They suck. Paid for tire mount and balance guy was incompetent . My husband ended up putting our own tires on for him and never even balanced them charged full price and refused to give discount.

I have been a costumer at North Bay Automotive for over a year and they have always done a great service for a great price. They always have nice, clean dependable loaner cars whenever your service is longer than a few hours. They do it all from mechanical to body and paint. I recently got a two-tone full body paint job for my Lexus RX 300 and it looks as good as new, for an unbeatable price, only a fraction of what other body shops would charge you. These guys Rock!

I had two interactions with this place.The first was to fix a flat tire. A man named David dropped everything to help me quickly and with friendly manners. This experience made me come in for a second time.The second time I went in to have my brakes serviced. They could not give me a quote. They said they needed to look at the parts and get back to me. I left my car there. Then a man named Ever called me and told me that the service to replace the rotors and pads would be $900. I told him another shop in town had given me a $600-650 estimate (this was true). He said he would get back to me to see if they could lower the price. Less than 5 minutes later he told me they could do it for $700, but if I paid cash they would do it for $650. But nothing in the service had changed. So the $900 estimate was just an arbitrary number?I agreed out of convenience. They told me they would have it ready the next day. The next day after calling several times they did not pick up. I went to the shop and it was closed. There was a newer model Mercedes on blocks there with the windows down and the owners personal items exposed. Then Ever called me and asked me if I was willing to come down to Corte Madera to pick up my car at their other shop. This was crazy! I told him to bring it up to Petaluma, which he did and my gas tank was empty. What ever happened to integrity?

Scam artists, using the name of a well established company in the area. The phone number isnt even in service.

Almost fooled me! DO NOT confuse this place with the long standing excellent shop in town named Northbay Automotive. To start this shop with the name of an existing respected member of the community is deceptive at best. Where else would they cut corners?

We took two cars in, both times they said we needed $500 brake job, complete BS! We were going to replace all pads today on North Bay Autos recommendation EXCEPT none of the pads were bad - UNBELIEVABLE! They were blatantly lying to cheat us. See photos taken today, plenty of brake pad left. They also added new caliper rebuilds to the estimate on my Nissan with low mileage - DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP.

If I could give it an even lower star I would. Brought car in on June 25 for repair of a/c and its July 2 and we still havent gotten the car back. One lie after another. It is actually my moms car, they told her it was fixed she got in drove away (after paying well over $700.00) and what blew at her was Hot Hot Hot air. When we arrived June 24 in Northern California they were experiencing a heat wave. My 80 year old mom came home with beet red face, sweat pouring down and that look that says im totally stressed. Do not and I repeat do not go to this place.

I have an Infinity g35 and parts are usually a pain in the butt, but these guys fixed up my car quick and at a good price. I will definitely be bringing my car back here in the future
