I’ve been going to CVS for years now. NYC and LA and now here in Pismo. This pharmacy and ppl who work there are amazing. They have the customers best interest at heart and call you back when they say they will call you, warm and fuzzy, and always go above and beyond with me! I truly appreciate that! Kudos to everyone who works at the pharmacy. Keep up the good work.

Store well-stocked, clean and display shelves neatly organized. Employees very helpful. Pharmacy does a great job, too. CVS works great with my Aetna PPO plan for meds.

I go shopping late in the evening. Not crowded, the cashier was pretty cool. Got what I needed.

It was good but Im freezing

PIT STOP ! We headed straight here after a nice breakfast in Grover Beach to pick up an antibiotics prescription for my wife who was treated for a medical condition the previous night at a nearby hospital. Ever since we saw the movie Zombieland where zombies were running amok in supermarkets I am always half expecting a zombie to run around the corner of an aisle. Ha ha I didnt see any in here today while I was waiting for my wife. They had lots of neat stuff incl Haagen Dazs Mango Ice Cream....I love mangoes. And then we were gone !

I’ve lived all over the country and been to many pharmacies. This is BY FAR the worst I’ve ever been to.I just waited in a 15 minute line to get to my prescription. Then they sent me to a different line (5 minute wait) to get my insurance placed into there system....an instead of completing my order, I am in the back of the original line (20 minutes long) still waiting to get my prescription. The people are nice, but their processing system leaves much to be desired.

Too often this location does not have enough on hand to fill prescriptions. You either leave with a few to tide you over or are told they will contact you when your prescription is ready - which can take days. For a chain of this size this is completely unacceptable. If you rely on your pharmacy to have what you need when you need it for your health and well-being, and you are able, I suggest you go elsewhere.

We have been satisfied customers of CVS for years. However the prescription service has been on the decline for the last year and now is unworkable...notices to come in to pick up prescriptions only to find out they are not ready or out of stock, understaffed, etc etc.. in the retail section, major brands being replaced with CVS private label...... also understaffed. You can tell everyone is trying, but working under consumer stress.

I know I should be on here reviewing on the store, overall the store is great and so are most of the employees. My review however, is going to be about an employee named Michelle, who claimed to have been the manager, she treated my mom so poorly and was very rude and aggressive. My mom went back into the store after realizing she didn’t get the bucks she was supposed to get back and the “manager” very rudely dismissed her. My mom wanted someone who spoke Spanish so she could fully understand why she didn’t get them, and when my mom asked if anyone spoke Spanish (the guy who had helped us earlier did) Michelle very harshly said no and called on the next customer as she was the only person working. Typically I would never write a negative review about an employee. But if she really is the manager to that store, I hope they find someone who is kinder and does not dismiss someone simply because they don’t speak English the way the rest of us do. If she isn’t the manager, then I hope someone sees this and tell her that what she did was wrong. If she is the manager and reads this, you need to treat people with more respect. I don’t care if you had the worst day, all of that should disappear when you go into work.

Apparently, CVS does not accept returns on Sudafed, or accept it as an exchange. I have to send it to be destroyed if I dont want it, and they get to keep there money, even though it had an adverse affect on me. The receipt does not state this return policy, and the pharmacy staff at the time off purchase did not state this policy to me either.

Really understaffed! I had received a text message that medicine was ready, but when I went to pick it up they had no idea where it was. They said it would just take a minute... It then took them 25 minutes before it was in my hands.

Slow for prescriptions.
