8/27/21 This is my very first review I think. I rely on them for a good recommendation so I figure I should participate. These guys have my truck now. I plan to update this as things progress. So far so good. The price is right. They have been helpful and accommodating. They quoted me a week for my 1999 Dodge 2500 rebuild but, I never believed that. Ive seen the reviews about them taking too long and had sympathy because Ive rebuilt an engine before. Its hard work and no joke. Im patient and have other cars to drive. Id rather have it done right than fast. So far my only critique and why I remove a star, is Its been a little more than a week and it would be nice for them to keep the customer updated. I dont know where I stand or if theyve started. Im patient but, I still would like to know whats my place in line. I own a bore scope so Ill update with comments about craftsmanship when I get my truck back. Ill know if the same pistons are in there lol.8/27/21 Spoke too soon. Ive heard back from them and was updated on my status. Nothing to crazy. Just issues in the world of rebuilding engines. Might be completed next week. I was having engine issue for about a month. I live close to the area where the shop is located so I stopped by to see of they can help me. Antonio did a great job informing me what exactly was going on with my engine and explain what they where going to do and how much. My car runs perfectly now all thanks to them. Took my Honda Accord for an engine replacement. Took a little longer due to them being short staffed witch is understandable with this pandemic we are facing. After 500 miles and their check up Im more than satisfied with the engine work they provided.

Great overall experience and wonderful customer service! We brought our Suburban here after multiple failed fixes by other places. They have her running again! They even came and picked up the Suburban from our house when there was a separate issue (nothing to do with their work) and took care of it immediately. Honest people and prices.

After months of taking my 2010 chevy silverado to several mechanics turn out I needed a new engine and decided to take a chance and take it to international engines and I do not regret it at all. I took it in today for the 500 mile check and it looks like everything is going good. They finished it in less then a week. Both my father and father in law are happy with the work they did. It was also a very good price. Ill be back to update within a couple of months. Definitely do recommend!

First off they were very professional with my 2002 jeep grand cherokee! Tony was great to work with! I have waited a couple of months to write my review to make sure everything was good! They give you a base price to have the motor replace. Then the mechanic will give you his recommendations! They are not trying to get anything over on anyone! Ive read the post they quoted me one thing and are charging me another! Really people? Do you think one price fits all? It doesnt matter where you take your car when it comes to motor replacements the price they start off with is always the base price they have no clue as to what your car will actually need until they get it in the air! Mine had a broken head and they told me up front what the core charge was and stuck with it! They did not try and pull anything on me and In the future I have 5 work vans that will be heading their way! Great shop and great service! Thanks

I own a 1998 Honda Civic and for me being a woman, thats all I know about it. I rarely did any oil changes or made sure anything was ok because I was never taught what to do with a vehicle ( I mean, common sense right?). My transmission gave out first so I was looking for places to fix it. A good friend of mine recommended me Tonys shop, International Engines. He replaced it with a new one and it was good as new. Then a year later, my engine was next to give out! Satisfied with the job Tony did on my transmission I took my car confident knowing that he will do a great job fixing my engine. I was satisfied with all the work he did on my car and the 3 year warranty that came with the service (cant get any better than that! Especially for me). I HIGHLY recommend this place, Tony helps you out with any problem with your vehicle, has fast service, and makes sure that you are satisfied with the work.

I brought my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee to them because it was over heating. After taking it to the dealership I was very skeptical about bringing it anywhere else. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!This is the most horrible place I have ever been to. I took my car to get the engine replaced and my car came out leaking more oil than when I first took it to them. I called them and told them what had happened and they told me to take it back. A week later they called me and said the car needed other things and that the cost would be another $400 beside the $1220 I had already paid. Not only that, my car door had a big dent to it. My car has a “3 year warranty” with them and I would rather lose that then take my car to them again. This place is irresponsible and has poor customer service. I would not recommend it to anyone. I would give it 0 stars.

My dad went in to check in on our truck and the person at the front started saying things to him, like your poor, go buy a new truck, blame someone else, etc. due to them not being able to fix the truck. They said the owner will talk to us but still haven’t received a call. I don’t usually do stuff like this, but this is very rude and uncalled for.

Ive been waiting for Tony to call me about my car I was told 1 week and week 2 just ended still no call about my car and after reading some of these reviews Im questioning whether or not I got my car in the right shop the price was great had a few other quotes some few $$$ more others twice as much so Tony when you going to call and tell me whats up with my carI made this post 3 weeks agoNow I am at a lost for words my car still not ready I did get one call to tell me they are working on my car should be done by end of day its still not done that call was last week barged about the guys staying extra hrs to get it done well I came home early I called Thursday and Friday around 4pm to let them know that I was back and was coming for my car that I was told was ready now I did say Id be back Mon cause I wast do back from my work trip but it didnt last I returned thinking my car was done and was told I had problems with the injectors they had to still fix them then why tell me my car was ready days ago ok now its Monday almost 12pm no call

DO NOT GET A REBUILD HERE!!!! Quoted me 5 days and $1250. Took them 11 days charged me $1564 and claimed they only charged me $1511. They forgot to put the rear main seal in and the intake manifold gasket. Car was leaking oil. They werent even going to replace the timing belt til I complained about the time taken.Did the 500 mile rebuild they recommended and they left a oily rag on my transmission which caused it to not start til I removed the rag.Made an appointment with them to fix the rear main seal and they quoted me 2 days, took them 3 days and they forgot to hook up my speed sensor forcing me to go back again!They argued with me saying it was ridiculous that one of their mechanics had to stay after hours to get my car finished. DO NOT GET A REBUILD HERE!!!!

Got my motor rebuilt, guys were very professional and did a great job 10/10 would recommend.

Update: 😲- oil pan is leaking and gasket- transmission when out after engine rebuild- they rebuildt transmission- now has bad exhaust smell- oil print left on paint- poor customer service from front desk, work with Tony he will help you- last service took of three weeks and nothing was repaired- had it take it back three times so far- warranty exp if you dont take it back at 500 milesFirst post>>>So far so good. I had my Honda 2005 Civic rebuilt here and the car is at the shop now for the 500 mile warranty check in. Ive absolutely had no issues with the rebuild at all. It runs solid, smooth, and strong. Tony helped me out with some other parts that needed to be replaced and overall I feel like I got the best deal in town. Tony is a solid guy that runs the front like a champ. My only feedback in the process is the mechanics left a lot of oil and handprints on hood, doors, and inside on the emergency brake handle. This isnt unique to international engines its a grease monkey issue altogether that Ive experienced elsewhere, haha. if I should have any issues Ill be sure to update my post in the future. Nice job so far guys thank you for your help!

I had my 2011 Silverado rebuilt and its running great thx to tony and his guys!!

It has now been 16 weeks that they have had my vehicle in the shop. Every week there is an excuse to why it hasnt been ready. The first time my vehicle went into this shop in June it took about 4 weeks to be ready, only lasted me a month until I had to return it due to not being fixed properly. This is ridiculous and hope no one ever has to go through this.

Horrible horrible horrible.. I was told my car would take no longer than 5 days and it’s now 3 almost 4 weeks out.... How the hell am I supposed to get to work 🤬!!! Every week I call they say “ for sure “ Monday “ for sure “ Wednesday for sure Friday “ there not for sure about anything over there

I have a Honda civic 2003, a few days ago I took my car so they can check my transmission, turns out It was just the scenser and they only charged me 175.00, other places have told me it didnt worked and wanted to charged me 1,000 -1,800 and sell me another one, when in reality it was fixable. They fix it really quickly and i walked out satisfied, I strongly recommend this place

If I could give negative stars I WOULD!!!I have never been so dissatisfied with a mechanic. The lies are enough to be upset about but my issue goes much futher. My fiancee was referred to this company for work on his older Honda Civic SI hatchback. The incompetence to do the work is very evident. He has had to take his car back for work no less than 5 different times and every time they have the car, it is NEVER returned when guranteed. Not that the workers care. We have been told numerous excuses and yet that is all they are!!!!! FED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys know what theyre doing. Went in with a problem with my civic and they had a diagnostic in 15 minutes. Left my car there and they had it ready by the end of the day, I would highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone who owns Hondas or any foreign vehicle!

Just wanted to let everyone know I highly recommend inernational engines I recently got a remanufactured engine put in my car because my engine was blown .even though they needed alittle more time with my car it was well worth it..my car runs smooth like new have no issues when they make recommendations its for a reason there very honest and trust worthy..listen to their recommendations there not trying to take you a run for your money its just to make your car work better and their prices are very reasonable compared to other shops..great work for great prices

WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONEvery bad service these guys like to lie I took my car 06 scion tc there to be worked on told them exactly what I wanted done they told me that it was a two week turn around so I was happy with that. only to find out that two weeks turned into three months. every time I would call in to check on the status they would give me an excuse and would say it would be done next week then I would stop by to see the car and at month two it was in the same place I had left it when I had dropped it off- be warned this place has terrible service- work was not done correctly- all kinds of bolts were left out or just not tightened, motor mount bolts were missing causing engine to shake more than normal and bolts on valve cover were over tightened causing a crack and oil to leak all over engine bay very dangerousWOULD NEVER RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE

Scam artist claim they install new engine cores and use the same engine you drove in there with, lie about work done verbally and put something else on paper, pending legal action and attorney general action. Yea I said I wanted to sell the car I took you with a bad engine to install new cores !!! You used the same ones compressed them with sealant to hide oil leaks and other mechanics said what your doing is a scam ! No further argument is needed save your argument.

I took my 2000 toyota celica here for misfires and 1 week in they tell me my tire was flat and they never even bought it into the shop, so another week goes by and i get my car back and 30 mins on the road i find that NOTHING HAD CHANGED ! all these guys did was steal my money, a good mechanic checks the car befor and afterwards now they want me to come back in and most likly pay again for a problem that should have already been fixed ! I bassacly paid 300 bucks to store my car, im taking my chances else where and so should you!

I would put a zero if I could. Bad customer service, ignore my calls, they kept my car for months and did nothing to it. I already filed a report. they will be hearing from my lawyer.

One of the biggest reasons why we decided to go through international engines was that they offer a warranty on the engines. It did take longer than expected to have my car fixed but If i ever need any repairs on my cars I would go back to them.

Its honestly probably one of the worst places Ive taken my car to try to get fixed for not such a low price either, they say that its done and ready to go but then has more issues a couple weeks later and have to constantly be going back and forth with them which is very annoying.

I can recommend this place for the good service they give and their prices are very cheap and the staff they have are very friendly and explain very well in detail.

Excuse after excuse is this place, after paying for the rebuilt of my engine, as it is possible that after 3 days I am liquidating engine and transmission oil, the engine ballonet does not come in now, the day I went to pick it up after 3 For weeks, the person across the street told me that they were busy buying him a new battery, because my van did not have one, being that when he was picked up by the crane they sent, the driver turned it on and loaded it, the excuse now is that they have no people to work, They are still going to it for the warranty, now having to pay Uber to go to work, when you pay $ 1820 for an engineMy worst experience with mechanics
