Good store to shop at and with good traffic flow. Friendly staff. Shelves are well stocked along with a good selection of prepared meals. The manufacturers/supplyers are better than the average stores. Great deals on household items. Just a great place to shop!

Easy in & out from I-55.Shopping, gas, tire center, food, pharmacy.

I always go to Oak Brook location and it’s a Zoo every time. I just happened to be in the area and OMG. I’m coming to shop here from now on. It’s nice huge parking lot, larger than average location, stocked to the brim! I like that the gas station position is closer to I-55 so you can visit without the parking lot traffic. Im so thankful to the person who works at that gas station he has a Irish accent thank you so much for helping me fill up the gas tank. Me and my daughter couldn’t resist the hot dog from the food court. :) Nice,clean, spacious and good prices!

First time in Costco and I was impressed. Definitely need to compare prices because everything is not cheaper than normal sale prices. There are a lot of unique items that I havent seen before. Looking forward to coming back.

First time at Costco.... Spent over an hour walking, browsing and buying items I felt were a great deal.Super clean, didnt really find anyone to help me find a specific item. But thats what online orders are for, I guess. But one thing I did enjoy were the samples... The nuggets were so good and the Naan with artichoke dip was amazing! I may return since I now have a membership. $60 for basic and $120, where you can earn a % back like cash to use in your purchases.

Receipt checkers count to make sure your cart items match the receipt (which is fine). While counting, the woman made sure to touch each of the items in my cart (no gloves), moving stuff around. In the process, she knocked over my churros into the bare shopping cart and awkwardly put them back in the bags. Not cool.

I understand what I’m asking is a COMPANY-WIDE change, but Costco as a whole needs to add signage for each aisle as to where items are like Sam’s club (their direct competitor). I understand this is a marketing strategy, but please change this.And 2nd - add ALL forms of Credit Cards NOT just VISA. And I understand the business savings, but once again Sam’s club offers this!!!

This store has definitely had its challenges in the beginning with employees. After working with Lara, getting to know her has been a great pleasure! This young lady has repaired all issues in the store. I enjoyed her company very much yesterday shopping for 2 hours spending $400 in your location! Brand New Costco. First day today, was very impressed at how nice and clean it was despite the huge crowd (that I wasnt so happy about). Im happy that this place is now closer to home and they have all the good stuff you expect to find at a Costco. They even have one of these message machines 😂. Hopefully today was a good indicator that they plan on running this place in a top notch manner. Expect a lot of training of new employee for probably some time. Looking forward to seeing how it maintains in the coming months and years.

Its costco. Its lovely, albeit crowded.Could use an additional kiosk, for ordering food. With the amount of volume, needs more space or a layout reorganization so that customers can exit without running into those going into the food court.

Took the day off to receive my patio set I purchased through Costco. Given a delivery window email-delivery 8:45-10:45am. No on showed up, and I cannot reach anyone for help. No phone number provided to reach out. $1900 later, I have no patio set and lost a day off from work.

Finally! After years of waiting, Costco has opened in Plainfield. This Costco is conveniently located at I-55 and Route 30 with ample parking and easy access from both South and North entrances.Come for the $5 chicken, leave with a $200 bill... lol.I recommend the chicken salad and a blindfold to stop yourself from splurge shopping.

I helped my mom shop today and she has a handicapped sign for her car. We started walking to the store and an employee offered her an electric cart to take. He showed her how to use it and she was off shopping! She enjoyed shopping without getting exhausted and thought it was the best way to shop in the future! Thank you for all the extra courtesies employees showed my mom.

I just signed up to be a member of Costco.I got my membership card and walked around.I was in the new Costco in Plainfield, Il. Because its so new it was very clean. Just like with any other stores you shop at know your pricing. Pretty sure there are good prices.

I am so happy to finally have a Costco close by me again! Seriously, it is like being a kid in a candy store! I love that they are becoming more conscious and have added more foods and products that are organic, nontoxic and all around cleaner. This place literally has everything! Need gas? a garage door? windows? clothes? food? appliances? Yep. They have it all. The membership is worth its weight in gold.

The store is very nice and big. Im Not sure why they dont have any cart wipes or hand sanitizer for customers to use during this pandemic. We even asked at the front door when we didnt see any and the lady told us sorry there werent any.

The first time I entered this Costco my heart was racing. My husband and I felt as if we entered an amusement park! I was super excited to see all the gourmet and organic products available! Everything here is organized, highly stocked, and fresh. I also love walking around and looking at everything. Great place, lot of friendly staff around. I highly recommend getting a membership! Costco was great but I noticed there was people without mask when I went inside they told me to put the mask on and I follow the rules, and I dont like to wear the mask, My suggestion that announced once in awhile in the intercom there is mandatory the 😷 its a simple suggestion

Came in and used my mobile app at checkout and immediately the associate named Loli flagged me down and told me I couldnt check out because I wasnt using a physical card this Costco only accepts a physical card. She prevents me from checking out at all and calls the manager over. This is not the first time this happened with this particular associate. The manager comes over and we go through a whole process AGAIN just for them to finally tell me that its fine and I can checkout. Why am I paying for a member ship to have associates flag me for using an acceptable way to check out? This is the third time its happened and the whole process is rude and quite frankly makes me question whether or not this Costco trains its employees as its the only store this happens repeatedly.

Costco follow all the protocols of distancing, higiene etc. For me is safe to go and buy all that I needed from groceries to electronics.

I just bought my membership and already want to cancel. Lady was so rude in telling me how dumb I basically am for not buying their executive membership for the cash back. The way this was done was a disgusting sales tactic.I’ve been in sales for years. I just wanted to leave with my groceries but this lady rudely stops me to shame me for just buying the gold membership. All I can say is it didn’t leave me wanting to upgrade at all…. Learn a new technique.

NO SMALL sizes for guys clothes choices. They have only MED, L, XL, XXL. Why? WHY? NOT Everyone is big. there are many skinny guys like me. Why you do not carry small options?Not to mention personal at the door are very rude. Probably workers from the farm that have no hospitality experience, only corn.The most annoying is that they want to see card members ID.Who would buy there with no membership? common sense, at register, at check out if you have no ID you wont be able to check out items.Cosco corporation should install electronic check-points to verify costumers membership instead of paying an annoying employee at the door.

Not as busy as it was before the pandemic arrived.A few people not wesring masks. A few dont seem to know that the mask should cover the nose and mouth to have any effective.And, I am not the mask police.It is up to the store supervisors and other employees to remind their co-workers.

In my area, this Costco is pretty nice, compared to the Naperville location, this one seems less crowded, the staff is friendly, ( but they need more) and I like the layout better. Plus easy access in and out of the parking area with traffic signals. The fuel prices are better here as well, probably local tax rate. This will be my go to Costco

The manager has been very helpful dealing with a gift card we thought we never received. Turns out we accidentally threw it away thinking it was junk mail but he reordered us another anyways even though it was our fault.

Costco Plainfield Store #1388Christina& Collin in Customer service need a reteach session on what customer service means. I was having issues with the app & needed a temp card.I ended up waiting nearly 30 mins, still no temp card. Christina said shed be right with me, walked away, and didnt return. Collin took another customer before me, even though I had been waiting longer. At this point, I go do my shopping & plan to get the card before I check out.I return to customer service & its another long wait with no rope or direction. So people wait in any area. No employee acknowledges me. At this point, Im over it & going to Sams club. I go to the merchandise return end and ask to cancel my acct. Collin is standing there. I tell him why Im disappointed & canceling. No response. He pulls up my acct & says canceling will mess up the water service. Not an apology, not what can we do... just youll mess up water delivery service. I see Christina walk by and say shes the one who said shed be right back. She hears me and gives me the hand. At this point, I ask Collin for a customer service email. He says he doesnt have it. I say look around & find some corporate contact. Turns out shes a manager & has to approve the cancelation. She comes over & says not one word to me nor makes eye contact. Collin hands me my refund & I ask for her name since her badge was flipped. He gives it to me. I ask his name, no reply. I look closer & see it on his badge. I say wow, not one apology for my time, not one word on me canceling after years of membership. He gets the 1 800 #for me. As Im walking away, he snarkily yells have a great day or something to that effect. Total opposite of customer service on both their parts. Both were quite condescending in tone and/or action.I never dealt with such rudeness at the Bolingbrook store.

I wanted to give just one star... I have been to all the Costco’s in the regional area and this is the worst in comparison. It’s sad because I was really excited to have one 5 minutes from my house. The management is absolutely horrible. I have been twice and I am not impressed. The first time, my husband and I were waiting in an extremely long line because all the registers had long lines. They opened up a register and we headed to that line. We get to the belt where the manager that announced the register opening told us we were not next in line. He went to the register to the left and told that customer to get in front of us. My question is what about the register on the right. When you open a line, it is first there. That customer did not want to jump on that register because they were about to load their items on the line they were currently in. My husband questioned his logic and of course he got an attitude and started raising his voice in the middle of the store about us cutting the line and walked away. First thing, I am not new to Costco or grocery shopping. If there was a customer that was ahead of us in line and went to the newly opened register, I would politely oblige. The second time we went, the stocking employees on the floor, looked absolutely lost. When asked for a product, it took asking 2 workers on the floor to get the right answer. I will drive the 30 minutes to Orland Park. Everyone is friendly there. I gave the extra star for cleanliness, but that could only be because it is new... Time will tell if it stays clean.

Poor Customer Service, especially compared to Sams Club. Wish I never switched. Employees are generally rude and dismissive.

Costco is always good. Glad they opened this one close by. This one is a little smaller than the other Costco Im used to. They dont sell snowcrab legs. Also wish they would sell cheaper beef cuts with some bone in for stew and soup. Have to go to other grocery stores for it. Otherwise its your typical Costco; cant really go wrong.

This is the best Costco to go to in the area. It I big and not crowded unlike the Naperville store. It is definitely worth going here instead of Naperville.

Clean, well kept store . Signing up for a membership was a breeze, with knowledgeable employees. While entering the store I was acknowledged and greeted with a friendly smile.

They accommodate the seniors and those with preexisting conditions during this pandemic by opening an hour earlier. Great store, well organized. Pharmacist very helpful and answered my questions, got my flu shot quickly. Checkout also very pleasant. Associates very helpful, efficient and polite.

Normally I love Costco can’t say enough good things about the- today is a very different story. An Item I purchased 2 weeks ago went on sale. I’m moving soon and I bought the item in Alabama and left my receipt there. I see that it’s advertised on sale in the book and drive to Plainfield to retrieve my $40 that it is now off! But because it’s a new store you need your receipt. Seriously I’ve done this a few times already no other Costco requires a receipt to get your refund back! Absolutely ridiculously have different policy’s in stores. Waste of my time and a huge dissapoint to this store!

Good place to shop for wholesale as ling as you know whst to buy.

Very easy to return items, and I was also able to find exactly what else I needed. Knowing its a warehouse store and that not everything is restocked or the same from town to town is important. I have to try another location for another item Im looking for, Joliet had already sold out. Ill try the Costco app, never used it before so dont have a review on it.. But staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and if you shop carefully, you can save money!

I love the new Costco. However they need to clean the carts better and have a better system to get people checked out faster. Its only been open 2 months so Im sure it will get better.

I come here quite often and had a pleasant and peaceful experience each time. However today, was not the case. I went to return something today and my husband and daughter went to start looking for an iPad. While on the computers the management team started surrounding them. First it was two then it was 6. I walked up and my husband started to explain toMe what they had experienced as we started walking. I noticed they started walking toward our direction. So we got the middle of the store and stoped and so did they. Then we started going further in the back of the store and they were right behind us. I approached the men and found out they were all managers. Store manager, assistant gm, and two more. I approached them and showed my membership card and explained how uncomfortable they made my husband feel and daughter, as well me when I approached. They said this was normal behavior but it wasn’t. They need better management.

So I just purchased a tv from this store. At first, I received great service and good deal. However, when their employees loaded the tv in my car they broke the screen. I took the tv back and then I was told that they were out of that tv, and I would have to drive to a different store to get the same one, BUT I would also have to pay an additional $200.00 because I bought the floor model. Given the fact that this was their mistake, not to mention now I have to drive out my way I thought the $200.00 should’ve been waived. Instead of fixing their mistake, I was basically told that it was my problem. I ended up getting my money back and buying tv from somewhere else. Bottom line buying from COSTCO is a mistake I won’t make again!

Opening Nov 4 th 2020

This is a newer Costco that opened in November 2020. It seems larger than the older Costcos that I have visited. The store is well organized, all displays are neat. The parking lot is huge with parking slots that are oversized. This store also has a gas station. As we drove up to the store there were about 2,000 Canadian Geese lounging in the sun ☀ on a flat piece of land. Quite a sight. 🇺🇲

Love the drink selection at Costco...iced tea, strawberry lemonade, Izze, and freezer pops w alcohol!!!

Places fully stocked, very clean and even when its busy check out is pretty quick. Cannot beat the $4.99 rotisserie chickens, their four pack of individual one pound packages of bacon for $14.99 (which is my favorite bacon anywhere) and of course the red bull is a hell of a lot cheaper for the case than buying it anywhere else. But seriously I would pay the membership just for the rotisserie chicken lol

I personally had a bad experience. I came in the store wanting to buy the new iMac 24 inch. I think it’s really rude that you guys didn’t have it in stock.

Entire staff was extremely friendly. They helped me load my cart and load my car without me asking. This is now my favorite Costco
