially). Although there was a cash register on that side, the young lady told me she could not take my order. I went back to the other side, but now a long line had formed. I had to leave without placing my order because I was in a hurry.PS. I only stopped in because a colleague of mine said their coffee was better than Starbucks. Because of the time I wasted, I missed my morning coffee altogether. It might taste better, but their service left a bitter taste in my mouth!

The bagels were absolutely delicious! The service was adequate. The last comnenter mentioned that the staff seemed undertrained and that nails it perfectly. The restaurant was disturbingly filthy, however. The tables, floors, vents, windows, in fact almost every surface was unacceptable. This level of stank was days or weeks old. Id definitely go back, but Id get my food to go.
