Just ordered 5 pairs of glasses at a steal. Kindest workers and best customer service I’ve had in a long time! It was genuine kindness and they were sincere in wanting to help us.Debbie was fabulous. The gentleman (mike I think) that helped my husband was very kind. Very easy to do business with them. I will without a doubt return.***The Dr. was also so so kind. I mean, even the girls of front were kind. All around I’d give them more stars if I could.

The staff was incredibly helpful and got me in and out when my glasses had a pretty rough time the night before. Went into detail on the health of my eyes post examination along with Sarah helping me find new frames with improved lenses like Blue Light filtering and Anti-glare additions. All in all a really great experience and can’t wait to get my new glasses in! Highly recommend Visionworks Fountain Square!

A great experience from the doctor to the sales people when I was choosing frames. It was very clear what my insurance was paying for and there was a good selection of frames to choose from. I ended up getting my glasses in just a few days, which was an added bonus!

Had a great experience! I talk too much when nervous but they were so patient, even with the puff test. The doctor listened to my concerns without making me feel silly, and the people on the floor even helped me pick out my frames when I was having a hard time picking. Super nice place.

The people who work here need to learn how to behave with the customers.Date: June 04th, 2021Arrival time: 17:34Left within 60 seconds because of one of the employees who I believe was the manager.As soon as I entered she asked what do I need which is okay, I said Im here to look for Eyeglasses to which she said she is not going to help with the purchase or anything else.I said Im here to look and dont need help. She kept saying the same thing and finally said she will give me a tray in which I can put the used glasses.I dont know whats wrong with her and why that type of attitude towards me but I want to let her know one thing, I was not going to camp there nor I was buying anything right away. I have VSP insurance through which I found this place and as soon as my work was done, I drove as quickly as possible. I do understand the closing time (which was 6 pm so I had 26 minutes to look) and how people feel and had no intention to spend more than 15 minutes but the way this lady treated me, I have no words for her but can say that she is not a professional person and this kind of behavior hurts businesses the most.When I decided to write a review, I saw other experiences and surprised how can they even tolerate such a treatment to customers. She is not doing her job and rather causing disappointment to the customers.I hope she gets to learn something about customer service someday. And due to this treatment, I left in less than 60 seconds because I cant stand unnecessary dramatic people who dont respect others and never going to visit this place ever.

They are still doing Covid restrictions. The hand sanitizer is awful. They check you in and require the sanitizer. You cant just walk in to buy glasses yet either. The plus is the eye doctors are great.

This place Discriminated against me. I drove across the street to a competitor eye glass store and had much better treatment and no discrimination. If you dont like being treated like a second class citizen dont do business with this company

I was not going to post anything openly on Yelp, but after thinking about it I decided to post this.I saw the vision works store from across the street and wanted to see about getting replacement lenses. Before I even had the chance to inquire about it the woman interrupts and say says “ Did you get them at a Visionworks?” I didn’t even have the chance to say no when she interrupted again and said,” we can’t help you!” To which I replied “ Can’t buy replacement lenses?” to which she replied “oh you want to buy lenses.” Long story short you only get to make a first impression one, had she listened she would have known that off the bat! So, I’m cancelling my appointment for tomorrow, and going to another place where they did make a good first impression.

Being that the times we are in, you would expect for people to be nice. Not overtly nice but understanding that the world has completely changed thus making every interaction different. This location clearly doesn’t understand the good customer service can go along way. I witnessed the receptionist Briana be completely rude to a customer, when this location screwed up the customers contacts. Instead of showing concern and seeing what could be done for the inconvenience all she continued to say was, well that’s policy. However it is established that with the state of the country that things have to be altered. She made absolutely no attempt to reach out to the doctor who made the error to see how they could rectify the problem. In order to do you better you must know better, please educate and train your staff on customer service and empathy. Do better next time !

I heard the Doctor was GREAT so I waited two weeks for an appointment. They were unable to verify my insurance even though my wife was a patient there in the the past and had used it. Incompetence abounds at THIS location. Ill try another. I recommend you do the same.

Deborah (I think that’s her name) was very nice and helpful both times we stopped in here. Suzette (I also think) was also helpful and friendly. The exam was quick, I was in the waiting room as my husband was the patient. Now, the glasses, lenses, coatings, etc.....that’s where it’s really expensive. Thankfully we have decent insurance, but even with insurance it was costly. I won’t come here for my glasses due to the cost, but everyone was nice.

Janine!! And her staff is absolutely amazing!!!! Visionworks on the Westside was absolutely booked. I got ahold of her and she couldn’t really give me a firm spot but she worked with me as best as she could to get me in because my contacts was on its last leg. I tell you. She and her staff worked diligently to get me in provided me with the greatest service ever working with me to get my contacts and now I found a new home for my contacts and glasses and I am forever grateful of Janine and her staff. Thanks guys really! Thank you!!!! 🙏🏽

I came to this location last week to have an eye exam with contacts. I ordered glasses with my insurance and was told Id have to come back for my contacts once they came in. I was called to pick up my glasses and was given the option to make an appointment or just walk in. However, when it came to the contacts, they offered me an appointment more than a week away. They said I had to be fitted and see the doctor. They would not release them without being seen at all and so far Ive made three trips to this office! I have another appointment Friday, hopefully they dont screw anything up during that visit, itll be my fourth trip. This is a huge inconvenience having to come back multiple times just to pick up something that you already paid for. I will surely NOT be coming back to this place.

Update:. Never received a call back about my daughters contacts. On top of that no one ever answers the phone and the web site is too complicated and so I am not sure if what I needed to do was available on line.Today received a text about upcoming appointments, which I never scheduled. I tried to call so I could cancel them but like I said no one answers the phone. The automated voice said to look for an email about the appointments and those could be rescheduled or canceled via a link in the email or go to the web site. Did both, the only link is to update paperwork. I will not fill out paperwork for a business I will no longer be doing business with.Called bc I needed to order contacts for my daughter, she had only received the trial pair. Their records are not accurate, the girl was saying she never came in for her follow up. I informed her she did not require a follow-up as she was not new to wearing contacts. To he girl was confused by whatever was in the records and said she had to ask someone and would call me back. I never received a return call as promised.I will not be returning here and will get my families glasses and contacts elsewhere.

They were the best ever! The doctor was great and so helpful!! There was also a lot of frames to choose from. More than any other store I have been in and I have been wearing glasses for 60 years. My husband was even very pleased with the service and the price. We will be go back there again for sure!!Thanks to all of you for your great help!!Sharon King

Honestly, worst experience I’ve had in trying to get contacts and glasses. Very poor quality staff, it’s taken us over 2 and a half months to get the contacts in. We’ve called multiple times because my husband cannot see. His glasses are broken as well. We tend to get the same lady to answer, she says “ I’ll call you back with an answer.” Ok, almost two weeks later.Never go here. Waste of time and money.

I first visited this location March of 2020 and they ordered a pair of contact lenses unfortunately I was unable to pick them up due to the Covid-19 state shut down (understandable). Two of my trail pair contact lenses were ordered incorrectly, I understand this is human error. However the two receptionists Brianna and Janine are very unhelpful and unprofessional. Janine has given me false information multiple times, I requested to have my file transferred to another location due to the hostility and unprofessionalism, Janine told me this was impossible, the doctor later encouraged me to go to another location and gave me my paperwork. Aside from giving me misinformation and incorrectly ordering my lenses the receptionists are rude, lack empathy, & twice the doctor ordered the wrong pair of contacts. It is now July and I still don’t have my contacts. I am unable to purchase contacts at another location because they haven’t completed my prescription. I would have to visit an entirely different eye doctor and pay out of pocket for another prescription since this location already billed my insurance. These employees do not understand the line of business they are in I literally cannot see, an empathic statement would have prevented my review. This entire experience has been terrible I would not recommend this location to anyone!

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN...If they say your glasses will be ready in MAX 10 days they ARE LYING. I called and the gentleman working to fit glasses to your face was SO unprofessional ( laughing at my question, telling me I’m not going to receive my glasses but he will give me a “refund” that is not ok. I paid for the glasses and at this point it had already been 12 days.) I then talked with the general manager of the store, she made things happen quicker but I had to call 100 times and this was after the fact she let me know how bad my eye sight is and that’s why I haven’t received them yet.. I know I can’t see... hence why I would need my glasses.. she made the situation correct but I AM THE CUSTOMER WHY DO I HAVE TO GET SO STRESSED OUT JUST TO RECEIVE A PRODUCT I PAID YOU MONEY FOR. For your own sanity choose a different location PLEASE.

I have witnessed the employee Janine be extremely unprofessional and incompetent during a phone conversation with a patient. Until they retrain or replace her I will be sharing this information until this issue is rectified I am sure this isn’t the first time or the last. Also after the call she spoke negatively to her coworker and it made me very uncomfortable.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STOREOrdered glasses on Nov 7. Was promised the glasses the next day. After the bill was paid I was then told it would be up to 10 business days. Here it is 13 business days (19 days total) and “WOOPSIE we have no idea where your glasses are or when they’ll be in.”Customer service is lackadaisical and rude when you ask for answers. Was told to quit bothering them. They’ll call when they are here.So no glasses or contacts and am basically blind until they find my glasses.Oh and get in writing what they are charging you, because they totally lied to on prices as well.
