Cute and vibey, I really liked the art. Our honey bunches of oats latte was super yum. Nice barista
The Coffee I had was amazing and the Barista has a gift with Joe for sure. Thank you again for an amazing Cup.
Stopped here with my friend prior to heading home. I got the honey bee oat milk latte 🤤 it was good. Not too sweet which made me happy. My friend said the Chai there is the best in the city. I also ordered a blueberry muffin. That was meh, a little dry but I heard the sandwiches are amazing. I didnt try it because it had bacon on it but my friend totally swears by them. The Brista was kind and had good customer service.Totally recommend this spot.
Fast service, great coffee and a very hard working staff that literally consists of one person. Idk how her drinks were so consistent. Maybe the fact that she works 60 hours a week and shakes lattes in her nightmares.
Friendly and fast service. Great tasting coffee — I got a 16 oz Americano, which amazingly has 2 full shots. The interior walls display cool artwork and the back of the shop has a bookcase packed with cooking books. I could spend all day checking out the decor and listening to the music they have playing at a perfect volume in the shop.
The best Lattes I’ve ever had. They’re specialty flavor combos are incredible. All made with housemade syrup. Salted Carmel, spiced maple, caramelized ginger... all delicious.
My husband and I just moved to Lawrenceville, so we decided to try this place. We both got lattes with 2 double shots of espresso. Lydia, our barista, was great! She made us excellent espressos--the beans were not over- or under-extracted like so many other coffee shops--she knew what she was doing! We were also excited that they use De Fer coffee, which used to be our go-to café when we lived in the Strip District. Were so glad we stopped by and well definitely be back!
Nice little coffee shop
Coffee shop? They only have 2 sugar free flavors - vanilla and caramel - yawn. I had to pay EXTRA for Almond Milk - what 3 tablespoons of Almond Milk cost $.75 - really? The worst of it, is that they kicked us out!!! My friend didnt even get to drink her tea yet! There were 4 people sitting on their computers - one that was sleeping and we had to leave because of reaching capacity!! How about the 4 that was there before us? The worker said that she bought 2 coffees and shes a regular! Going to Fancypants Popcorn for coffee next time!
I needed some coffee on the way to an appointment and this cute place caught my eye. Walking in I was greeted with a smile and pleasantries. Looking up at the simple, giant chalk board menu I already knew I wanted to come back since they had a variety of beverages. The barista was pleasant and patient as I took time to decide on my order. My order was taken and was promptly delivered as I chose a cozy spot to sit. I sipped on my americano and finally admired the modern and home like feel the coffee shop provided. The WIFI had trouble working but maybe it was a blessing to force me to actually take in the experience. Thank you Inkwell, keep up the good work.
Inkwell has as you could ask for in a coffee shop:Decent coffeeNice baristasLarge front windowsPainted black plywood floorsSilver old fashioned ceilingSchmancy hanging lights over the barAn old chandelier over the tableWhite painted brickUnpainted brickBlack metal + new woodOld, distressed woodWhite painted woodChalkboard menuSucculentsLeafy plantsVery bright, colorful featured local artNot to mention, lots of great people stopping by.My only critiques are that the coffee is good but not amazing, and it seems like Inkwell is trying to do a bit too much with the decor. But give them some time to refine and itll be amazing
Very kind staff and great lattes!! Overall super friendly atmosphere - my favorite coffee shop in Lawrenceville
Coffee was a bit too bitter for my liking; steamed milk was thin rather than creamy. Would try again in the event that the barista was having an off day.
Love it!! The lavender syrup is so good. The cold brew is incredibly smooth.
Very good chai latte and good cappuccino. The barista was very nice and the interior is cozy.
Dont like the service there. The man whos taking my order just pointing my drink to me meaning that it was my order. And he barely talk and did not feel friendly.
Great place to hangout and relax. Social distancing is being enforced responsibly and staff are cleaning tables. Great coffee and bites to eat!
Wonderful café. Thank you for keeping us all safe with your sanitizing protocols in place.Wonderful coffee. We sat outside on your bench.
If you think this is the best coffee in Pittsburgh youve never actually experienced good coffee.
Great place!
Saw this place driving by and just had to stop. Friendly staff and good coffee. Clean and clearly following safety protocols
Good coffee
Beautiful space! Great coffee, calming music. I love the feel of the art on the walls and exposed brick, perfect place to get work done and be creative.
Great service and product!
Nice cozy coffee shop! Nice industry design, also props to shop/building owner for installing a brand new shiny tin ceiling!
Good barista. Not good hot coffee
Great spot! Very good matcha lattes and the baristas are friendlyAmend: Had a weird experience with a guy barista where he basically insinuated he didnt feel like putting on a pot of the single origin coffee?? Not really a big deal--just had been really excited to take an out of town guest and I think my guest was very underwhelmed by the experience and the coffee.
One of the best cups of coffee Ive had since leaving the west coast.
Cozy spot in Lawrenceville. Staff is friendly. Coffee is good.
Good espresso, sweet shop. Asher rules!!!!
Great new addition to Lawrenceville
Coffee that hints of wood, and a beautiful silver ceiling.
Great coffee & vibe
