I was very impressed with the staff. The young lady helping me took the time to show me all the ranges available and answer all my questions. It was a great experience.

Well if you can deal with the owner of the picayune Sears, its great. All of our appliances have came from there. But youhave to watch them trying to pull fast ones on you by giving you the show room floor stuff or things that dont work period. had it happen a few times! Make sure what you buy is in the box period!

Lease program was NOT fully explained. Found out full lease terms after purchase email was sent and item was at our home. It w as explained that after lease payments we would own item ...NO. You own it after lease payments PLUS and extra payment of triple the amount?! Poor poor service of explanation. Item is going back today!!

Great customer service. They explain how to use my lawn mower. They helped me get a lease and explained to where I could understand it.

I have an old upright freezer. The metal key broke in the lock and I have been searching for 2 weeks trying to get a new key. I went to Sears Hometown and they knew exactly what I need and ordered a replacement key that day. It was great!

This is the worst store in the Sears chain, although they will be the first to tell you they are not a Sears if you have a problem. The store is basically ran by the staff, and one of the rudest people I have ever met, the excuse is she has a back problem and taking medication and doesnt feel well. The owner is only present at opening and closing, if your lucky. If your not lucky you will have to deal with the rudest staff I have every dealt with, you have been warned, and honestly I dont even know why this store is still open, or has business at all.

I called this store to attempt to return an item that I had bought at a larger Sears store, they were the closest to me. They happen to have the identical item in stock and mine was under warranty. After talking to someone there that said sure no problem, come on down, I planned to do that. Just before leaving to go a few days later, I called to make sure they still had the item I needed to exchange for, and they said sorry, cant help you, you need to visit a mainline store. So, I called another hometown store and explained my situation to them, they said no problem but they would have to order the item, which could take 2 weeks. They said the store in Picayune should not have refused to help me and that I should speak to their manager. 2 days now and the manager or owner is never there. Dont waste your time here, go to Lowes or Walmart.Update: The owner/manager finally responded to my review, but never called me back, and I left my name and phone number. I had to travel through Magee recently and they happen to have the same model of vac as I was needing to replace, and they were very helpful and efficient and exchanged it for me. Kudos to the Magee store.
