I love this Target. I have had to return or exchange many clothes recently (pregnant and never can seem to get my size right) and their customer service is always SO GRACIOUS about it! Their cashiers and self service attendants are always kind too.I actually worked here over a summer many many years ago and I enjoyed my time here very much! Target is a great place to shop and work.

First time visiting this Target as I am from the Peoria, Illinois area and it was a very nice store much better than back home. I loved the layout of the store, everything is so nicely organized & I was able to get in there and find what I needed right away.

Clean store, decent prices, cute and unique goods. I used to be a Target hater, but over the last 10 years theyve really made improvements to the quality of their goods, gotten much better pricing, and the adding of the Circle Rewards/app and numerous other deals its become one of my favorite places to shop! For the last 3 years majority of my Christmas shopping has gone to Target! Theyve really got unbeatable deals! The 5% Red Card savings is always the icing on the cake.

Tom who works here at Plainfield target is amazing! I am probably at target 2-3 times a week either inside shopping or drive up. Tom is so sweet and he’s always smiling! My girls know him by name when they see him they say “mommy Tom is working today”. He goes above and beyond and I have never seen him in a bad mood or unhappy where he works, he honestly is a breath of fresh air when we walk into target and see him working! Great work Tom continue Smiling we notice! 5 stars

Trading card area wasnt open and people without target attire not nametags stood in the way with a cart, the employee was rude saying to wait until she said so. Me and my brother did laps and she still gave us backtalk. Worse target experience. Hopefully she isnt working tomorrow. If she even works there.

Blocked off Trading Card area and didnt allow purchase after circling the store many times. Kept telling us to walk and wasnt even in Target Uniform.

Online ordering with in-store pickup is fast, easy, and limits my exposure to people during the pandemic.

Im here often. I use the drive up a lot! Its amazing when you have a bunch of kids and only need a few things. Tom is the best at drive up. Hes always so nice, pleasant, and has a smile on his face. Aurora in guest services is always nice and quick to help. Its a great store with great employees.

I placed an order online for pick up since I was in the area. Because they don’t hand you your order I waited until I reached home to put things away and they gave me a milk that expired the next day and the carton was bulging. I called to see if they can just refund me and was told I had to come back and call them when I’m outside. I drove 30 minutes to get there with them not answering after the 4th call and having been hung up on twice. No one who came out to do drive ups to wanted to help me. I asked for a manager and several minutes passed before I parked my car and proceeded to go in. At that time I was approached by two women who helped me but by the time I left it had been 50 minutes. Had it been for the woman who assisted me it would be one star.

Target is always clean and well stocked. Target continues to be every moms vacation and moment of peace in this crazy world. Target is where I go when I need mom times

It’s nice, large, big aisles, lots of options with EMPTY SHELVES!!! So many things were out of stock or just empty shelves with nothing on it. Will be looking for a different target.

Very clean, friendly staff at the self checkout & the guy who helped me get a phone charger. I cant remember names but they both very helpful.

Whats there not to like at Target? I go, just to pick up baby food and I leave with laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, diapers, toothpaste, etc. since everything was on sale. I cant remember a time where I went to Target and didnt buy something on sale, or receive a gift card. Its an AMAZING place to shop, enough said.

Before Covid 19, I would have said time saving. Now I say safety.

Never answers phone. Employees transfer to different depts. Then I get hanged up on after more than a 7 minute wait. Will go across town to a different store.

Merchandise is very clean and organized. There are a lot of items in the store on sale. Employees are super friendly. I asked the electronic department guy to give me an Xbox game and he helped right away. He even told me what is selling fast and the games he recommends.

Your customer service representative not only solved my issue, she was so gracious and understanding!!

Carson is an outstanding employee and deserves a raise. I came in one day and I had a great experience at the register. We had a great conversation and related a lot. I cried. It was the best 3 minute of my life

Daniela was a wonderful help to us today and extended above and beyond to makes sure we were taken care of. If it wasnt for her, this would be a 1 star review as the initial customer service person was seemingly inconvenienced by us, was very little help, and far from friendly. Rude employees here; they sell expired groceries. No paper bags, plastic only which is horrible for the environment.

Ive gotten many offers of help when wandering the store trying to remember what I need. They could always use another 2 lanes open, though. Half their checkout lanes have never been used. Despite the friendly stockers around the store, I pretty frequently get rung up at the registers by some slightly awkward or mildly peculiar people. Its like the staffing decisions are entirely different between the floor and the registers. All-in-all, its one of the best Targets.

Pricey, like most Targets, however, customer service let me return rope lights that I had already opened without a receipt due to the fact that they werent the color i expected. Got my money back and was able to get the right product afterwards!

This is my local Target, and its nice and clean. There are never stray carts in the lot either. It is always well organized inside also.

Target is no less than costco at times in terms of deals but customers just need to be watching out to strike the right deal.I’ve had two such purchases (smart robot vaccum cleaner and google home set) that sure beat costco in terms of the deals/prices and return policies also closely match to the extent I know.There are cartwheel discounts and one day discount offers makes the purchase as attractive.Overall whatever I purchased from Target I’m a happy customer.

Great store very nice store. But as with everywhere in society there is the occasional transplant that wanders through spreading their negativity. It is a way better store then wal mart.

Empty shelves and racks make the store always looks like it is on the verge of going out of business. On the plus side what they do have is reasonably priced and its rarely crowded.

Loved this store until last night.... Questioning a pricing error at the checkout showed me the incompetence and unprofessional managers at this location. Bleon the front customer service manager - lots of attitude, and Angie...the worst customer service and treatment of a loyal customer ever. She should work in a prison.... Target needs to fire and rehire.

They don’t even deserve the one star. Went there today with my kids looking around for some items. It started off pleasant but the store was very empty -nobody was there. It was a peaceful shopping trip at first but kind of Awkward because of the emptiness.I see now why.After we got all of our items totaling to around $200 we proceed to check out. My daughter purchased a car seat and stroller set. When It was my turn to purchase I realized I had left my wallet and ran to go get it. When I came back my daughter was still in line but cashier was gone. I guess she decided to leave and close the register down without notice. So when we realized she wasn’t coming back we went to the line over.Lynda was our cashier. I put my personal bag on the belt to remove the items from my cart. This was a very small Ulta bag with all my credit cards and gift cards.( I’m not a purse girl.) The bag totally doesn’t look like it came from target. When I looked up I noticed that she was looking through every card in my bag. I said that’s my personal bag she said oh and started ringing me up. Then she asked if I paid for the car seat. I told her I did we were still in the process of checking out. Then she said your going to need a receipt. I said I have one. We just brought this seconds ago and I’m still in line checking out. Then sec approach’s us.There was a blender posted on sale in store but it didn’t ring up that way. So I told her and she called over another employee. I explained the sale sign was posted in their store along with several other blenders then I asked my daughter to go take a photo of it. The other employee Jerel rudely said they will not honor a photo of a price tag that they had in their store. I asked her if she was a manger she said no. Then I asked for a manger. I got Angie and there are other complaints on her she was so rude and combative I thought I was at Walmart. I explained to her that I was sending my daughter over there she said she didn’t care that wasn’t the right place. Now mind you it was a $10 difference. Lynda whispered loudly to the security check the receipt for the car seat. I already showed her my receipt and then showed the security. At this point I’m humiliated and it’s been 15 mins and nothing has happened. So I bring up the fact that Lynda just violates me and went through my personal bag looking through all my cards. Lynda said yea I went through it you shouldn’t have put it on the belt. Her manager Angie backed her. I said excuse me so if you i put my purse in the belt you can go though it. You all are out of line. Angie constantly kept arguing with me the sec even said can we just give it to her. Angie gave the security the death stare and I called Corp while in store. I was violated and humiliated over their price error. I was basically acusused of stealing a car seat I brought and they had to look at the receipt 3 times. It the worst experience I have ever had at target. I can’t believe they have that woman as a manger. It was like she was ready to get physical with me it was scary. I know my kind isn’t welcome there and my $200 spent didn’t mater. After an hour of humiliation and arguing they gave me the $10 price difference but the experience was so traumatic i have a migraine and I can’t believe this actually happend I’m in shock. Never returning.

I love the friendly workers who ask me if I needed help finding something. This store goes above and beyond for the guests.

Setting teenagers up for debt, is a thing for this place . They also have really great ways to communicate, and discriminate.

This target has a bad layout, no starbucks, the food court is always closed, no alcohol, and never has the products I’m looking for. Should have closed this location instead of Romeoville.

Worse customer service Ive ever experienced. I will never set foot at that store again. The employee and manager who helped me made the problem much worse and I ended up having to pay full price on two items I had a discount on. Rather that try to fix the mistake they created I ended up paying the price for their mistake and not once did they even apologize.

This target sucks to be frank. There is no self checkout and its interesting because it seems that all the other targets in the area do. Also, there is no alcohol at this location. Apparently its because of Plainfields rule but yet jewel, Meijer, and Walmart in Plainfield carry alcohol. Interesting. This target for me will always get a wave when I pass it on route 59 to go to the one in Naperville or shorewood. Bland

Honestly, every time I walk into this place I wonder if it is going out of business. Usually only Two lanes open, bare shelves, small selection, no liquor. Recently, on a dead weeknight I witnessed a customer exiting the lane next to me drop and break a jar of food which spilled everywhere and Nobody did anything. I finally told my cashier, a 16 year old boy, to help her. Took the manager about 3 minutes to respond. The cashier whos lane it was, hadnt offered any assistance and was ringing a new customer while the lady was picking up broken glass. So customer was almost out the door while the manager hadnt days anything to her she was focused on the floor. before I said arent you going to give her a refund or a new can? All in all poor customer service in addition to low selection and stock.
