I needed to leave my 19 year old Goffins Cockatoo for 12 days in Boarding. I had never put her in Boarding before now. Always had someone come to my house and stay with her. I was so nervous about leaving her. This turned out to be the best experience for her and for me. This is my new store.

I absolutely love this place they are always super helpful and their knowledge of the birds is amazing. You will not find any healthier birds either.

I went to buy a parakeet for my daughter and the staff (I think the owner) was very helpful and provided a lot of best practice info for caring for your new bird. They had everything you can think of for pet/exotic birds. They had a good variety of healthy looking birds to chose from. I also ended up replacing the bird cage I had because the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come here the next time I purchase a bird.

I decided to try this shop to hopefully get a more intimate experience with the avians I love. I have never looked back. The owners and employees are a family, it doesnt hurt that IRS just a few store front from my favorite Asian food joint.Great people, boarding options, plenty of animals up for sale; mostly smaller birds.Our Canary is the sweetest thing and so vocal. We adopted him from them. We have several birds but his temperament shows that whom we adopted from cares for the animals they care for.

5 stars! A wonderful family owned and operated business. These guys are as knowledgeable about birds as I’ve ever seen along with being kind and courteous. If you own a bird, then you know how hard it is to solve issues or answer concerns. I buy my African Grey’s food here and I always have questions. They have consistently helped me and given me quite a bit of their time. I’ve also boarded my bird here which gives any caring pet owner anxiety. When I pick her up she’s as happy and healthy as when I left. Thanks Birdz and Beyond! I live in Los Angeles and happened to visit this store with a friend. I’m an experienced bird owner so this isn’t my first rodeo. I love caiques. They had 2 black headed caiques in the store when I went in last Saturday. They were so tame and so sweet! I couldn’t fly them back with me because Delta has an issue with birds I guess. So I went home sans caiques. I couldn’t stop thinking about how sweet it was so I drove back to Arizona (6 hours there and 6 hours home) to get the caique. I bought both! Zachery is a wealth of information. He is so caring about the birds and I can tell he did a great job in raising these babies because they were sooooo friendly. They are a picture of health and the store has a very family vibe and very helpful. In Los Angeles people are a little bit more rude In my experience so in my opinion this is a great place to get educated on birds and to get ur forever companion. It’s refreshing to find a good responsible bird store who isn’t just trying to peddle any bird for a dime. They also did great on the drive home. I will be back!! Trust me not all stores care about the birds the way Zachery does. He even helped me get blood samples so I can DNA test them. A++ for this place.

Great family owned helpful people. I used to take my Blue Gold Macaw until she started chasing my son around the house. Now we have a Great Mustache Parakeet. Had his nails trimmed and bought some toys for his trouble. Again great staff!!!

Got my first conure there, they made sure I knew everything and are really sweet 10/10 would recommend if your interested in purchasing your first bird. Much better priced compared to large pet trade chains. They handle the birds to make sure they have human interaction and are familiar with being held and such. You can get massive amounts of millet ( a really good treat for birds) for like a few dollars and it’s fresh and again in a massive bundle. That being said obviously don’t impulse buy a bird but yea again amazing store

Ive bought birds, food, and, other products from for a few years now. Its always a pleasure doing business with them, they make it personal. They always remember me, even from the beginning, and I always learn something new. They actually love birds like birds should be loved. Although Ive never needed to use it, they also have what Ive heard and seen as very good bird grooming. They are professionals for sure. Make sure you use these guys, they sure know what theyre doing and deserve the business. Dont go to Petco or PetSmart where the food is stale and youre just a number.

Dont buy birds from this store!! I was sold 3 years old Quaker, charged a huge amount. Quaker bird had been abused, neglected, and destructive. First day, we got him late evening. It was running all over apartment, destroying. It chewed our couch. My son tried to calm it down, it started chewed my sons shirt. It chewed my shirt as well. The owner name Zachary who sold me this vicious bird for such a higher price. Normally at other pet store Quaker babies are for sale for $399.00. Zachary sold me this vicious bird for $435. At Tropical Exotic Bird store on Greenway had babies for $399 last year. This adult bird price is $300 everywhere. Bad thing Pratts Pets, nor Tropical Exotic Birds had any as I always shop there.When I tried to talk to Zachary he refused to take it back. He sold his problem to us. Zachary told me that I can sell him online myself. Pratts Pet Store have 3 locations, sells cheaper and tamed birds. I see all of you people who rated 5 star bought babies from him. Babies can be trained easily as they go their first home. November is a bad month to find any bird. I was looking for a bird companion for my Pineapple Green Cheek Conure. I also had a very beautiful, so innocent 5 months Indian Ringneck Parrot who died due to some kidney problem. My Conure felt alone, so everywhere we went we were taking Conure with us. So many places, its hard to take the pet. Thats why we were looking for another bird. We got trapped by Zacharys problem.

If any of you had issues you should have gone back and talked to them as all kinds of issues can happen when getting a new bird and they Will help! Instead of complaining let them know and they will be right on the issue to help! They LOVE THEIR BIRDS AND CUSTOMERS!

My parrot Domino loves this store. We take him regularly for wing clips, toenail and beak trims and sometimes a bath. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. My parrot is never frightened and lets them do things he would never let us do at home. We have left him overnight with no worries and he came home happy and maybe a bit spoiled. I highly recommend this store and their services.

Just found this store a month ago. Wish I had know sooner, Im new to finch/canary keeping. Zachary and family have been helpful and knowledgeable. I have hopes with Zacharys help to increase my flock. Store if very clean and birds are healthy and affordable.

Went in the other day to buy my first bird, and walked out with this beautiful well tamed English budgie. His colors are bright blue and he has an awesome little personality. I called and interviewed quite a few bird stores before landing on this one. They already had the bird on a brand of food I wanted to use that is highly recommended on a few articles Ive read so I didnt have to worry about changing my birds diet. Great environment and clean.

I come here all the time to get my conures wings and nails clipped. They are the cheapest I have found and they are always so nice. I come in and they finish very quickly, plus they have so many nice toys and treats. I love it there!

Had my cockatiels wings clipped and nails done, also bought some bird food, prime supplement, bird toys and millets. The guy who attended to me was very helpful. I will continue to shop here and plan on getting a rose breasted cockatoo in the future. Had a bad experience at Pratt’s was sold a female cockatiel when told it was a male so il be sticking to this trustworthy shop.

Our favorite place to go for our parakeet supplies and advice. As a family run business, you can tell they truly care about their customers and all the birds. They utilize local breeders for their bird stock so you never know what new babies they might have. Cant say enough good things about them.

Took my Goffins Cockatoo in to get his wings, beak and nails clipped. The employees were professional, caring and gentle. My bird doesnt take well to others but he stepped up to all three employees so he clearly was comfortable with them so Ill definitely be back.

I used to shop at an amazing bird store in San Francisco, and while that store was much larger than this one, Birdz and Beyond has everything that I need, and if they dont have it they will do their best to get it for me! Quite simply, the store is a great place to hang out, get good information, and marvel at the beautiful birds on offer... There is another bird store closer to me, larger, also with a fine selection; that said, that store has a missing ingredient: Zach and Derick!

I am extremely unhappy about the bird, cage and accessories that I purchased 3 weeks ago. My bird (budgie) did not appear to be a happy healthy bird after it came home. It stopped eating and drinking. It developed a large stool ball and upon noticing this, I immediately put him in a bath of warm water. I finally got the ball to release. He was not himself and just wanted to be left alone. This broke my heart. I have had birds all my life and have NEVER had this issue with a bird and I have had many spieces. Upon awakening this morning, my husband gave me the bad news; he had passed. I just came from the above mentioned pet store to get a refund or another bird. Basically I was told that the bird got sick, possibly from the recent weather change etc.etc. No apologies given or a reduced price on a new bird or refund. I was told 3 weeks was too long to be able to extend any courteously to me on another bird. I spent almost $200.00 just 21 days ago. I am saddened that they could have cared less about this situation. In the long run, this will cost you far more than trying to make amends with your customer. Just saying; your not the only bird store in town.

I bought all my birds from them. I have 2 parakeets, a quaker parrot and a Macaw. I just got the Macaw and I am so very happy with him. He is a great bird. The owner was so helpful to me and very kind. I love this store and the people that run it. Also the birds are reasonable. I am very ecstatic. There is no other bird store that has nice birds and people.
