After having a bad experience with a Phoenix AC company whose company founder has the initials G.B., I used word of mouth to find a recommended PHX air conditioning company. The recommendation led me to REEis. Thus far, ~1 month into the new installation, I have no major issues and feel that I got a reasonable price. For price, I had three quotes and I talked to my neighbor who had two recent quotes for his kids house. REEis still owes me a major item so hopefully, I do not have to make any adjustments to this review. By the way, I am not a paid review. I know it is hard to trust online reviews these days ... and that is why I started with a recommendation who was my wifes sister (they had used REEis about six months before we used them)..
Professional, prompt, on time, stellar communication top notch above and beyond service. Ive used other companies in the past and the difference is noticed. Technician Dennis was wonderful, spoke in terms that I was able to understand and not industry jargon. Overall as perfect a interaction as it gets and I have already passed on his information and the companies to a friend needing service. While Im thankful no issues were detected if I ever needed a repair I will call and feel confident honesty would be given.
Install had a freon leak from the start, told it might have been low on the initial install. Nope, leak and oil up in the attic unit not even checked, had to have them out and fix a couple weeks later. Lines to the condensation drip are routed backwards and they would not fix it, this is shoddy work and now I have to hire another come to fix their poor install, bummed.Updated, they reached out after the review, and wanted to make this right. Overall to be fair they have been helpful and will make sure the install is right, that is what I expect so good to go now
Stephen Baker from REEis just completed the summer service for my two heat pumps. He was VERY knowledgeable and efficient. He explained everything clearly, and left a paper copy of the results for each unit. He answered all of my questions, and made thoughtful suggestions that allowed me to take care of maintenance for both units (all year) for one price. The AC Technician, Dennis, was very helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to servicing our unit, he helped us get the thermostat connected to our cell phones through the app, which we previously had technical issues with. He ask gave us additional information about the options and functions of our unit and made recommendations to help extend the life of the unit. Overall, Dennis and his coworker were very helpful and friendly!

It said 24/7 response. While I admit 2:30 am is not an opportune time to set up an appointment, I have two cats and a dog in a house that is 83F in the middle of the night after what I believe is the fan breaking down in the AC. By midday, Im going to to have to relocate them and myself.The response I got for using the emergency phone number was an answering machine that stated you have reached **muffled noises like a phone being rustled in a pocket** followed by an answering machine beep to leave a message. Not exactly a promising lead.Edited update: A response 2 months after the incident occurred using passive aggressive undertones. Yeah, about what I expected.
Great, honest service. Have used then repeatedly the last 3 years. Technicians are very professional and respectful and take the time to complete the job right. Recommend them everyone I know and call them every year to keep my HVAC system running efficiently.

Horrible customer service. They were the HVAC company that my home builder used. One compressor in my two compressor house went out after 6 months. Came and diagnosed it on a Friday. Couldnt fix because needed a part. Came back the next Tuesday with the new part, didnt fix the problem. Said they needed a special tool. Said they would be back in a day or two with the tool. I called to schedule and they said they couldnt come back until the next Thursday. So basically two weeks after I initially called them. Horrible customer service. Come to find out they didnt replace any part on the 2nd return trip. That they actually just tried to clean the part. Then I found out the part they were waiting for is a semi-generic part that any A/C company would have in stock. So half my house, the part with all my kids bedrooms stayed in the mid 80s, while they waited for a part that any A/C company would have in stock. Such BS.

Where do I even begin? Purchased 2 new systems, new ducts and added insulation back in April for a late May install. It’s not July and we are still not fully up and running. To say we are disappointed in the service we received post purchase is an understatement.

Poor work conditions people here cut insulation all day without wearing masks or having vacuums in the shop, there’s literally so much fiber glass in the air and they DO NOT CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEE HEALTH.I got sick and instead of going into work and getting everybody else sick, I decided to take a COVID test on Sunday when I had work Monday, I let them know I took a COVID test and cannot make it in to work cause I don’t wanna get anyone sick and they fired me, they fired me because I didn’t want to get them sick. They fired me because I was precautious and they fired me over Covid. I should take these guys to court.

REEIS IS THE BESTWe started out with Reeis from the home & garden show. We decided to invite them to give us an energy audit. IT WAS THE BEST SPENT $99! Eduardo is absolutely amazing at explaining the process on a project. He is so knowledgeable and easygoing. The crew that did the work were great guys. All of them were very respectful and quality minded in their work. We have saved lots on our energy bill since then. Today we had REEIS replace our A/C unit. We would not have considered anyone else. We were not disappointed: Orlando, Vincent and the rest of the crew were awesome, professional, and personable. We look forward to a long term relationship with the service department for the regular service checks that will protect our investment.

Their communication is terrible. After signing contract and paying 50% down, I waited and waited for them to schedule. Then got a call that I still owed them the other 50% as the job had been finished some time earlier. Finally got scheduled but I had to cancel due to illness. Got rescheduled, guys came out to do the insulation and add a return. Couldnt finish the return as they needed a Y. Was told that I would get a call in a day or so for the tech to come finish job ( a 30 min job) . A week later, I got a call at 9:30am that they wanted to come that day between 11 and 1. Not possible so agreed to 2pm. Had to take off work early and go home. Tech arrives, no one had filled him in on the details of what needed to be done. He needed another tech to help him. Had to wait for one to drive to Goodyear. Took until 630pm to complete as the part that was sent out was the wrong size so they had to fabricate a fix. Then this morning I noticed that the attic access was left off. Overall a disappointing experience

I’ve lived in the Valley since 1984, and used REEis over the last five years. They are hands down the BEST AC company around. They are very knowledgable and have given us valuable advice. They did an energy makeover of our house that brought our 1960’s cooling system way into the 21st century, adding much comfort and value to our home. Steve was our technician for our annual a/c tune up. We have an old unit and Steve was very thorough and explained what our options were and what might be the first to go on the unit. We have used Reeis for years and feel very comfortable with the information they provide.
This review is delayed a couple years. We had a room above the garage that was much warmer than the rest of the house. Reeis came out, took a bunch of temp/airflow measurements input them into a program. They provided a proposal for around $4k which would correct our problem. (Included additional spray insulation, running a return air return line and a couple other small items. We did not see any significant difference after completion. That room still was 10 degrees hotter than the rest of house. After calling them they offered a 3rd solution by running additional return line from another room upstairs, no change. Finally offered another $2k solution to put control valves in the ducts to increase airflow to the hot room. I asked that they only charge is the cost of this fix and never heard from them again.My next door neighbor saw them at our house and hired them to do some work. Had a similar experience, thousands of dollars with no significant change.We have since replaced both AC and AHU’s in our home. The room is still warmer than the rest of the house but the new units made it much better.
Tyler and the entire team did an exceptional job! I had to have my entire ductwork re-done and insulation added in the ceiling. Before Reeis came, my AC would run anywhere from 30-90 minutes at a time to cool my house one degree. No joke. Now...10 minutes!! I never write reviews, but truly thought this company deserves it! We have in the past had Stephen as our technician and that is why when we called this time we specifically asked for him. He is thorough in his checking our unit and takes time to explain how our system works. We very much appreciate and trust him as our technician.
We needed some serious help before the summer got super hot, and REEis was the answer. We recently moved into a new home, we were not happy with the company that was providing warranty work for the units we have. REEis was more than accommodating by sending over one of there technicians to come and do a whole house evaluation. Within an hour, Stephen had discovered numerous fault points that required immediate attention. He was thorough, kind, prompt and treated the inspection like it was on his own home. Once the warranty runs out with this other company, we will be coming to REEis for all our heating and cooling needs.

The service technician, Steven, came out to service our heating and cooling units. They were due servicing and one of the heating units was not operating. He found the problem and explained it, and completed the repair. He serviced both systems as well. He was very thorough, pleasant, and represented his company well.
REEis was more than i expected in the flex duct work installed through out my home.. from the initial visit to recommend and design the system to the install, all employees were professional, courteous and very cautious of keeping dust and dirt to a minimum. The new ducts and registers improved the home in comfort tremendously.

Total waste of money. I called them out to do an energy audit and look into a hot room. Paid $99 for the energy audit. REEis came back with two estimates for additional services, one for $19k and one for $10k. Basically wanted to remove all existing insulation and ducts for the entire house (the home was constructed by a reputable builder in 1996). Told me that the total potential savings would be $900/year and it would fix the hot room. After declining their services, I fixed the hot room myself by re-adjusting some of the a/c vents (one was blowing right on the thermostat). Got a quote from another company for additional insulation for $2,300. They said the system looked great. I would recommend not using unless you want to be taken advantage of.
A few years ago I had REEis replace an an old AC unit. They moved the interior components of a spilt system from a wall closet to the attic. They great job, very happy when the result. Though recently I called them to have another system replaced and never heard back from them,
REEis originally installed my TRANE 18 Seer veritable speed AC System in 2018 after my old 1998 Carrier unit died in July 2018, they saved me that summer, Howard Air was some how, so busy at that time & date they were not able to help me out, I went 8 days without AC, called REEis, a Rosie On The House Company, 2 days later I was blessed with COLD AIR, today 5/17 19, my man Stephen Baker, a really knowledgeable Service Technician came out for a yearly Advance Air Conditioning TUNE -UP, he was very pleasant, and did a really great job, REEis ROCKS !

I chose REEis through SRP home evaluation. It was $99 so not bad to see if I could improve on my home. They came out and did their testing. They were friendly and worked quickly. Explained what the tests were, the results, and gave their honest feedback regarding any fixes. I liked that they gave me advice what to do now and how to prepare for the future when the A/C will eventually need replacing.

I tried this company this year instead of my regular guy. I had Danny out to my house to do air conditioning tune up. Very professional and detailed. I am use to getting a $1,000 list of part to repair with a high pressure sale tactic. He showed me that some of the previous recommendations were not even valid and found the real issue the other guys never even talked to me about in my previous appointments. I will use them again.

REEis came out and serviced our unit. A couple of things needed replaced through natural wear. However the unit is still performing well. The REEis crew instills trust in the service industry.

My wife and I are full time Phoenix residents. I selected REEis after talking to neighbor who uses REEis and then talking with the REEis owner about their qualifications. Stephen was sent out to do our spring AC check. He called ahead and told us when he would arrive. We have a Trane AC system and Stephen is a trained Trane service technician. This was one of my selection criteria. I thought he handled himself very professionally and knowledgeably. Stephen was very thorough. I followed him around as he made his checks and I asked questions. Once he made all the manual checks, he connected wifi sensors to the condenser lines and used supply and return air temp sensors on the supply and return air house. With all this, he as able to view the entire AC system parameters in cooling mode. He explained all the results. He made suggesting on using less expensive air filters that would improve system life and reduce energy consumption. REEis is far and away better than C... B..... (small owner) company that I was using. I was very impressed REEis and plan to continue to use them for our HVAC servicing,
