An incredible store and a museum. I could easily spen a couple of hours there. The prices I think were all pretty reasonable. The museum is located downstairs, dont miss out. I was walking by and just decided to peak in, wish I had more time. Will definitely return when I am in the area the next time.

The museum is below an antiques store. It has lots of things for collectors of all types. Although there were more military items from Germany during ww2 than the us it is still a neat place.

Fantastic place to find old relics and some pristine pieces from ancient times. By that I mean some great stuff from the past 100 years. Many great electronics all over. Decent vinyl collection. Great selection of tools. The museum is the second half of the building, and it is great. Many cool pieces in the museum and displays. Also a lot of different options for getting military gear or other little things.

We were in town for the morning and looking for something fun to do after breakfast at the wishbone which is great by the way... so we went to the collective to look around in this was such a great shop! There were so many interesting things to look at and it brought back so many memories like the cool fishing lures.. definitely something for everyone and lots of different price ranges and the shopkeeper was such a pleasant older man... Looking forward to going back again

The ONLY reason this business doesnt get a fifth star from me is its very expensive, in some cases unreasonably so. Its essentially a consignment shop upstairs with a military themes consignment downstairs with a small museum showing off antiques from WW1 to Vietnam era. It is easy to lose track of time here and very fun to just browse, and the staff downstairs really make it a great experience. They have answers to questions, and thats always what to look for in a good business. Theres a Vietnam vet working there who would rather educate you than sell you something you dont necessarily need. All in all a very good store.

Several stores and experiences in one. The top floor is a vast antiques shop with tons of stuff that will have you shouting OMG! Look at this! Wow, I had this as a kid! And, Holy cow, I always wanted one of these! The prices were OK. I doubt youre going to find any bargains, but if theres something youre looking for, theres a good chance they have it.Downstairs theres a small museum displaying field uniforms and equipment from WWII and WWI along with examples of toys and propaganda from the various nations. Theres also a little display about the Doolittle Raid with some artifacts of some of the crewmen. The museum is by donation and is worth the visit. Most of the floor-space of the downstairs is devoted to a military antiques store which is very nearly a museum in and of itself. Again, the prices are perfectly reasonable, but I didnt see any great bargains. (If youre in the market for a dozen Soviet WWII bayonets, this is the place you want to be.) Theres also a good military bookstore in the corner as well as a variety of historical ephemera for sale. If you have any interest in military history at all, youll probably have a difficult time getting out of there without buying something. I certain didnt. And Ill go back again soon.

If you are really into Military Stuff, this is a neat place to check out. My husband brought me there because he runs The American Armory museum in Fairfield California. Its downstairs and my hubby was down there for what seemed like an eternity! I stayed upstairs because they sell all kinds of antiques, and the prices are doable! My husband bought a bunch of old newspapers for a display, and I bought an adorable Betty Boop sign for my kitchen. Shes selling Boopsie Soda for 5 cents!

Review №63

This small military museum is outstanding. Loving it is a rather strange adjective to give it five stars. It can be tough to show kids. Its a very adult museum. These guys are not cranks. Two things distinguish this museum from most others. 1) you are allowed to try and hold some of the small arms: M-1 rifles, Thompson and MP-40 submachine guns, etc. They are not in operating condition, but you can hold and get a sense of the heft of these things (not many places where you can do this). And you can talk to the guys. Not quite as good as going out into Nevada where you can sample the action of some of these at a gun range. 2) and why its rather adult is a small box box marked For adults only: its a small collection of photos of vets who survived face shots (wounds). If you think your kid cant handle this box, you can just see the rest of this museum. Both of these place this museum head and shoulders above most WWII museums. These vets do this not to glamorize WWII but cover wars realities. This was not a clean and easy war. Honor these guys and take a look.
