I was at the store in North Fayette (NF) looking for a car battery for my wifes SUV as I was leaving work. The gentleman who was helping me at the NF location was Mike and he was great and very helpful, he didnt have any in stock, which is understandable however he looked up this store and saw that they supposedly had 9 on hand. He called them before I made the trek to this location to make sure that I didnt waste my time thru rush hour traffic to discover that this location didnt have any either, I overheard the entire conversation where the guy at this location on PA88 couldnt be bothered to even look to make sure because he didnt want to hunt thru a pallet. Well BPB just lost a pretty good sale. I ended up spending $200+ at Autozone for a battery because when I called them the guy there actually took the time and physically looked to make sure they had the battery in stock.

The employees are helpful, and its nice to have these stores around. They still leave a lot to be desired. For instance they dont have any lithium batteries at all. Even if the website has them, the stores dont. Also parking at the site is difficult. The store is often full when I go and the parking lot only has about 10 parking spaces. With limited room to park, enter, and exit the lot, you have to be more careful and patient parking.

I had them install their recommended Simple Snap screen protector on my iPhone less than a year ago. I registered the personal number that came with the Simple Snap paperwork right after I got the back. The screen developed some cracks across the face about 8 months after the protector was installed so I took it back to them and showed them the receipt and asked about how the warranty is handled and they told me to get on the Simple Snap web site and they will make you mail the phone to Simple Snap. Seemed like Batteries Plus wanted me out the door.So next I got on the Simple Snap web site and they tell me to go to this Batteries Plus location for warranty repair??I don’t understand.Why would Batteries Plus recommend and install products with warranty when the customer cannot apply the warranty as the product site guides you. Now everyone says why did I even go there and I should have got it off Amazon and installed it myself. Well, I’m out $50, have a broken screen and learned the hard way.

Great service, very helpful. The batteries I needed were in stock. I placed the order online, at night, and the order was ready for pickup right after 8:00 am, when they opened. They even helped me remove the connectors from the old batteries that I dropped off for recycling - which I forgot to do. Definitely recommended.

I needed a battery to run a fishfinder in my kayak. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Got a battery that will do the job and a charger for it.

The comraderie there is easy to see. They fist bump eachother when done at the end of their shift for a job well done! Mike always waits on me and he is so good at what he does. (It just ends up that way). He always takes the time necessary to get me what I want and explains it all without getting impatient. A very good quality. Asked me if it was alright if he could just get a signature from someone so they could be on their way. Of course it is! (multitasking!) I buy all my batteries there and only at that store. 5 stars!

Purchased a small remote battery 3v Cr2025.It rang up over $12 plus tax. We commented about it being so much. Was told that is for battery and installation. We asked how much he charged to install the battery, which consisted of placing the little battery and closing the flap-- the cost was $6.00 !! He was told to take it out and we would install it ourselves. The new price $5.99 plus tax. TELL THE CUSTOMER FIRST YOU CHARGE TO REPLACE IT....NOW WE DONT TRUST A COMPANY THAT DOES SUCH A THING. SNEAKY.

Very helpful for programing a car fob.

Was looking for a specific button battery that I couldnt find at Walgreens. When I asked the guy if they had this battery, he knew immediately what the equivalent number of it was. Was also able to recycle a dead battery pack for a cordless drill (though it cost me $2 to do so).

Good price, decent service, but I thought it was awfully inconsiderate that only one employee was wearing a mask out of the three working. Even the gentleman who installed my battery left it off during the entire installation. Not trying to be the mask police, but I thought they would have a little more consideration. Nice staff; very courteous. Had to replace my Ford FOB. Seemed like a patient and understanding lot and also offered repair options for the original FOB.Inside they have a lot of batteries and lights. They also carry some multi tools ( like pocket knives), chargers, those car jumps that have a battery, back up batteries for power outages ( so the specialized power strips) and they seem to be able to work on cellphones. Not 100% sure on all services towards cellphone repair.This place looks like a good alternative if youre looking for buying mass amounts of batteries. I think a 40 pack of AA is like 10 bucks.I see a lot of Duracell brand.

This store name should change to Cell Phone & Batteries Plus Bulbs. I spent hours trying to replace my iPhone screen without any success. So I took the phone to this store, the technician (Casey) was able to detect issues right away and got my phone fixed within 15 minutes. In addition, their charge is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who has issues with their phone.

This one guy there definitely broke my phone and than lied to my face, I decided to forgive him mostly (except for this review? Been dealing with Castle Shannon store since it opened. They always have what I need, no matter how weird it might be. Their battery in my 2008 Audi RS4 is now 9 years old and showing no signs signs of quitting after starting a high-compression V8 daily in all weather.

My online order for a Verizon FIOS battery was incorrect, but Mike made the proper correction, and tested the new battery. Later I mentioned that the correct battery was listed as 7Ah while Verizon suggested 7.2. I was told that Verizon is now using 8Ah batteries and, again, Mike made the change for me, and tested the new battery. He was professional in every respect, never giving any sign of impatience with the changes I requested. My experience was fantastic.

Had to get the screen on my daughters iPhone repaired. The screen was really jacked, and I suspected a repair was not possible; or at the very least, I would have to leave it for days; they fixed it in an hour!!I have been to this location maybe five or six times; staff is always friendly and helpful.

I ordered a new battery for my car right after I got a jump from AAA to get it started. My battery was ready and waiting when I got to the store and even though it may have been 15 degrees, they installed the new battery in the cold without even blinking and sent me on my way. Really happy to have this store and their wonderful employees so close by.

My overall purchase experience was excellent with regard to availability of the battery I needed, information support provided by personnel at my local store, and price of the battery.

I sent my husband for basic 3 v lithium batteries. He told the store clerk they were cylinder shaped - shaped like a C battery but small - but the clerk told him there are 50 kinds of 3 v batteries and that my husband needed to bring the old battery in to know which one he needs.Ive done a google search and can only find 1 cylinder shaped 3 v battery, so either the clerk at a battery store doesnt know what hes talking about OR he was intentionally being difficult and condescending.Last year I had stopped at the same store and brought the unusual bulb, from a ceiling fan, with me. The clerk said they didnt carry the bulb and couldnt order it. Then, while looking around while there, I found the exact bulb on their shelf.Im not sure whats up with the lack of knowledge of the products they carry at this store. Because of this I give them 1 star.

I have now had two bad experiences in a row. Before your staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the last two visits I had the same person. He is extremely inpatient and makes rude facial expressions when you try to speak. I will have to now look elsewhere to make my purchased.

My mother in law uses this place alot and i can see why.....yesterday i went with her to get a replacement battery for her phone....the gentleman that helped us was very pleasant and went out of his way to explain everything thoroughly....most places dont do this anymore especially for senior citizens....kudos and keep up the great work

I recently found out that Batteries Plus sells key fobs for your car as well as programs them. Previously when I looked into it at a dealership it seemed like a several day hassle to leave your car so I decided against it. I just wanted a backup because my car came used with only one fob that falls open a lot as it’s pretty worn out. I ordered my fob type by phone and was able to come in during the day and have the fob programmed. The whole process was pretty quick. It’s a new service so I suspect it will get even quicker. The guys at the store were all very nice as usual. This is where I go for all my batteries including my iPhone.

They care about their customers.

Great place to get my hearing aids battery

I was on the road visiting my family and realized that I forgot my lap top charger. I showed up at the Batteries and Blubs AFTER they had closed but the owner let me in and then patiently assisted me in determining the specifications of the charger I needed and then we completed the sale even though his systems had been shut down for the day. It was a real life saver for me as I had to do a lot of work during this visit and losing the charge on my laptop would have been disastrous. I cannot thank Batteries and Bulbs enough and highly recommend this knowledgeable and customer friendly establishment to anyone!

I called a few weeks ago and spoke with a man at the store. I told him my Samsung Galaxy S 6 had a problem with either the port or the battery. He scheduled a time for me to come in to get the battery replaced. I come in on a Friday and, when I get there they check out the phone and determine the charging port is bad. They dont have any in stock so I have wasted 50 minutes round trip. I am aggravated that the person I spoke with was not proactive enough to make sure the ports were in stock but I figure I shouldnt have relied on them. I should have asked.I wait a few weeks getting by with just the wireless charger and schedule another appointment on line. I write in the comments on line that I need both the port and the battery as swapping out the port is not one of the services available to set up on line. I call a few minutes later and tell the person who answers when I am coming in and that I need both the port and a battery. I make sure they have the port in stock. This is a Tuesday.I come in today, Thursday 7/20 to drop off the phone. They inform me that a few days ago they decided they will no longer replace the charging port in store because their technicians dont seem to be able to do it without breaking the screens which they then have to replace on their dime. They want to send my phone to Wisconsin and leave me without my cellphone for 5 days. Now mind you they advertise and I scheduled in store service.So if you want a store that is cavalier about your time, whose technicians are too incompetent to repair a phone without breaking it, and dont contact you to tell you that the in store service you scheduled is no longer in store despite you having an appointment this is just the place for you. Because hey, you dont need your cell phone for the next 5 days, right?

Upstanding outfit here. They quoted me a battery and said they had it in stock. When I got there they found out they didn’t have it and significantly discounted the next better battery so I could get it for the same price. That’s good business right there.

Tech fixed phone. Was small issue and they were helpful and eager to solve the problem. Bought a charger while there- they have good products not junk. Batteries big and small - flashlights and some other electronic related necessities.

I used to count on this shop alot! Its become overpriced. The employees are not friendly even to the point I feel the negativity! They dont full listen to customers they just keep talking over customer! We went to buy a battery for motorcycle we just got and as husband was communicating with 3 employees I pulled up battery on Amazon $5 cheeper with 2 year warranty they give 6mo warranty and big bunch of sarcasm. I dont understand how businesses dont expect more out of employees now adays! When I worked retail (cough cough 20+ yrs ago) there was no option to give any less than your best to each employee no matter what! The threat then was a competitor in your stores area... now its on line ease of shopping from home delivery to door with savings warranty super easy return policy.

Stopped here because Ive been having trouble with my key fobs, and thought that reprogramming them might help. Tony helped me out, had my fob opened up, diagnosed my problem (reprogramming was not the answer) and fixed me up in a matter of minutes. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I made an appointment to get a new battery for my cell phone. When I got to the store, I was told that I could pick it back up in about an hour and a half. I didnt realize I had to leave my phone and come back. Ok, so when I came back to pick up my phone, the screen was filthy. I think that someone couldve at least cleaned my screen off before giving it back to me, especially when I paid $64.00.

These guys are good guys they know there job they are on top of it. Treat you like family thanks again guys for your help.
