We were having challenges with our garage door opener. We called Lodi twice, and they never showed up for either appointment. And each of the appointments they scheduled were 3 or 4 days after our calls. When the opener finally failed, I did a google search and found Shea Garage Door Services, and they were near by.When I called, they said they could be here within the hour. They were here in about 40 minutes. They showed us what and why the opener was failing and offered us a couple of options, and gave us their recommendation. We had a new garage door opener installed about an hour later.Service was professional and friendly. It is the only phone number we need going forward.

Al is a total Pro and a great guy too. My car was stuck in the garage and he came out the same day. No extra fee for the fast service, just a great job fixing my garage door fast. His pricing is great too, very honest. The belt is about to go on the unit and its 17 years old. He said, no problem, call liftmaster, it has a lifetime warranty they will send a new one for free. This is my second time needing their service, first I needed a spring and they gave me the best price and responded very quickly. This time I smashed the garage door on my truck. Needless to say it was a very bad day. He came out so I could at least close my garage the same day. Then returned in a couple of days to replace the entire door. Our garage door spring broke late last night, so I called Shea Garage Doors first thing this morning (on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Al, the owner, promptly answered the phone and was at our residence within the hour. Al was extremely kind, professional, clean, knowledgeable, and timely. He was able to replace our garage spring, oil our door, and make sure it was balanced within 30 minutes. He was about half of the price of all of the other garage companies I called, and was beyond fair in his pricing. My garage door is working much smoother and quieter than it was before! Al never tried to upsell me on any additional repairs or parts and he was completely transparent and honest about the condition of my garage door. The spring on my garage door broke and while I have the necessary tools to replace them, it seems that it is impossible to source the springs locally anymore. I could have bought them online, but Sheas replacement service was such a fair price at $139+Tax that it just made sense to utilize their assistance rather than deal with the hassle of buying parts online and wait for shipping. Al was very friendly, came out the next day and replaced the springs quickly and effectively. Had these guys replace some springs on my garage door about 2 years ago when my spring broke . I called another company out to service my Garage because it was getting noisy this past weekend and the tech showed me my door was not balanced . When the door was down the door moved up by itself and when it was all the way up it fell on its own only to rest in the middle . I was explained that this can cause extra ware on my garage door motor which it had done. sometimes you get what you pay for when you look for the cheapest company and now I have paid the price with more expense. Make sure your garage door is balanced before you pay anything. Youtube can be very resourceful.

Our garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon after backing out and closing the garage door. Called Al immediately as I had his contact from a referral long before. He scheduled for repair Monday 2 PM and he arrived promptly. Within 20 mins 2 new springs were installed and everything worked properly and quieter. Price was very reasonable.

My spring broke last night on my door....after calling a repair company today and being told a price of $287 for both springs, I called Shea Garage Door Service and spoke to Al, he told me for both springs it would be $140 and could be here TODAY between 10-11. Not only did he quote me $147 LESS he also showed up @ 10:30 and my door was opening by 10:50!!!! I cant say hope happy I am with Al and his repair!! I called the garage door company on my opener (sticker) used by the previous home owner. He said 1 to 4 hours before someone would be out. As I had no idea the price I was looking around the net and found the company I called had terrible reviews. And no prices. I found Shea Garage doors web site, 139 for what I needed replace the springs as one had busted. I called he answered the phone said hed here in less than a hour showed up in 30 minutes. Need less to say I canceled the other company. Had the springs fixed and the door operating in less than an hour. I couldnt be happier Al was awesome.

I called this company to have the springs of my garage door replaced two years ago. The owner came out and did the job. When I went to write him a check for the agreed-upon amount, he told me that he actually had done a tune-up, and now the total would go up by $99. What?? I begrudgingly paid him and didnt worry about it until this morning, when I went to leave for work. My springs were broken and the cables snapped. I called another, reputable company and they came out. It turns out that Shea Garage Door had put in springs that were too small for the weight of my door. Now I need an overhaul of the moving parts because of the shoddy work performed. Ive learned my lesson...pay now or pay much more later.

I called Shea Garage doors Tuesday January 5th and spoke to the owner Al who was very nice and he answered all of our questions and gave us a price quote over the phone for the conversion replacement for both springs for our Wayne Dalton Garage door. We were very surprised at the low quote that he gave us, because other places gave us a price of almost $400 or more. So I made an appointment for Wednesday January 6th at 1 pm. We were so glad that it was going to be repaired because the door was broken since late summer. To our surprise, Al called and said he finished with his last job and wanted to know if he could come earlier to fix the door at 11:30 am. This was fine with us and so he arrived on time and went right to work. He was very personable and friendly and explained everything to us and replaced the springs, cables and other parts that was needed to repair the door. Made the necessary adjustments on the door and the garage door opener and took the broken parts away to be disposed of for us. He was finished in and hour and we are so happy and pleased with Als work. We can truly say this is and honest man filled with integrity who did exactly what he said he would do and charged exactly what he quoted us. Al saved us $151.00 or more that we would have had to pay some of the other places that we got quotes from. I told Al you really made my day and I know my Husband to, as he has been having to pull our trash cans from the back yard to the front yard for pick up and then put them away.Thank God for family who are staying with us who have been helping him and now they wont have to do this anymore.
