The BEST Best Buy! Ive shopped other Best Buy stores around the USA, and no other store matches the customer service of the McKnight Road Pittsburgh Best Buy! Recently purchased laptop, and most recently a new cell phone. The customer service is wonderful. Chris S. in cell phone department worked tirelessly to help me with issues with my account, made suggestions to save me money, and followed up with me. Chris S. solved all my problems, and I would give him and this store 10 stars! Geek Squad here is also awesome. They are more than helpful and willing to do what it takes to solve issues. The store employees are helpful, dedicated, and gracious.
I rarely give reviews, so it has to be pretty bad to get one from me. Simply put, the gas dryer we ordered was delivered, but not installed. The tech said someone else would come and install it. He left and marked the job COMPLETED. We called BB after getting that email confirmation, and had to reschedule. A week later, two guys show up and say the gas hose provided by BB is too short. No advice on who to call, just a simple “we can’t” and left. Called BB and was directed to the Geek Squad rep who barely spoke English. She kept telling me that we had an appt for today. I said I know… they came. They left. I had to explain this 3 times. Finally got another appt booked later this week. Only 2 weeks w/o being able to dry our clothes. Terrible installation service, lack of accountability, and awful customer service. Last dollar we will spend there.
I was looking for a new laptop and there are so many choices - I was thankful that the associate who helped me was very knowledgeable and spent all the time I needed to make a decision. Great service.
I bought an appliance from Best Buy, and they contract through a company called Foward Air to have the item delivered. These guys were not only very rude, but they didnt call before they arrived and they damaged my washer when one guy tried to take the dryer off by himself and broke off my washers detergent drawer (see pictures below). That was in November. Fast foward to April, and Best Buys mediator, Sedgwick Claims Management Service, stopped answering my emails and calls seeking a resolution of any kind. Best Buy was great, but they go through degenerate companies and refuse to accept responsibility at any level, so I refuse to use their services again. Be smart and think long and hard if saving a few dollars by purchasing at best buy is worth it if they contract their services through low-life distributors.
Needed a new phone, which I HATE because its always such a hassle. Sarah helped us out and was amazing! Quick and easy. In and out in 30 minutes!!
This one of the worst best buy store Ive been to the staff was absolutely rude and unattentive until they realized I came in to buy a $3,000 TV then things changed will never go back
Ordered a new oven and the delivery contractors Best Buy used scratched my wood floor really bad. I paid for installation and they just shoved it into the spot and didnt even make sure all 4 feet were on the ground. Didnt install the required anti-tip brackets either because we never do that (even though the website says its included and required). So I had a stove not installed, rocking back and forth, a damaged floor, and customer service told me to call back in 2 days to see if someone else could possibly install it.Also called to say they were on their way and didnt show for 2.5 hours and not in the delivery window I was given.
Pretty good prices and pretty much the only place left to buy stuff that aint junk.
The guys that helped me find what I was looking for (A Modem) helped me understand what I needed to use the modem. It turned out that I dont have a cable connection, so I couldnt buy the modem. They did show me an alternative that was more affordable, and would work better. They get 5 stars for their expertise and being helpful. Many thanks to them both. I wish I could remember their names.
They have low inventory, not a problem, but the staff is rather rude, youll be lucky if you can find someone to help you.
Well this is Best Buy. Nothing special to expect here. Big box store. Okay prices. Wait until they have a sale.
Kudos to Shane and Rudy at this location. Shane helped me search for a new laptop and took his time explaining features and even did a price match for a laptop I had seen at another store. Rudy was his supervisor and assisted Shane with getting a printout of the laptop in which I was interested. Shane informed me he was fairly new, however he could really be a trainer to some of the other sales people on how to treat a potential customer.

I wonder how this store has 4.1 rating stars????? I wish there was a ZERO star option!!!!! This is not the first time that I had really bad experience at this location. I got an email from Best Buy saying that my order was ready to be picked up on Thursday 4/8/21. I went to the store on 4/10 and they told me that the order didn’t t arrived yet. I am talking to Sara and explain that this is quite a time consuming and they should have the right info instead of wasting customers time. She changed the status of my order ship to home and charged me shipping cost without telling me...This is disgusting. They screwed up the order and I am paying extra for their product without being notified??? Also the order cant be changed or cancel because “they are working on it” Come on Best Buy, this is how you rip off your customers those days? SHAME.

Only a 4* though because they havent had in stock the things I needed both times Ive been there, though (the first time it was a Gotcha for Pokemon Go... my husband surprised me with one from Target later, to make up for my disappointment). This time it was a particular wattage power cord for my laptop. They also didnt have the next wattage up. Had to go up two. Not sure how much extra that ended up costing me if theyd had the 45w I needed or even the 60 vs having to buy the 65. Maybe not much. But the employees who helped me were all great, and I didnt have to hang around long. They also had good Covid safety measures... Masks, checking people at the door to see what they needed and pointing them in the right direction to save wandering around the store, etc. Very helpful.
Wanted to order something thru web site but there was a problem however cashier took my primtout of items i wanted and went and got them for me. I didnt ask them.too do this and was going to do it myself i just asked where a priduct was located and they got all my stuff for me. Very helpfull

I needed help finding a good camera for my wife and Jesse and his manager did a fantastic job helping me out. They both listened to what i was going to use the camera for and guided me to the perfect camera for my wife. I would highly suggest talking to these to guys again if you need any help.

The sales guy was very helpful, but there was nothing to buy on a Saturday. Literally only two boxed receivers on the empty shelves. Zero speakers, zero toner for my new HP printer. I overheard that they didnt even have a simple 3/8-to-RCA Complimented sales guy to mgr, who seemed bored with the positive feedback. Was told they get a truck on Tuesday. I try to keep my money local to support brick & mortars, but if the cupboards are bare except for one day a week, theres no way to support them. Sadly, Ill not return to Air Fryers R Us.
Went to pick up online order and was told they couldnt scan product but wanted me to pay twice for the same item, I refused, then they did something on the computer and gave me a bogus reciept that didnt reflect what I actually paid. The woman then became frustrated and starting accusing me of yelling which I was not. Completely incompetent dont shop there.

My LG Microwave died on Thanksgiving Day. I’ve had it for less than a year. The manager said that I had to contact LG about the problem. He said that if I did not buy the insurance that his hands were tied. He told me that this was not his choice but his hands were tied. I was never offered any help in contacting LG. I’ve been calling LG for 2 days. I was on hold for 45 minutes and got disconnected. I have called numerous times only to be told that there was no one to help me and I had to call back later. Then the line went dead. I will never buy anything at Best Buy. I will buy from local appliance stores. They care about their customers and will help with problems when the product is still under warranty. Make sure to factor in the high price of insurance before you are lured into buying anything from Best Buy because even if the product is still under warranty Best Buy will not help you with anything. You will be at the mercy of the huge multi-national manufacturers.
They really dont want you to shop around during covid. I was hoping to browse but was instead asked what I wanted, it was brought to the register and I paid and was expected to leave.
Had to take two trips down to get my car radio installed. The man in charge of it is not friendly and ordered the wrong parts both times and wasted 2 hours of our lives to just tell us theres nothing he can do and gave me a refund. Save yourself time and go else where.

Worst place to ever call over the phone if you have a question for something. Weather its car audio or home related no one ever answers the phone. The automated system is a joke. Dont even waist your time waiting for help.. You have 20 some people at a time working and most of them are asking people who dont want help if they want help. If they wanted help they would call. But u dont answer the phones to know that.

Its a Best Buy, so some things (e.g. cables) are kinda overpriced. That said, the staff at this location have been very helpful each time Ive gone. If you need something that you cant get for a better price online, this is a good place to get it.

Best Buy McKnight Road Pittsburgh is great. Covid protocols are a priority. Geek Squad here is very helpful and knowledgable. Associates in the store ate patient and provide excellent info and suggestions. Customer service and care excellent.

When VZW sends you elsewhere to get a new phone because they have none you want in-stock what better place than down the road to BB?Phones are available there and no matter who your carrier is, they can hook you up.Wait time very minimal, service exceeded expectations, given a better deal than my carrier could or would provide.

Just got done buying a new TV and they even have me free delivery. The staff at this location has stepped it up since my last visit and covid has changed the level of service for sure. This is now my favorite location in my area

Call center is the worst!I was waiting for 15 mins, then someone replied.At first, I just tried to make sure the address was correct and agent asked me to wait for a sec (?!)Then additional 15 mins passed.I was pretty sure I was just muted, so I mentioned that it was very bad and I would make screenshot of this call... and, guess what? Call got turned off immediately!
I want to acknowledge an employee that had assisted me at the McKnight store in Pittsburgh, Pa. The employee’s name was Nick. I had asked for assistance with a case for my cellphone. Not only did he help me with confirming the correct case, but also wiped my phone down and then put my phone into the phone case. Excellent customer service!! Above an beyond. Also, I wish I would have gotten the female employees’s name at the entrance. She also was very helpful and polite. 10/29/20 at 130 pm.

They claim to price match, but when the price match is $60 lower, they refuse to honor it. Instead they pick a different random price and drop by $30..... i dont think they fully comprehend the concept
I like the way you make an appointment and come back to see an associate who can help with your issue. Associate was very knowledgeable and solved the problem. This is an advantage of having a dtoe with people versus ordering online.
I try to support Best Buy when making tech purchases since I go in store and rely on their input to make a decision. Amazon doesn’t help you there. I ordered things online from BestBuy.com and they sent the wrong item. Although BB customer support was horrible. I mean HORRIBLE Dan the assistant manager was fantastic in making things right. I’ll continue shopping at this store just because of how helpful and patient Dan was. Thank you Dan!!!!!
Worst store you can imagine, 1st call couldnt get past their automated system after 11 minutes. Hung up called back wanting to speak to the manager been on hold 28 minutes as the writing of this review. Have decided all the electronics I purchased for the holiday will be returned and will repurchase from Amazon..DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE
I spend thousands a year at Best Buy for both personal and business purchases. Well that all came to an end the other day thanks to Amanda and Shannon. By far the worse customer service I have ever experienced with any retail chain. I have amazon prime anyway, but it was nice to have the option to buy stuff locally . Ill just wait the 2 days now for shipping.
Be careful buying Televisions. What you read online might not be all that is disclosed about many famous brands. Example, Qled TVs reguire a professional calibration to get the same picture you see in the stores. They dont tell you that before purchase and online information. I found out the hard way. I dont like writing negative reviews but I dont want anyone else not getting the information before you buy. Im not saying dont buy from Best Buy just do your homework first. Be safe and good luck.

This place is completely under staffed! Every time I go there I end up standing around forever like a lost puppy while I look at the sales associates standing around congregating. I was there today for the last time! I stood around for 45 minutes b4 walking out empty handed.

Customer service at this location was horrible. We waited over 45 mintues to speak with someone who could help us. We ended up putting our order in online and that was an unpleasant experience as well. We tried calling the store multiple times and could not speak with a live in store team member. We waited 45 before hanging up the first time, 15 minutes the second time and then 15 minutes again the third time we tried. We never got through to anyone before we just gave up.
Dropped my computer and messed up the hard drive. Antonio fixed it free of charge. Golden boy.
This is the place to buy your electronics. They have very well educated and knowledgeable employees who help ease the process of your experience by recommended products and being there just to answer questions. I bought my latest TV from here!
Confusion over appointment time. Took longer than it seemed necessary, but the employee seemed inexperienced. He had to ask for help from a more experienced employee. I will give him the benefit of the doubt then. I am satisfied with the outcome for now.
