I like this hair store because they have hair and products you cant find anymore. They are pretty pricey. Also a good store cleaning would be great.

I just got home and looked at the receipt the cashier was so quick to put in my bag, (my intuition is on point, I thought that was suspicious...but I did not bother to look at it in the store). When she rang me up, my thought was that their products were so expensive. When I got home, I realized they stole from me, charging me for 3 items instead of 2. I bought sunglasses and eyebrow pencil and $11.98 - stolen. DO NOT GO THERE and I will definitely not return to this store. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Prices have doubled on hair care products. Almost any hair supply store has less expensive products.

This store is over priced. I felt like the store was unsafe because the employee locked the main entrance door behind me which created a very uncomfortable shopping experience for me. There were 2 wigs out on display that i was interested in but the employee said this isnt in stock nor for sale. I then attempted to get hair for braiding and looking for specific colors which also were unavailable. The store associates were no help in what could have been suggested in place of products i was interested in. Needless to say I will never return to shop here!

Very expensive because I live in the hood and there is a college campus why do we have to pay more. There was a lady working around saying what I was thinking. I over heard her talking about somewhere else that had better prices. So, I went there and the prices are way better. It was at Ridge and 22nd street. Like she said a hole in the wall, but better prices.

This used to be an ok store, besides being overpriced... but now their staff is not helpful and knows very little about the actual inventory. Im not sure why the owners hire young people who arent well versed in hair care or extensions, but save yourself some time and go to a better establishment with staff who actually have knowledge on these things. I will never patronize them again. Unfortunate

Ive been here a couple of times before. There is a large selection of products, including clothing, accessories, braiding hair and wigs. You can find almost anything you might need. My only issue is how overpriced everything is. I dont know if thats related to the location, with the shop being in the midst of Temple Universitys campus, but if youre running low on funds, skip this place.

DONT BUY NO CLOSURES FROM HERE I ASKED FOR A FRONTAL 316 4 by 4 ear to ear and they gave me a lace with a little piece of hair on it and when I tried to bring it back because I opened it to see what they gave me they said they can’t give me my money back or exchange it be aware they scamming people. CHECK YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOU LEAVE I MADE THAT MISTAKE BY THINKING THEY WERE GIVING ME WHAT I ASKED FOR

The store is pretty well organized and well stocked and the hair prices are good. Pretty comparable to what online stores would charge. They take cards and are still accepting cash, which is helpful. It seemed like they had more hair than haircare items and I did think their haircare items were a bit pricier than what I expected.Because of corona, they are only allowing about 5 people in the store at once. You ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in. The store attendants seemed nice, I knew what I was looking for and didnt need help but if I had questions, I felt comfortable to ask. They also kept to themselves and left me alone to shop in peace, which I appreciated lol.Because of corona, you have to wear gloves and a mask inside, if you dont have either, you will have to buy for 50 cents and $2, respectively. I would rather they just make everyone sanitize their hands before coming in, because gloves are bad for the environment and hand sanitizer would accomplish the same thing. But that was the only small inconvenience and it is for safety so what can you do.Overall I would recommend this store and plan to come back.

They had pretty good service here soon as I walked in; I had to make a phone call to find out exactly what to get but they had a huge selection of hair and plenty people on the floor.

Overpriced stuff then theyre charging you 50 cent to buy gloves to wear in the store if you have your own gloves you good but if you dont they wont let you in which I think is ridiculous they had hand sanitizer sitting there if its a problem why not squirt some in people hands why make people buy gloves? Thats just another way for them to make money.

The drinks was awful.the food was trash.

They have everything you need and want to slay your hair and be the best you you wanna be, from scarfs to makeup to hair they have it all and the best part is they have all the high end quality stuff. Customer service is ok, depending on who is there, The workers are very quick to say your stealing even when you are so be very careful if you are, hey who am I to judge. But all in all its a great place to go to get what you need. Theyre convenient with their hours, meaning open everyday and late if your in a hurry and they have top name brands that includes make up and hair products amd there right off of Broad Street and Cecil B Moore.

Slightly over priced due to location near college campus and made very convenient but will usually have everything you need. Would rather them less stars if I could. The customer service isnt there and they are completely overpriced. I have been to plenty of different hair stores, so I would know. Plus They told me something was a lesser price them it rang up after leaving and coming back to show them the mistake they said I cant have my money back. Should have checked the reviews. Any other site is better than here.

Really would not shop here. The store is way overpriced because of its location on Temples campus then they tax you adding on to the price of items. Naturally when you own a store you want to make sure that no one steals but the store is highly racist against black women while selling products specifically for black women. There are signs everywhere reminding you that cameras are watching you and the staff keeps too close an eye on you. They are not all that helpful either. I’d definitely stay away especially when you insinuate black women are stealing or going to steal yet you want their money. C&P on broad and Susquehanna is a much better friendlier place that has discounted products, I’d 100% recommend them then this store.

It is a really big store, they didnt have all the hair that I needed but they got some hair that came very close to what I got, which was great 👍👍👍

The service was absolutely poor. They stopped me at the door (not even to greet me) and asked to check my bag. The cashier has no customer service training is neither friendly nor approachable. The products are overpriced and the selection is poor. At check out, I was ignored by the cashier who also had a nasty attitude while checking out my items.Word of warning: Do not shop here.

Like them because they sell the Brazilian wool yarn hair which i love to use the only thing is they ran out of the colors i like but won’t order any. But not sure why because they will get some more customers just for it. Please order more and i will give you guys five stars.

It was hard to shop because of limited access to hair products. You had to tell the people inside, while you were outside what you wanted.

The workers are ghetto, unruly and unprofessional. They over charged me on an item& couldnt even get my money back.. .. They only offered store credit. The sales lady wig was on her forehead.. ..the edge control selection wasnt updated. . .just a mess.The only thing good is the closing time. Next time, I will stay in my neighborhood (Cheltenham) &&go to Hair Buzz/Hair Town.

African American women are Americas top consumers and have been the highest college graduates in the last five years. Nothing travels like word of mouth, social media, and standing up for your rights as a human being. Following customers around the store, making revenue, and not giving back (charities) to the community is a slap in the face to our people who are native to city for at least 5 generations. My suggestion is step up or step out, Bc if we choose to make a statement black girls can always rock. Be respectful Bc we dont have to patronize you, come down on the prices to stay competitive and at least have a system where you dont have to be in fear of being stolen from, just like you, doesnt want to be stolen from. I bought a $90 pair of overpriced T-outliners from this store, the item underperformed and developed a short after two months of use. On the third month the t-outliner completely shut off, at this point I opened up the casing to see what was wrong, to my disbelief there were wires held together with electrical tape! I called Andis just to make sure that this wasn’t a manufacturer mistake, they said that they do not send out units with electrical tape. At this point I took the unit back to the store to complain, at which point the owner called the police and said I can have a $15 discount on a new unit or I could wait for the police officers. At this point I just left because what goes around comes around.

They say that close at 11pm however they stop selling hair (wigs, weaves, ponytails) at 10pm. Therefore they are misleading customers to believe that they close later than they do. All the other products except the hair you can buy at Walmart. The only benefit to them closing late is that you can buy hair late!! And they close the doors early depending on their mood I guess. Long story short, owners/managers have poor integrity.
