I selected Grease Monkey based on the many high reviews. First time here. Highly recommend!! I was not disappointed! Michael greeted me immediately, and even educated me on my car with how to keep my ac and music on with the engine off while I waited (I have a push button/start). Very friendly staff. I came in for an oil change, air up my tires (my indicator light was on for tire pressure in one tire) and to have my car fully looked over due to my cross country move here from FL. Michael shared with me that they do this anyway as part of their service...no additional fee for it. I think my wait time for them to take my car into the bay and finalize payment was all of 20-25 minutes. Michael even showed me how to use the tap feature with my credit card - something else I had thus far never used. They even brought my interior-air filter in to show me how dirty it was... definitely needed a fresh one. (Thank you for that!). They also confirmed my wipers were good (along with some other items) and didnt need changing. I appreciated that because my husband had recently changed out my wipers, so that little thing alone increased my trust. As a female, I generally have reservations about taking my car in on my own because in my younger years I was taken advantage of once...very bad experience with a shop in CA. Because of that experience I have trust issues now with any type of mechanic. I was completely in good hands here and will be giving Grease Monkey my business moving forward. While on vacation we need an oil change. We found a Honda dealer that told us it was a two and a half hour wait and they were not very friendly. They recommended a different location and company to us. We drove down the road and found grease monkey and they were great! Friendly service. They told us we had had to wait at least a half an hour maybe 45 minutes and we only waited 10 minutes. They did a great job highly recommend. Good price too

The guys that work there are really understanding and kind. They got the job done without a second thought. I I went in for an oil change, and they cleaned my windshield, filled up my tires and did a great look about on the vehicle. Highly recommend, these guys are great

These guys said about 30 minutes and since they had finished another car before me earlier I was literally in and out within 10-18 minutes. That was fast service! They even check tire pressure also. Most places nowadays do not check tire pressure. These guys were efficient and reliable and fast.

There was only 2 techs working I showed up 1hr before closing and still got me in and out within half an hour. Which was completely fine with me.

Absolutely love this place. Any bad review is just a Karen. Dont listen. They are super professional and dont take advantage of you like every other place i have been. If you dont need it, they dont try ro convince you that you do. They are the best place to go in the valley.

At least the manager will work on the cars. Sign says Get in Get out Get going. Please take that down. Drain and fill takes maybe 10 min. Inspection 5 min. Clean windows, everyone doing it 1 min. The manager cleans the windows and the other two watch him. Lol. Pit guy said he is covered in oil? How? I told him to stop doing that! Lol. Just sad. As much as they charge for cheap oil (service pro) I should be simple in and out.

The food was amazing. The servers were all warring masks, and still managed to be sweet and full of sunshine. YES, they are following social distancing protocols! My best friend and I, enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you girls.

This was the fastest oil change I think I have ever received. I was in and out in what felt like 15 minutes. Staff had my information on file from another location, pulled me up, gave me what I normally get, and sent me on my way. No B.S.

I showed up 15 minutes after they opened there was only two employees at work and there’s three of us waiting in line they finished one vehicle another customer walked up walked in waited about 5 to 10 minutes and then walked out and left at that time a third employee showed up walked in told me I need to have a mask on I showed him my CDC vaccination card explaining to him that I was vaccinated and he interrupted me and said you need to put a mask on I asked him are you gonna take my money and he says yeah I’ll take your money outside so I went outside he took myDebit card when inside for about 10 minutes came back out charge me $117 for an oil change they taxed for labor didn’t vacuum anything all the extra supplemental things they’re supposed to check was checked off on the sheet as either not required or sealed before I was interrupted I was going to explain to the person that the city of Arizona city Council has stated that yes we must wear masks except for people with medical disabilities so I was not allowed to identify myself as a disabled veteran nor did I get to apply a five dollar coupon nor did I get the military discount which I know they don’t stack but at least I had three chances to get some kind of DiscountI will never return to grease monkey again

Went in this morning for an oil change and some other issues. My car was taken in right away, they gave me a breakdown of costs for the 2 belts and AC vent motor and an estimate of the time. While waiting I looked up the part costs online and was happy to see that they charged at cost and not over. All of the guys were extremely friendly, very quick. Theyre following the new city guidelines for masks and gave masks to those who did not have one. They definitely earned my future business and Ill be back to have them do more work.

Our oil light indicated 5%, so we rushed over to get an oil change and found Grease Monkeys bay open so we pulled in. They changed the oil/filter, washed windows, etc. and we were on our way within 15 mins.

Service was good, precise and on point. However with covid in season and having to wear a mask inside a location with no A/C can be pretty annoying. Other then that it was ok.

I’ve taken all my cars to grade monkey. They are the most honest shop in Phoenix. Our latest trip to was for breaks on our BMW 528i.Everything was fast and perfect!

Staff are pleasant and the service is quick. Obviously not quite as cheap as taking it into a non-rapid service mechanic, but the prices are reasonable.

I had my oil changed 3 weeks ago and went here due to the ratings. It was on the pricier end to what i usually pay. Fast forward today my car shut off and i got an alert low oil pressure. I was a quart low. And no i dont have a leak i had a mechanic check. Staff was friendly so 2 stars

A little experience for synthetic oil

They are wonderful. I will never go anywhere else if I can help it. They give me very detailed diagnostics and explain everything thoroughly, they also dont hassle me upselling everything possible.Sometimes they are running a bit behind schedule... I think sometimes they take extra walk-ins.

9/19/2020 - Friday afternoon oil change, $60-70, 2018 FORD F-150, the photo, square 1 shows the driveway on Tuesday 9/22/2020.9/24/2020 - Returned for service, was explained that the drain plug was not replaced the first time with a NEW drain plug as spec by FORD. The second square, two, shows my driveway this morning. 9/25/2020.9/25/2020 - I am writing this as my truck is on the way for the third time to this shop.I live in Avondale, I was on that side of Phx heading out to Cali and stopped here based off of 2-3 reviews I quickly read on yelp. Not my normal stop. As you can tell from this review I am only interested in reporting the facts.

I used to spend 2-3 hours at the dealership for an oil change, but I’ve been coming here the past two times, and I’m in and out. I had an appointment this morning at 9:30, was paid for and driving away at 9:56. They never try to upsell me or give me grief. Love it here!

Honestly this is the go to place. They take great care of you and are always quick and kind. You can really tell that they try and help save you money and doesn’t try and make you buy unnecessary thing especially if it’s not something that’s not needed. Definitely going to recommend!

Honest MechanicI have been getting oil changes at this Grease Monkey for awhile and recently needed service for a check engine light. Thomas, the mechanic, is honest and not interested in gouging his customers. I will absolutely use this location again for future mechanical issues.

Speedy and Amazing service. Highly recommend them, I went in for an AC repair for my car, which they found in a few minutes and were able to repair it quick. Afterwards, they were able to recharge my AC system.

They were AMAZING! I spoke with Warren a week beforehand and he gave me a (very reasonable) quote and told me how things would go. I came in with my babies, he met me the minute I stepped out of the car, told me what would happen, and was patient while I got them out of the car. The timeline he gave me was spot on, everything was perfect, and they cleaned my windows! I will TOTALLY be back!!!

They were fast, professional, and polite. They did not try to overcharge me or sell me things that I didn’t need. I don’t live on this side of town and was only here for Sam’s Club, but will definitely be back when it’s time for my next oil change.

I always go here to get my oil change or anything else done that they offer and my car needs. Oil changes are quick and speedy and they always give it to me straight on what my car does and doesnt need. Ive interacted with a lot of their guys and theyre all super nice and super sweet. I would highly recommend that you bring your vehicle here.

My wife and I have been going here for a couple of years. Everyone here is extremely nice and seem very honest. When they believe you need additional service beyond what you requested, they simply advise you of it and hand you a written quote. They never pressure you into making a decision. They always finish the service much sooner than the time they quote; and theyll often do small gestures like wash your windows or give your car a quick vacuum when all you really are paying them for is an oil change.

UpdateAfter 5 visits my check engine light is STILL on. Do not waste time or money here.If you are seeking an affordable oil change this is place to go. If you need mechanic service, and appreciate your personal time and money then this is NOT the place for you. Spent an entire month going back and forth week after week for issues with my car. So much money on fixing side effect problems, rather than fixing the main issue and saving me time/money. However, if you try to explain that to them they will swear up and down they’re not connected whatsoever and promise you they’ve done a thorough inspection. Yet, have you leave with your check engine light on and swear “the car just needs to get adjusted to the piece.” The service is mediocre and unprofessional. Wow.. There costumer service is excellent. I was driving in and they made it to where you are stepping out your car, they are there waiting for you to take down your service. Very fast and extra clean. They have there stuff together. My first oil change with them and you can automatically feel the difference. The staff very knowledgeable and very understanding. Ive been coming here for my oil changes for about two years now they are fast they do the job right and Ive never had an issue but just recently I came for a mechanical issue they were still as friendly as ever however my issue ended up being something the dealer needed to take care of so they couldnt help but that didnt stop them from going above and beyond what was required of them they topped off my oil and tried to help solve another issue I had as well as waved the fee to look at it they always drain my oil catch can when I ask with no extra charge Im always happy after I leave here and will never go to another place if I can help it the quality of service I get here has made me a customer for life and I always recommend them to people I meet if I could give more stars I would

Ive gone to Grease Monkeys a few times to get my car serviced for an oil change. Super professional and holy cow are they quick. Never had a problem, friendly customer service.

I stopped here while on a summer road trip to Arizona and the staff was great. They gave us some bottled water for free (thank goodness... it was 118F outside) and got the work done quickly. They were even kind enough to let my daughter look underneath the floor to see how they do their work. It made her day!

This is one of the few places I trust to take my car to. Everytime I have ever had a problem, I have always been able to count on the service and the gentlemen that work here. They never try and oversell me anything I don’t need, anything I do need is affordable and reasonably priced, and it’s always fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - especially Thomas who has went above and beyond to help fix my car. He is literally the best mechanic I’ve ever had work on my car as he is extremely knowledgeable and always determined to find the exact problem to any issue to make sure my car is safe and free of any issues. I’ve been coming to this place since I lived nearby them around 2015 or so.Unlike other places, these guys tell you exactly what will be done and they do that same thing.Never had to come back to them to redo something because it was not done right.You guys rock. Had to get an oil change and knew I needed my coolant flushed. Their price was way lower then what I was quoted at another place. They gave me a list of recommendations but were not pushy about it. I will be taking my car here from now on for any repairs needed or questions I may have. I highly recommend this company, they are honest and trustworthy. These guys are great anytime I need anything done like headlights replaced I had to headlights that I always keep with me at all times in my car which Xenon lightbulbs they put them in for me at no charge whatsoever at the same time I noticed when theyre working on the car the front two tires were owing back and forth by about 5 or 6 in in the mechanic said yeah I need to talk to you about that and the front control arms were broken had they not noticed that my family could have been killed driving on the highway had they snapped so because Im able to get parts on my own for a great price that are made better than the manufacturer I am having them install it on my car this coming Tuesday by the way they also just do my brakes and rotors that I had purchased myself and they put them on for a very fair price and very quickly sincerely Timothy Crowley for keeping my family safe
