Consistently one of the best espresso places in Pittsburgh. Perfect cappuccino almost every time. The owner understands espresso tradition deeply, and it shows. I believe they roast their own beans as well. Also, the interior is absolutely lovable, the staff is usually great, and the owner is a stand-up guy.

Yes it’s a coffee shop. No wifi . Good selection of baked goods. I got an iced tea. It was good! You don’t get to pick the iced tea flavor, it’s a premade item, but also I understand that a place called ESPRESSO ☕️ -a-Mano! isn’t too focused on their tea preparation. They have a nice hot tea menu though.

But their chai lattes are really good as well 😭Overall, just an amazing place with a marvelous staff, amazing food/snacks, and comfy atmosphere.I love it. ❤️ thank you!

Very hip spot. Coffee selection caters to all except there are no super fancy frapps and such.Lots of students and just people on laptops on general. They dont have individual 4 top tables so my group of 4 couldnt sit together on a nice weekend. We could have pushed two tables together but they were quite rare as the turnaround on some tables were quite slow.Overall, great spot for espresso. 100% enjoyed my drink.

Getting a beautifully crafted latte at Cafe a Mani is a great way to start your day. The assortment of pastries are delicious and it is hard to choose which one will become your new favorite. Enjoy people watching while sitting in cafe surrounded by industrial brick walls and ever changing local art gallery. If you take your coffee to go, be sure to check out the local shops along Butler Street.

Although Espresso A Mano is generally quite busy because it is so popular, you never feel rushed. The staff is excellent, and they treat each customer with good humor and a smile. The drinks are delicious and are clearly made with care. Many remote workers and entrepreneurs work at Espresso A Mano, so I have found the atmosphere to swing between very loud (when lots of groups are having meetings) and dead silent (when everyone is working on individual projects).

Love it here. The espresso drinks are all good, the employees are friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have, and each latte is accompanied by latte art, even to-go orders, what a nice touch! I absolutely love Espresso A Mano, it is the perfect place for working or reading - get here early on a nice day because the tables will fill up. The garage-door style window opens when the weather is nice which is a bonus to the already great vibe and the staff that are always nice. My only complaint about this coffee shop is that the soy lattes and soy cappuccinos often taste burnt/ they just dont taste great - but the coffee is fantastic and just because they dont serve the greatest soy drinks doesnt mean I wont be back.

Went here for the first time today. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and most importantly, the coffee was REALLY good. I had a small decaf latte with two pumps of vanilla syrup and it was one of the best lattes Ive ever had. The only thing I would wish for is more seating, but honestly, for a coffee shop, the seating is plentiful -- its just that theyre popular, so an empty seat was hard to come by.

Bonus points for the selection of coffee beans (Verve and Forty-Ninth Parallel) but minus points for the over-crowded atmosphere. Its a bit of a pretentious scene. Navigating from the drink counter to a table is tough, as is getting to the bathroom from a table. The chocolate chip cookie was greasy, but admittedly some folks prefer that.No complaints about the coffee drinks themselves. If you just need a solid espresso drink to go and dont mind waiting in line, this place is fine.
