I have found that Verizon the company is not great, I have also found they cannot be absolutely horrible because, they have some awesome employees. I only come to Verizon when my phone is not working and the employees seem to be very nice. Last time I was in there I wanted two numbers on one phone. Although not done often, they were able to make it happen. As the corporate computer system was getting in the way it did take forever. During my extended visit the employees were great to have conversation with. The employees at this location are good but, Verizon is very unpleasant in every aspect. They have a joke of a computer system, even level two tech support is under trained. The company has gotten so large it seems like a tangled spider web of bureaucracy with no autocracy. This leaves employees and ultimately customers feeling confused/frustrated when it come down to many of the more technical aspects the network. While talking to tech support I was informed that I had about a 50% chance of my iPhone 12 activating on the same day because the system was ether overloaded or the devices are having issues. This confusion seems to be applicable to most network interactions as employees seem scared to hit the wrong buttons and mess things up. For a summary, people are nice to talk to but the company is a pain to work with as a customer.

I do not recommend Verizon to anybody. We tried to close down my mother-in-laws account who passed away and every time I called it would be like a half an hour 45 minutes on the phone and it was like excruciatingly painful to try to get anybody to do anything. The first time we called and they said we wouldnt have to do any thing more-& didnt owe anything. Couple days ago we got another bill. With a $5 late fee. When I ask them to waive the late fee after 10 minutes on hold they said that they couldnt do it because I have to go on their website and send in all kinds of documentation about the executor of her estate and all this nonsense. I said you know what its not worth $5. And I said please make sure you put in our notes that we will not be recommending nor will we be using Verizon ever ever again and this wasnt even our account. weve been with AT&T for 30-plus years so I do not recommend Verizon at all. I will say that the gal on the phone was very nice but she couldnt help with anything & that Call took a little over a half an hour the first call took probably 45 minutes.

I honestly can not figure out the bad press this store is getting!I walked up to the door where Fernando greated me and asked how he could help. I showed him my IPhone XR that had a battle with a car door this am, and sadly lost. MIND YOU it was well after 5 and these people should be doing nothing but cleaning and locking up.Fernando was very professional and quickly had my claim processing. This is our go-to location when we need new phones or any help with our devices. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. I recently went in for a much-needed upgrade. The guy who helped me (Im sorry I forgot his name) greeted me at the door and helped me choose between my top two choices. He then helped me pick out a case and other accessories at the best prices. I also wanted to make sure that everything from my old phone got transferred over to the new one correctly, so he sat there and helped me port it over. I was in and out within the hour. I have gone to other locations before and been there for 2+ hours and had multiple issues with the data transfer. This is the best place to go for any of your Verizon needs.

This is a good spot for a failed used car salesman to get a job. 10+ year customer of Verizon, went in to purchase 3 phones, and was told I would have to pay an upgrade fee to do so on top of the $500 each for the phones. I explained that I was upgrading nothing, just purchasing new hardware. Went to At&t bought phones there and was told by Verizon rep during the port process that the upgrade fee could have been waived in store without issue. Liked the Verizon network, but cant stand shady, slimy, sales folk.

I just got off the phone with an extremely rude girl. I simply stated that I purchased 2 note 9s about 3 weeks ago and was told that I should call the Verizon location I purchased them from and see if they would honor the black Friday price. The girl said no and hung up on me! I cant wait to go in the store and get her name and report her to Verizon. She was horrible and I believe that I do remember her from some of my previous interactions with this location, which I have been going to since they opened. This is my first bad experience and my last. If I could give a negative star rating I would. Worst customer service ever! The only responses to bad reviews is that they apologize for horrible service. Maybe they should fire the people that keep providing bad service.

I went to upgrade my phone. I got the phone I wanted with a screen protector. The sales rep said she could put it on and was finishing it when she crack the screen protector. Then she told me that she couldnt replace it even though she is the one that broke it. Then she told me that she was suppose to put it on even though she was the one that offered to do it in the first place. She told me the only way I was getting a new one was to register it a get a new one mailed to me. Now I have to pay for the shipping and wait to get a new screen protector that the version sales rep broke.

These guys rock! I signed up for Verizon and pre-ordered the new Note 10+ through a shop down in Sacramento...I dont know how they managed to mess it up so bad, however, these guys in the placerville location went above and beyond to help me get it all sorted out. It took a couple hours and three team members working with a tech on the phone as well to finally get it all fixed but they refused to give up as some other stores might have done... They were all friendly and very helpfulwill definitely be using this location exclusively for all my needs!

Rude customer service in placerville. This rude Verizon employee told me my 1 year old phone doesnt have a battery! Then said, well we dont change batteries and tried to walk away from me. All I wanted to ask was the kind of battery I needed to replace it myself. She walked away from me and talked to the 3 other employees. They stared at me with their arms crossed, wouldnt talk to me so I left. I have T-MOBILE now and they suck but nothing like the idiots and problems at Verizon!

I recently came into the Verizon store in Placerville with my wife to get her a new phone and a second line the sales person Ryan decided that she was not going to talk to me the account holder but rather ignore me talk directly to my wife ignore any of the options I was suggesting changed my plan without my authorization and then two days after we left the store change my plan again after multiple phone calls to the corporate office and to the Placerville office I had come to know resolution on the problem that Ryan had caused the managers at the Placerville store were completely uncooperative I finally was able to reach a customer retention specialist at the corporate office who was able to straighten out the problem that Ryan caused this only took 5 minutes to fix rather than the days the store needed to resolve this issue stay away from the store stay away from sales girl Ryan

This is the 2nd time Ive had to go into Verizon because my speaker phone hasnt worked. The first time was I took my S7 in and it was replaced with a refurbished S7. Now Ive been having trouble with the exact same thing on my refurbished S7, but because I accidentally dropped it way after my speaker phone stopped working and cracked the back of my phone, Verizon is telling me they cant replace my phone because of the cracks on the back. The lady that was helping me at Verizon said that most of the time they can still replace it because if the screen isnt damaged, and it wasnt. But after she talked with her manager he told her they cant replace the phone because of the cracks on the back and that could be the reason why my phone speaker isnt working. So basicly theyre using that as an excuse to not replace my phone. My phone speaker had quit working way before that, Also my account was current and I pay monthly for insurance on my phone, so thank you Verizon you really stepped up to the plate and had my back. I have two phones thru you and Im paying an insane payment every month and I never complain about it, I just pay it and this is how you treat people, thats even more INSANE!!!

7/9/13NOT SURE WHICH STORE IS WORSE: PLACERVILLE, OR PLEASANT HILLOn the last day of our trip to Tahoe over Fourth of July for a friends destination wedding, my phone was full of amazing pictures. The SD card had recently filled up and I removed all the pictures and deleted them, but my camera was still set to save to internal phone memory and I couldnt find the setting to change this. No big deal, right? WRONG. My phone experienced Sudden Death Screen, and the motherboard is gone. My husband was able to figure all of this out on google, no thanks to the employees of this Verizon.I panicked when I couldnt turn on my phone so we made an appointment while driving home from Tahoe to stop at Verizon in Placerville. Unfortunately, I made the appointment but didnt hit save :) (Im not very mobile savvy) so when we arrived we had a several person wait in front of us. We waited very patiently. The reps at Verizon that wed spoken with on the phone during the drive said perhaps the battery had failed, or the battery indicator, telling the phone that it had charge. So when we told the store employee this, she literally handed me a new battery and plug. I swapped out the old one but nothing happened. When that didnt work, she gave me back the phone and was done. Um, wtf. My phone doesnt work and we just waited a long time. Please try something else. She was no help and didnt try to figure out if the pictures could be saved. So, we left. We called Verizon and ordered a new phone. Even though its under warranty, she wasnt able to replace it with another Galaxy S3 carried by the store.Unfortunately, from what weve found online, anything on the internal memory is gone. Contact info. is replaceable. All the amazing pictures from the week are not. BUT, to be positive, at least Ill never not take the time to figure out my save-settings again. Soon Ill have a new phone, and Ill never have to return to this Verizon location if something goes wrong with it.
