We love coming here! Its cute and out of the way. They always have tasty pastries, and the drinks are great. They used to only be open during the week, but recently changed hours to be open on the weekend as well. Would recommend as a quiet place for dates, business meetings, or hanging out with a good book.

The shop in Heritage Square is such a cute place to hang out. Small space, 5 tables and a bar. It feels very cozy and friendly, and I would love to hang out here to work on something. The pour overs were good as well as the beans. I also enjoy their cold brew!

As coffee bars go, Royal Coffee offers downtown Phoenix a premier coffee experience. Their baristas are educated, kind, patient, and informative. The space is friendly, inviting, clean, and organized. It’s everything you could want in a third wave coffee experience.

Top-notch roaster and coffee shop. My dry cappuccino had perfect micro foam and a complex fruity espresso. This shop is one of the best I’ve been to. Give it a try!

Quick service, good prices. Its doubtful you will drink your coffee inside though, so dont count on it. Place barely fits 8 people standing.

Sweet little coffee shop. Excellent spicy chai can be found here. Some small pastries from Phoenix Public Market on hand, but mainly well executed, no B.S. coffee. Super cool staff and the beans are roasted on site.

The best of the various Royal coffee bars. The coffee is great, the vibe inside is cool (small interior so dont plant to hang for hours). The outside area is connected to the science center and fall-spring is extremely comfortable outside. The only negative is parking, which is either the garage or metered street parking.

Probably the least busy of the Royal Coffee Ive been too. I LOVE the coffee here. Royal always gives high quality coffee no matter how you order it.

I just stopped by this place to grab a cup of coffee before I went into the science center. The door was unlocked, so I opened it. There was a large dog inside and so I stuck my leg out so the pup didnt run outside. The girl came over, super snotty, pushed my leg out of the door and said were closed and slammed the door. WOW.

Teeny tiny coffee joint, but they make room for a coffee roaster and they make the best of it. Their custom roast is definitely unique and really quite good.**Ive only been here once, so I cant give them a perfect score yet, but they are definitely on their way.

Great Spanish coffee. The size of the ice cups of coffee are very small for $4-$6. Love the flavor they have. I had the horchata ice coffee. It is very good. The coffee shop is right next to the deli and you can walk right into it in the same building.

This is a very small shop tucked away in heritage park in downtown. Parking is a bit of a chore and I wouldnt consider this a place to sit and take in the ambiance when its busy. With that being said I ordered a coffee and a blueberry muffin. I am not sure if the muffins are made in house or bought from another location, either was is irrelevant because it was very nice, quite tasty. The coffee was also great, nice and rich while not being too hot. The coffee also had its own unique flavor to it that I have not seen from many local shops. I would give this place 4 and a half stars if I was able but due to the top quality product I am boasting to a full 5. I do plan to return and try other items.

Cute little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The coffee was good, but the wait was terrible. They only had one person working so he had to double as a cashier and as a barista. It was a Saturday so it was super busy. They really should have more people working at that time of day. I have never been to a coffee shop that had only one person working. Its unfair to both the customer and the employee.
