Yes I was by the old body shop he did work for me in the 90s and a 2000 the manager was Ed find out he moved to a new location I will be going to him if I have any body work and he did excellent excellent excellent work for me and my family back in the day and Im glad I can reconnect with him because you always need a good body man for your car or minivan and SUVs
They dont deserve one star. Should be closed down. Bought a new SUV there several years ago. I had a hard time getting the second key. The saleswoman asked me for my J.D. Powers survey sent to new car buyers. She wanted to fill out the survey and give me a gas debit card. Nothing but bunch of crooks. Whatever you do stay away. On a maintenance trip I spoke with other customers in the service area. I heard nothing but complaints from those who purchased used cars. I remember a little Chinese lady told me she had JUST purchased a used vehicle; already it quit on her. Beware!
It was a pleasure dealing with the crew at Desimone! Polite, detail oriented and honest. I knew upfront what was needed to make necessary repairs to my vehicle. The quoted price matched the actual invoice and the price was a bit less than two other estimates from two different shops! Thank you gentleman and ladies! I will be back again for my regular maintenance!
All of the reviews that were posted I should have listened to. I am happy to fully explain my experience but to sum it up, a lot of talk and very little action. The action that existed was largely inaccurate.I would not recommend this place to anyone and am more than happy to share the entirety of my story.
I had my car towed here, foolishly, after I got into an accident one fine Sunday afternoon after a golf outing. If only I had seen the reviews for this place before I let them take my car here, I would have saved what Im sure will be thousands of dollars in repairs in the future. My car arrived in the dealership Sunday afternoon. They opened the place up for me, which I appreciated, and got me into a rental car within an hour. My car was then inspected a day later by my insurance company. He said repairs would take about 5 business days, so I should expect the car to be done at the latest, the end of the following week.My car was not out of the shop until a full 20 calendar days later. Oh well, maybe they did a good job right? After all the tow truck informed me that they had a group of Italian guys doing my repair. Like that has anything to do with quality of service. My rear bumper now has a beautiful new scratch on it, as well as some brilliant spray paint on the hood, where it looks like they spray painted a piece of trim without using any masking tape to cover the hood. My hood does not close properly on one side, and the wrong trim was ordered for my vehicle. It really looks awful.I only hope that nobody else is naive enough to have their car towed here. Lesson learned: find a shop in the area that you trust and have their number on speed dial.
Awesome service from an amazing person. Meg Catana was so nice and helpful, just incredible! We only stop by to see options to upgrade our car and Meg took care of our case and in less than expected we are driving our new car. 100% satisfied!!!Thanks Meg :)
Buying the vehicle went relatively okay--took all day-- however, this dealership has awful follow-through. Dont bother calling or leaving a message. You will be automatically sent to voicemail and if you bother to leave a message dont expect anyone to return your call. If you do get someone on the phone they will pass the ball to someone else or shift blame to someone who is, of course, out of the office. After leaving with a new car I was almost immediately bombarded by collections agents from the bank. Apparently they had never received the payoffs. When I called the dealership I was constantly given the run around. For some reason there is one gatekeeper of all financial information. No other employee can access account information. No one else has keys to her cabinets so that individuals paperwork can be retrieved. And, Lloyd despite his title, can do nothing. He does make false claims of handling your situation, of returning calls, etc. Ultimately, more than 30 days passed and my credit was affected. I purchased 2 vehicles from Desimone but will not be back.
Brought an Suzuki XL7 2007 had 88,000 miles so I knew I was taking a risk on it. Week two of having the truck the struts on the trunk went on me. The counter on the oil was at 0 so when I went to get the oil changed they said it was no record of the car getting an oil change. Now yes thats a risk I tookSo I am nearing 100 and my trans goes... Which is not surprising with the line of work I do.. I first report about the car acting funny and put the car in the shop it sat there 3 days without anyone looking at it. I lost 2 days of workSo I bring it again a few weeks later and they tell me the trans is bad and they have to order a new one... I took the car with me since its my only mode of transportation. They said the part should be in on Wednesday... not only was the part not in... it is still not in and now we have to wait for Monday... I missed 3 days of work they dont even have a loaner program.... Aint nobody got time for this messNever buying a car from here again
I cannot state this enough. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANY REASON. I bought a deal through a Groupon-like site for a detail here. After picking up my car, it was unfinished. The wheels were dirty, there was wax all over the place, and I had new scratches on my car (which was perfect when I brought it in!).After taking it home, I looked at it more closely and what I though was just wax on my trim turned out to be actual scratches and melted plastic from where they ran the buffer over it. Most of the trim on my car is ruined, and cannot be fixed. Then I began to look at it more closely...The paint over most of my car was ruined. In many places they buffed through my clear coat, and even down to the metal in places! When I pointed this out, I was told that they would use some touch-up paint and fix it. At this point I lost and and I am letting my insurance company handle it from here. I truly hope they sue DeSimone and force them to pay for all the damage they did to my car!
Desimone Mitsubishi has Awesome sales people. Very friendly and extremely helpful. They left no question unaswered. I highly recomend buying here
I had purchased a used vehicle end of February. The sales people there were very friendly. Unfortunately, they dont know how to clean a car out. There were drugs left in the middle console and after 3 attempts requesting the manual for my car (which is just 2 yrs old) they tell me I can order one at the parts department. Pretty sad that they are unable to order one as a courtesy... I now have to spend $$$ just to figure out how my car works! THANKS
Horrible place do not even think to go there. i trade in my car and they paid after 2 months for my trade in car.horrible customer support, I was calling almost every 2nd day and they keep lying on the phone that they have paid .....
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE OR BE ALLOWED TO BE TOWED HERE FOR ANY REASON!!! HORRIBLE, SHODDY WORK!!We were in a major accident and from out of the state. We were towed to their shop at 6:30 on a Friday night, given a bunch of paperwork for a rental vehicle and in that paperwork for the rental and the authorization to have the insurance co pay them directly for the rental was an authorization for them to repair our vehicle. We never had any intention for them to repair our car as we had a very bad feeling about them right away. I was told by by insurance co that they would have the car towed to our state the following Mon. When they called, they were told by the owner that there aint no way this car is being released. Since I unknowingly signed the papers for him to repair our car we were stuck. When we got our car back, our insurance adjustor came out and made a detailed list of all the items that Desimone was paid to do and did not do. We did retrieve some money from them for those items through the insurance co but am now fighting with them because our car is already beginning to rust (2 mths later). Our trusted auto body shop is disgusted with the shoddy work that was performed and has to be redone. PLEASE!!!! Whatever you do, stay far away from this shop! They are not to be trusted and their work is horrible! They painted over nuts and bolts instead of removing them, they painted around windows without removing them like they were paid to do, there are drip marks, they were paid to replace parts that they did not.
I stopped by Desimone to see if they had any options for me to help with a trade in. Sammy and Mike were able to find a good vehicle for me that has everything I was looking for. Also, they worked hard to get me in the vehicle I wanted for a good price. I was in the office for quite some time getting everything handled with the trade in and transferring insurance. Sammy and Mike were very patient with me and explained everything I needed to know before I made a decision. I did not feel pressured into anything. I was comfortable and well informed. Service was great and I love my 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, especially with this wonderful winter we have experienced. The Outlander Sport is 4WD, works great in snow and saves so much in gas!
They people at Desimone awesome! I loooove my vehicle and got an amazing deal on an outlander sport. Thanks to mike and sammy for making me feel like they really cared about me. Thats rare at a car dealership.
WORST PLACE EVER! VERYY VERYYY SHADDY PEOPLE, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! IVE HAD TONS OF TROUBLE WITH THESE PPL, PAID FOR WORK THAT WASNT DONE
I bought a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi about three months ago and had a good experience with Desimone. I have no experience with their auto service department, but sales treated me very professionally. Most car dealerships annoy me for many reasons. This one didnt. After extensive reading and searching, I had a particular year and model I was interested in buying, as well as the price I would pay. One Friday I set out to visit four dealership that had the vehicles. I read the poor reviews for Desimone (though most seem to be about their repair service), so it wasnt the first of the multiple long drives I had planned. The price I was willing to pay was thousands below what any of the dealerships were advertising, but I had reasoning that lead me to that price. Im not experienced with car purchasing, so I really didnt know if Id be successful in my four visits that day.The first dealership said that my price was not reasonable, so I left. Desimone was the second visit because of its location in my route. My offer to them was lower than the first offer I had made, even though the age and millage were slightly less, because of some specifics about the car. To my surprise, they took the offer without any attempt to negotiate (except for the gasp that the sales person made when I wrote down my offer price for her to take to the back room where the deal makers are). The entire experience was hassle free, and thats rarely the case at car dealerships if youre cost conscious. There were no hidden fees or surprises. They didnt even keep me there at the dealership for a long wait, as often happens. The car has turned out to be everything I had hoped, and Im really enjoying it.Every dealership charges a documentation fee, which drives me nuts. Its just an extra addition to the price for them to pocket. Usually anywhere from $120 to $1,000. Ive been ripped off before by this, so Im very aware of it. I always ask the documentation fee before I even talk price at a dealership, and I subtract it from the price I would have offered. At Desimone it was $120. Who knows what it would have been if I hadnt asked before discussing price.I talked with the manager briefly, during which I mentioned that bad reviews on Google. He says its under new management and theyre making changes. The negatives about this place are minor. Their location is on a busy street with awkward parking. And their inventory online is out of date. Ive found this to be typical with many dealerships. In fact, the car I bought was not even listed online. I was fortunate, because it was in a color I wanted but didnt find available anywhere I looked.
We purchased our first of 2 vehicles back in May 2013. 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer SE AWD and our first issue was as a result of the vehicle being a left over from 2012 and the car sitting on the lot for so long (little over a year), tires were bad (belts in the tires were damaged from the sitting) and had a shimmy issue that could not get corrected by a simple balancing or alignment, ended up have all four tires swapped. Then noticed that inspections were expired as well for over 3 months and they still sold me the car without going through all the necessary steps to make sure the car that I was getting delivered was in tip top shape as a brand new car it should be. Then noticed the car had a lot of scratches inside and outside as well Im guessing from previous customers test drives and they didnt care for any of that. Instead when I bought this to their sales manager attentions all he replied back to me is that the car I was getting was just a Mitsubishi Lancer, not an Infiniti like his car so by him saying that he was giving me to understand that it was normal to get a product full of imperfections because the car wasnt as expensive as his (bravo!!!! what a way to encourage your customers and project the best image about your business and your products and to show how much you care for your customers after the papers have being signed). Also found one of my mirrors had a problem with the gasket seal and after 2 previous attempts to get this addressed and corrected and even having to talk to Mr. Desimone directly finally got them to replace it but for my surprise they had swapped for a non heated mirror when all my papers state that the car comes with heated mirrors which means not one but both mirrors and what a way to find out in the middle of a snow storm, trying to figure out why the mirror was not working as my driver side one, then I remembered that they had worked on it and this is sooo dishonest from them, it really got me hyped enough to jump into this review thing and write this review so other get to know the true way of how they conduct business at this place. So please be aware and learn from my bad experiences with them.
I had a car accident and my car was towed to a shop in Germantown area of Philadelphia (so I thought). A week later when the insurance adjuster is ready to come out, I find out my car is all the way in the Northeast at Desimone collision shop. I did not know I had an option to have it towed to another shop or I would have, since I have a Honda and they are a Suzuki dealer. They originally had my car repaired (so I thought) within a week and a half and I was provided with a rental during that time. When I went to pickup my car I realized two lights were on that shouldnt have been, the bottom and side bumper was still damaged and there were areas that had not been completly painted. Worst of all my alignment was off and the car turns toward the left everytime I hit the breaks, which was the direction it went in during the accident...creepy. They couldnt fix anything right away so I left.2nd trip and the lights were turned off in the dash and they fixed the bottom bumper but the side bumper now had a little chunk missing, like a bad cut job while shaping it. (i dont know how these things work) but it definitely did not match the other side. The screws that should have held the under carriage and fender on one side were missing and it looked as if it were going to fall off. Now Tony is snappy and has an attitude with me. I was given no apologies for all my traveling, time, or being treated horribly by this company. Again, I would have to come back.3rd trip there and Tony says I need a new bumper altogether and that the job was done poorly (I agree) but now he has to order a new bumper and he will call me in when it gets here and then they will complete everything. He was nice this time but I was starting to get frustrated. I dont like to get nasty with people who work on my car so Im trying to keep my cool. He writes all my car numbers on his hand to order the parts (very professional). He let me know he would call and it should be in about a week later. That was on Friday 13, 2009. Today is Wednesday, November 25, 2009. I left messages for Tony but received no return call, that was on Saturday. I called him again today and he says the bumper is in but its the holidays so they have half day today, closed for Thursday (Thanksgiving) and half day Friday, and I should come in on Monday, November 30. The hours at DeSimones is 8-6. I usually work 8-5 so I have to rush to get there at the last minute during rush hour and he says I need to leave t and take a rental.I am soooo fed up with this company and this will be my 4th trip to get a simple bumper collision repair completed. It has been a disaster and I am thinking about reporting them to the Bureau of consumer protection, the BBB, and anyone else who can make DeSimone take responsibility for their very poor services and treatment of consumers.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DESIMONE TO ANYONE!!!I would not recommend anyone use this comapny
The customer service representatives had a harsh attitude and acted like the customer (myself) was doing them a disservice by comting to their service department for service. Not going back again. This is no way for a company to be run.
They lie a lot tony is not a good person and will steal your money than lie about it had my car there for a month n still not fix after spending 5134 do not come here they r All not good people they will do shady things to your car John is the only one who help us but all in all the worst place to go
Great dealer!!!!! Great sales staff!
This dealership blows.
Not happy with the service
