I have 2 disappointing reviews about this parcel plus at Andorra. First, I have always used the UPS store at Ridge Ave/Lyceum Ave. but decided to give this store a try as they are literally 2 mins away from my home and I had Christmas packages to be sent off. I was told by the younger looking of the two gentlemen (that I have seen there) that one of my packages - which I asked for the cheapest and no rush delivery - would cost $24.06 for UPS ground. This was Friday December 18, 2020 at 3:12 pm. He said there was no guarantee so I could choose the $66 cost for a guaranteed delivery of Monday 21st. I said I’ll take my chances and paid the $24.06. The 2nd package I decided to pay extra (I don’t know why) - maybe because of the added pressure from the worker “there’s no guarantee, it’s Christmas, packages are being delivered slow, etc.” So I paid $62.11 from the cheapest & no rush of $44+. These packages were only going to New York. Well everyone guess what? The first package with no guarantee (according to the worker) got there the next day Saturday December 19, 2020. I could not believe it; and the 2nd package got there Monday December 21, 2020. Are these people picketing the extra money or something? This is ridiculous. Stay tuned for my story about my other review.

Came in last week and was disappointed to find that the older lady was working. Anytime Ive come in and shes working, she moves so slowly. This time it was particularly bad. There had to be at least 5 people waiting in line, and she kept her back turned the entire time while watching some papers being faxed. Couldnt she have waited on a few people in the time it took to send that fax? Its called multitasking! The younger lady is always so much better. Thank God she came out and actually finished off the entire line of all of us waiting in the same time it took the old lady to send the fax. I love this place and have been coming for years. However, the older lady is just such a disappointment. Hopefully if you come, youll see the young girl. She has such a great personality. Giving five stars because of her.

Just moved to the area from North Jersey and am already loving it, especially since I found this place. They have Private Mailboxes which also accept packages. The manager (Michelle, I think) was extremely helpful and took the time to completely answer all of my questions. The other young lady who was working was also very kind and helpful, and the two seemed to work very well together. I was also very happy to find that I could have copies made, faxes sent, documents notarized, fingerprinting, and every kind of shipping method. This place seems to do it all, and very well I must add! Will definitely be back. Thank you for making a newcomer feel welcome!

Used them several times, but then, they lost a package. It had a prepay sticker, which I had given them frequently before to ship with no problems, but they lost this one. Prepays just get dropped on the counter inside. Did it get stolen off the counter? Who knows but they dont care. I had no way to even prove I took it to them to ship. Beware! Get a receipt. Dont rely on them sending your package without one.

Normally, this place is five stars. I hope to be able to update my review in the future. But... my last experience in there was jarring. I had been there this past Monday to have a Power of Attorney notarized and sent to Florida, because according to their state law, when my father passed away last month, I became a co-owner of his home there and the other co-owners want it on the market as soon as possible. I told them that my family was pressing me and I had to have it there in a couple days... Then on Friday, I get a text from my ex-stepmother saying that while it was notarized, it wasn’t witnessed. I paid for the service, so being curious as to why that page was neglected, I asked if they have witnesses there or if I’m supposed to bring someone. I’m talking to the same woman that notarized it Monday, but I don’t even mention the negligence on notarizing a document without all the necessary signatures, because I still needed to figure out how to get the ex-step off my back. I didn’t notice myself because I handed her the form, she told me which page to sign and where, and I did. I was told that I’m supposed to have it witnessed at home & bring it in and she would notarize my signature there. That makes no sense. And I don’t think I’d have to have been a notary before to know that. I just pretended I wasn’t, it has been years, and asked if she could explain how that worked. She simply stayed firm that I was to have the document witnessed at home, that the witnesses are of no relevance to her.Now this is why it’s so concerning... The whole point of getting a document notarized is to verify the identity of all signers of the document and to witness then sign it. The notary does have to watch the witness sign, because they have to watch me sign. I don’t know if she was telling me to have them sign as witnesses before there was anything to be witnessed, because she has to see me sign it. The logic behind it makes no sense. What I was expecting, was that the other employee would serve as a witness. They don’t have to know me, and they don’t have to show ID because, as coworkers, the notary knows them personally. That is how I did it in the CPA office I worked for. There was at least one other person working there at the time. But because the other customers were watching this, I couldn’t ask them to witness without making her look bad. So I just tell her I’ll bring in witnesses, intending to just find strangers on the street like my sister did found one when the UPS she went to only had one other employee working at the time. She comes back at me telling me that I could if I want, or I could just let them sign it at home and not “waste their time”. To someone she knows is dealing with difficult family situation in the wake of their father’s death. That was fun to explain to the ex-step... it did require a call, since she’s also been a notary and would have called me asking what the hell I was talking about...I haven’t decided if I’m going to let this one experience ruin the years of enjoying their services. The same lady has been very nice to me before, and maybe she was just having a bad day. But... wow. I’m stunned.

Was running super late but really needed to mail some papers. Thank heavens for the young lady (in the beatles shirt) behind the counter who was so helpful and didnt rush me at all. She was so patient and courteous, and most helpful! She even took the time to explain all the options I have for shipping, despite the fact that it was closing time. Definitely an asset to your business! Highly recommend this place.

Discovered this place a few weeks back when I had to get my fingerprints done. Never been here before but I will certainly be back, and I have been back! The fingerprint agent, Michelle, was very pleasant and courteous. I was happy to find that when I came back to ship a package, Michelle was working the counter and was again very helpful and kind! The only downside, however, was the old woman who worked there who was quite the opposite of Michelle; she seemed to have no desire to want to be there and it was evident in her interaction with customers. But, nevertheless, I will be back. Such a hidden gem in the Andorra shopping center. Thank you so much, Michelle :D

Update: Had to get fingerprinted for my teaching clearances to be renewed. I had issues trying to call and confirm that they were open for fingerprinting due to Covid. Called multiple times over 2 days and was never able to get someone on the phone. Finally drove over and luckily they were in and able to do the fingerprints. The actual process was very easy and the woman was extremely sweet in her assistance.Old review: Very friendly staff but they do charge a slight premium for some types of shipping.

Why is the woman with the gray hair (who has been working there forever) (I think her name is Betty or something like that) still working in this place. I really think she needs to retire. She has NO clue what she is doing for as long as she has been there... Thank goodness the other younger shorter lady, who has a good head on her shoulders and has a great personality and sense of humor, and knows how to treat the customers and get the job done. She is the only reason myself and my friends still go there. Betty or whatever her name is, needs to RETIRE!! Please take this information to heart!!!

Came here to get my finger prints done. Lady who did them was really nice and funny too. Thank god I made an appointment. Some people complained that they should be allowed to just walk in cuz the website said so, but there were so many people with appointments. The Lady in the Beatle shirt was very nice about explaining to those negative people. Definitely come here for finger prints, but make sure you have an appointment. And hopefully youll get to meet the two funny ladies (especially the beatles lady)

I showed up to my noon appointment 10mins early and there was a short line. The customer in front of me had an appointment 10mins after mine and was clearly early. We both checked in and waited to be called. I was expecting to be called first since I was on time and had an appointment time before her but that didn’t happened and when asked they really didn’t have an explanation.

Have used this place before and was absolutely shocked when I brought in a flat envelope to mail first class. The guy (the owner) threw it on the scale and told me $3.00. Then I asked him how many ounces, and he said 3. I asked why so much and he said because of the large envelope. Went home and looked up the REAL price on USPS and it was $1.30!!!! Went back and demanded my money back because they ripped me off. Cant believe someone would do that and sleep at night....

Told me they were charging $2 extra than the post office for my package, but then I found out on my own that they charged me $28 extra. Their excuse was that they changed the method of shipping without informing me. Nice excuse!
