Called to get a quote on a personalized jersey. I couldnt hear over the machine in the background and was hung up on. I called back and asked how I could get a kids jersey personalized. I sent 3 emails asking if they could give me a quote. I did what I was instructed to do and emailed them with photos. I never received a response. Looks like Im not the only one who feels this place is awful. I mean horrible! The lady who answers the phone seems to hate life. How sad.
Amazing work and incredibly honest hard working folks with amazing embroidery skills
WARNNING do not and i mean do not go to this jackass store. Richard was not professional and gave every Excuse in the book why he did not have my stuff ready. Took 3 months to get my stuff and wasnt even finished. Very horrible service
Nothing but broken promises. Very disappointed. Will not recommend to anyone who wishes to have items in a timely manner. No communication whatsoever.
Very satisfied with my order - great owner, they are quick and quality of work very good . Definitely will be back with future orders
I run a club baseball program with approximately 30 kids. Went in looking for jerseys, screen printing, hats and embroidery. I was literally going in EVERY day to follow up on the progress of my order as Richard wouldnt/couldnt answer his phone. I kept getting promises that things were being delivered but not once did I ever see any product that had ever come in. Finally, after 2 weeks I cancelled everything with this guy. DO NOT do business with him. Promises and NO action.
Quality is poor, proceed with caution.
Last year 2018, I brought Richard from R&L Embroidery 25 turkish towels to have monogrammed for a birthday present. He and all of his staff were professional. He gave me great advice on how, where, size and general thought on my wording. Going to use him again soon for a family reunion to monogram cashmere blankets for 20. So I know he’ll be careful with his machines.
I had to order a small order (10) of custom patches to be made in a short time-frame. The people over at R&L Embroidery were able to get the quotes for me quickly, as well as get the artwork set up and the patches made in a couple weeks! Their prices were very fair and were they were timely with their production. Other shops I spoke to would not make those patches or simply wouldnt take the order because of the lower quantity, etc. I recommend for projects like this!
The owner seems to be a very nice guy however this business does not meet the expectations on what an embroider shop is or should be. I ordered my embroidered snapbacks on January 8, 2019 it took more then 5 weeks to complete my order. On average an embroidery or clothing apparel business should take 10 business days to complete an order. The company was not truthful on meeting deadlines. The communication is very poor. In relation to the physical products I ordered there is a lack of detail. They will ignore your phone calls, emails, text messages, etc..The only way to get something done is for you to show up to there office and micro manage them. The employees do not know what they are doing and one of the employees manage to get into a heated argument with two of our employees. The quality of the embroidered hats is not worth the $400 Dollars that I paid for them. The embroidery is sloppy and poorly executed. I would stay clear from this company.
Excellent service, and fast! Just needed a name embroidered on a lab coat. He completed it on the spot! The price was lower than other services had quoted. Will definitely be back!
Called earlier and was able to get what I needed the same day... thanks Richard
Has had my product and money for over a year. Promises to deliver to my work, but never does. Never calls, emails, nor physical mails. Always has a different personal tragedy excuse everytime I call or stop by. Total thief!
R&L does great embroidery work. But the service is awful. I was told my order would be ready on a certain day and upon going to pick up, I was told it wasnt ready.. no courtesy phone call at all. Several orders I put in were incorrectly embroidered and I felt like it was a push to get them to correct their mistake. This last time, I was told the owner would replace the jacket he incorrectly embroidered. He told me he would let me know by Monday... I havent heard anything. Terrible customer service. I gave them several chances, knowing its a small mom and pop shop and mistakes happen. But when you take no initiative to fix your mistakes, thats when Ill take my business elsewhere. I have tried to get in touch with the owner but they answer their phones maybe 1/5 times you call and the store is randomly closed at different times of the day, which makes it even harder to get in touch. Stay aware from this place unless you want to deal with the headache of fixing items they messed up on and having to pay out of pocket to fix their mistake.
Richard was really nice but the services was bad. We give them two chances and both orders took over a month to get done. We did screen prints on the back of some shirts and they werent straight. It was very upsetting. I would not recommend them.
The owner/operator seems to genuinely be a nice person. The quality of the product I received however was not what I expected and to make matters worse, delivery was delayed twice after repeated confirmation. It may be that he has over committed, and my experience was very inconvenient and disappointing.
Wow- I wonder if we are all going to the same store? I’ve been taking things there for almost 10 years and have always had great service, with product that turned out wonderful.
Never ready as promised, very nice guy but just not truthful on the finish date. They do great work and if you have plenty of time and keep calling they will get it done. Just dont think the date he gives is really when it will be finished!
Im actually doing this guy a favor and giving him one star. Horrible horrible horrible communication skills and not honest at all . For the love of God, do not use this company!
Ruined my 2T soccer jersey for my sons birthday. Richard said he would never embroider a shirt so small and would screen print and would be ready in a week but when the week was up, no shirt to speak of. Came back days later and still no shirt, finally after 2 weeks my shirt was complete only they had embroidered it and now it looks just awful. It is bunched in the back and my 2month old can not wear this shirt properly due to the embroidery. When I asked the front desk person why they did this, she informed me that it was an accident so I asked for my money back to which she replied they dont keep money on property and she doesnt know how to reimburse or write checks - I later find out she is the owners daughter. Still, this is an on going process now a month later and I still dont have my money back. They keep promising to refund me but tell me lies when I call everyday. Do NOT bring your business here - unethical
Absolutely the worst company 3 weeks after ordering shirts and hats all kind of excuses why they werent completed everyday saying they would be done the next day then refused to do the work after suggesting we should go somewhere else. Avoid at all cost
Poor guy just cant seem to get it done.Apart of me wants to believe he cares.I really think he lost his mojo.
Though this shop does good work the owner who handles all orders has horendous customer service skills, phone skills and follow through. Find a different shop if you want to receive the product you order. On October 1st 2015 I placed 2 shirt orders with the owner of the business Richard Saenz who handles the front desk and customer service for his business. When I placed the order I paid for the order in advance trusting it would be completed. The first order I needed by October 10th 2015 for an event, these shirts were delivered on time and I was satisfied with the service and product. The second order I needed by November 6th 2015 for another event. I contacted Mr. Saenz on November 2nd to remind him of the shirts needed by that Friday, he stated he should have no problem getting them by then, however he did have a problem and refused to address the problem throughout the week causing me to not receive my shirt order. The shirts we ordered though missed for that event, could be used for other events in the future so I told Mr. Saenz to just please get them completed as soon as possible. From that point on I entered his shop on 6 occasions, called several more times than that as well as sent emails. Throughout the process he never responded to my voice mails or emails and when I was in his store he gave me the same excuse every time stating that he had to terminate the employees at his screen printing location and had to make the shirts again, however he already handled that and would pick them up as soon as he could go over to that location. After 3 months of waiting for him to fulfill my order I went into his shop and requested a refund January 5th 2015. He uses Square and said it would not be immediate. I followed up 2 days later via phone call when I did not have the money returned into my account. Then 2 weeks later when I still didnt have the money in my account, I emailed him. To this day I still dont have the money or shirts or response or returned funds. Mr. Saenz has extremely poor customer service which is appalling especially for a man who professes to have better values!
Wonderful people!
I never make a point to harm anyones business or personal reputation. However, in this case, I feel morally obligated to warn others of R & L Embroideries disgraceful business practices. On September, 28th 2012, I contracted R and L to custom make 6 work shirts and embroider 1 hat. I payed in full $184.88. I sent them the logo file Saturday September 29th, where it was agreed that I would receive an email Monday the 1st of October to view my logo prior to application. I called Tuesday October 9th to inquire about my tardy order. The owner, Richard Saenz, was out and the office staff promised to leave a message. I also, left a message by phone on Wednesday the 11th and no returned call. On the 12th I visited the store in person. I expressed my concern over poor communication and follow through. I received excuses and a promise that the items would be ready at 2:30pm. I called at 4:00pm to ensure they were ready to pick up prior to 5:00pm close. The items we not ready so Richard promised to deliver them since he lived close to my home that evening and to repair his broken promise. He said he would call prior to delivery but failed to do so. I became very upset and felt lied to and deceived. I tried to call him at 7:30pm, to find out where he was, but there was no answer on his cell phone. At 7:50 I called my bank and requested a reversal of bank charges on my invoice. I fell very disrespected and marginalized. My disappointment, frustration and sense of sadness are the unfortunate consequences of dealing with this unorganized and dishonest business. On Tuesday September, 16th I had Phoenix Police escort me into his business to pick-up my unfinished baseball cap. Mr. Saenz ignored us and continued answering phone calls for five minutes while myself and the two Phoenix Officers waited.I guess what hurt the most is that we had a nice conversation about his adopted children and our Catholic faith. With all the lies and deception and corresponding poor reviews, I fear he lied about his faith as well. God bless them in their time of need, I tried to be fair and reasonable.
Steer clear, scam artist all the way around.
